Noida: The students of the AAFT School of Performing Arts (Music) recently participated in an engaging workshop titled “Musicians in Front of Camera,” conducted by Madhav Singla at Marwah Film City. The workshop aimed to educate students on how to present themselves in various visual media formats, including film, TV programs, stage shows, documentaries, and advertising films.

“The more you practice, the better you become. Music enhances your thinking, culture, values, and art. Every new input brings new zest into the life of a learner,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of AAFT, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and practice.

Madhav Singla, reflecting on the workshop, shared, “I believe that our greatest achievements come from making a positive impact in someone’s life—a sentiment I inherited from my mom. Shakespeare Remembered at AAFT Noida Film City

Noida:  The Shakespeare Society of Marwah Studios solemnly commemorated the death anniversary of William Shakespeare, the bard whose timeless works continue to be the cornerstone of dramatic arts and education. The event was marked by the poignant words of President Dr. Sandeep Marwah, who stated, “There is no greater teacher in acting than Shakespeare himself. Each of his plays is a repository of profound emotions, wise words, and exemplary performances. The expressions within his works are not just for the stage—they teach us about life itself.”

Noida: “Where words fail, music speaks. Music is the strongest form of magic. After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music. One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain,” said Sandeep Marwah inaugurating the musical evening planned by the students of AAFT School of Performing Arts at Marwah Studios.

Some of the finest Ghazals were sung by the students and mesmerised the audience. Sandeep Marwah also presented book on Raj Kapoor written by Rahul Rawail to all the dignities in return Tejendra Sharma presented his newly released book to Dr. Sandeep Marwah. One and all appreciated the powerful musical presentations by the young singers and musicians.

Renowned Hindi Writer from London Tejendra Sharma, President COWE Noida Meetu Puri, Renowned Kathak Exponent Deepak Maharaj, Vice Chairman Inventivepreneur Chamber of Commerce and Industries Rishab Malhotra, Ashok Gupta of Advik Publishers were the guest of honour on the occasion. A poster on Sardar Patel was released to mark respect to the great freedom fighter and first deputy Prime Minister and home minister of India by Sardar Patel Forum of Marwah Studios.

Asian Academy Presented A colourful Program by Students at Marwah Studios

Noida: A colourful extravaganza was created by Asian Academy of Arts in association with Foundation for Krishna Kala and Education Society to provide an opportunity to young talent to showcase their arts in Dance Drama and Music at Marwah Studios Film City Noida.

“Great dancers are not great because of their technique; they are great because of their passion. Actors are agents of change. A film, a piece of theatre, a piece of music or a book can make a difference. It can change the world. For an artist, screams of adoration and praise is the reward for spilling your guts on the stage,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Academy of Arts motivating students of different streams.

Large number of students from different school and colleges participated and exhibit dance and musical performances which were worth praising. A competition brought best out of them. Many students were awarded with mementos and cash prizes by the sponsors including students from AAFT School of Performing Arts & AAFT School of Cinema. The event was covered by Radio Noida and MSTV of Marwah Studios.

The job of feet is walking, but their hobby is dancing, The most essential thing in dance discipline is devotion, to watch us dance is to hear our hearts speak, Do it big, do it right, and do it with style,” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios and Chair for Indo Malaysian Film and Cultural Forum on the occasion of   great dance recital by the Malaysian Group at Marwah Studios Noida Film City.

We are more than happy to deal with Marwah Studios. The Indo Malaysian Film and Cultural Forum has grown big with every event. Promotion of art and culture brings spiritual feelings to the people. The dance group from Malaysia I am sure will be appreciated by the people of India,” H.E. Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid High Commissioner of Malaysia to India.

The colourful dances were presented by the Malaysian Group in a jam-packed hall. Later Every artist was honoured with the membership of Indo Malaysian Film and Cultural Forum. Singing song means you need to have perfect diction, speech, little knowledge of language and command on your voice,” initiated Dr Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT School of Performing Arts at the inauguration of new batch of 2022 of the school introducing Nikita Gandhi a renowned singer from Mumbai.

“Knowledge of music, continuous practice and quality to change with direction, not to be rigid are some more qualities you need to be known in this industry. It is growing industry and digitization has added a lot to the existing business. Create your own channels, social media will tell you how good you are in your art and to be successful you have to be honest to your profession,” said Nikita Gandhi who won the hearts of young students with her appealing voice. She sang her hit numbers and created a beautiful environment at Marwah Studios.

Nikhita Gandhi  is an Indian playback singer  who has worked in Indian films in four different languages. She has worked on Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Bengali, and Kannada film projects.

She sang as the face of Deepika Padukone in Raabta  for the title track “Raabta”.Her song ” Ullu ka Pattha” dual with Arijit Singh from the film Jagga Jasoos is a hit song. She sang for Sachin: A Billion Dreams, Chef, Jab Harry Met Sejal, and Ittefaq. She also sang a Bengali song “Mithe Alo” with Atif Aslam for Cockpit.  Her song “Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe” and “Poster Lagwa Do” also became popular.

