Marwah Studios Will Support ASEAN Meet by PHDCCI


Dr. Sandeep Marwah At First Meeting of ASEAN Summit


New Delhi; PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industries will soon present a summit with ASEAN countries to boost the commerce and trade between these countries that was decided in a meeting held by the international Committee of PHDCCI under the leadership of Ajay Podar Committee Chairman.

ASEAN was established on 8 August 1967 in Bangkok by the five original member countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand. Brunei Darussalam joined on 8 January 1984, Vietnam on 28 July 1995, Laos and Myanmar on 23 July 1997, and Cambodia on 30 April 1999. All the Ten countries will participate in this economic summit.

“The ASEAN Declaration states that the aims and purposes of the Association are: to accelerate the economic growth, social progress and cultural development in the region through joint endeavors in the spirit of equality and partnership in order to strengthen the foundation for a prosperous and peaceful community of Southeast Asian nations,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chair for Art and Cultural Committee at PHD.

“The second aim is to promote regional peace and stability through abiding respect for justice and the rule of law in the relationship among countries in the region and adherence to the principles of the United Nations Charter. In 1995, the ASEAN Heads of State and Government re-affirmed that “Cooperative peace and shared prosperity shall be the fundamental goals of ASEAN,” added Dr. Marwah confirming the participation of Marwah Studios.

Many diplomats from different countries, former Ambassadors, Committee Heads and Vivek Seigell Principle Director of PHDCCI were present there.

Sandeep Marwah Honored By Rotary Club


New Delhi: A get together recently was organized by Rotary Club at the residence of  Dr. Udit Raj member Parliament to greet and honor few important dignities who all have done well in their respective fields.

We are proud of media personality Sandeep Marwah, the six times World Record Holder now four times Doctor and only Indian to bring 110 international awards from more than 70 countries of the World. Rotary Club honors him to bring the name of country to new level in the World,” said Gaurav Gupta of Rotary Club inviting Marwah to receive his award.

Dr. Udit Raj and H.E. Sidharto Reza Suryodipuro Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Indonesia to India presented the award in the presence of august audience. Social worker Parul Mahajan , H.E. Augusto Montiel Ambassador of Venezuela to India and other dignities congratulated Sandeep Marwah.

“I am thankful to each and every one present here for your best wishes and  blessings. I believe you can do what you can think, so better you think big,” said Marwah in a very emotional tone.

New Delhi; A powerful meeting was designed to honor H.E Sidharto Reza Suryodipuro the Ambassador of Indonesia to India by Indian Council for Human Relations at Hotel Samrat where Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios was also invited.

K.L.Malhotra the secretary General of the organization welcomed the guest and introduced to the dignities. He emphasized on Indo Indonesian tie-ups.

“Only last year I was in Indonesia for few days and found this country very colorful and happening. The country is made of 17000 islands and  attracts 10 million tourists from all over the World. I would love to visit again,” said Sandeep Marwah presenting the flower bouquet to the Ambassador.

“The ties between Indonesia and India date back to the times of the Ramayana. The name Indonesia derives from the Latin Indus, meaning "India", and the Greek nesos, meaning "island" said H.E. Sidharto Reza Suryodipuro expressed his gratitude to country for India for such a warm welcome. The members of the organization were also present there.