AAFT has grown bigger with school of performing arts,” said Dr Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and AAFT School of Performing Arts at the inauguration of new session 2022 of the school while addressing the new students.

Chief Guest of the occasion Dhruv Dhalla a renowned music director from Mumbai congratulated the new students for opting Music as their career. “The Music industry is growing day by day, established people need educated and trained musician to work in the industry. Practice makes man perfect. A good school like AAFT changes the destiny of the student. Be attentive in your classes, learn well, there a big scope for honest and hardworking musicians, technicians, lyric writers & composers,” said Dhruv Dhalla.

Dhruv Dhalla is known for his work in feature films like Khosla Ka Ghosla, Oye Lucky Oye!, Dil Kabaddi, Tere Bin Laden, Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande, Bumboo, Sharafat Gaye Tel Lane, Via Kargil, Coffee With D, Signal, Ahaan and many more.

We need not to forget that whole film industry is parallel to events and its management. AAFT School of Advertising PR & Events has done well in these years and I wish new students to learn a lot from the classes as well as the events which take place at the campus. Needless to say, AAFT organizes largest number of events in comparison to any other institution in the World,” said Vikram Tyagi also congratulating students of Digital Marketing.

Asian Academy of Arts will Continue Promoting Classical Music

Asian Academy of Arts will continue promoting Indian Classical music like all these years and will invite all the legends in music industry to perform live at Marwah Studios. The planning for the same is almost ready,” added Marwah while discussing the details with the flute maestro Chetan Joshi at Noida Film City.

Soon the dates along with the renowned names of the artists will be intimated to music lovers from this part of the country. Last year Asian Academy of Arts conducted two days music festival on the occasion of 30 years of Marwah Studios.

Noida: “Dancing is so much more than just grooving on the dance floor to your favourite tunes. In fact, you’ll be surprised how many benefits are associated with dancing. Not only does it train your brain and your body’s motor skills but it also is an excellent exercise for your entire body,” said Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT School of Performing Arts on the celebration of International Dance Day at Marwah Stuios Film City Noida.

“Dance allows you to express a wide variety of emotions. The way you dance can express happiness, excitement, and passion but also aggression and anger. What is so wonderful about dancing is that it helps you to relieve stress and to fully center yourself in the present moment,” added Sandeep Marwah also President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

This day is a celebration day for those who can see the value and importance of the art form “dance”, and acts as a wake-up-call for governments, politicians and institutions which have not yet recognised its value to the people and to the individual and have not yet realised its potential for economic growth.

The goals of International Dance Day are To promote dance in all its forms across the world, to make people aware of the value of dance in all its forms like to enable the dance community and to promote their work on a broad scale, so that governments and opinion leaders are aware of the value and importance of dance in all its forms and support it.

Udit Narayan Shared His Experience with Students of AAFT University

Mumbai: Well-known singer Udit Narayan addressed the students of AAFT University of Media And Arts in a special class on web. The students from all the disciplined were amazed to meet this legendary singer who has been awarded Padma Shree and Padma Bhushan for his untiring work in the field of music.

“Music is life, and I cannot think anything else other than singing. It’s a passion and only those people get success in life who are passionate for their profession. My journey was very difficult, but patience helped me to achieve what I wanted to gain in this music industry,” said Udit Narayan talking to the students of AAFT School of performing arts and other schools.

The awards and appreciations are needed to every artist, but they should bring new blood to your work. I got the opportunity to sing with every music director and for every known hero of the industry. I am thankful to my parents, teachers and everyone one who has supported me in my journey,” said Udit Narayan emotionally.

“Music takes you to spirituality, people who don’t love art, culture, music cannot be considered complete human beings,” said Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT University. Marwah presented to Udit Narayan an award of excellence -Evergreen Icon of Music in Indian Film Industry to honour his visit to AAFT.

Udit Narayan is a renowned Indian Playback Singer who has featured in numerous Bollywood films. He has also made a mark with his singing in varoious other languages including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Odia, Nepali, etc. He also the recipient of 4 Natonal awards and 5 film fare awards. He has been in singing since 1980 and has sung so far 25000 songs.

Udit Narayan has sung for Amitabh Bachchan, Rajesh Khanna, Amir Khan, Dev Anand, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapoor and many more. His work has been well appreciated in films like Pukar, Dharkhan, Lagan, Devdas Veer Zara and many more.

Hariharan Shared His Experience of Music Industry with AAFT

New Delhi: “We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams.Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent. Music produces a kind of pleasure which human nature cannot do without. The most exciting rhythms seem unexpected and complex, the most beautiful melodies simple and inevitable,” expressed Hariharan while talking to the students of AAFT School of Performing Arts.

“It is necessary for the students to have interaction with the professional from the industry to give them insight of what is actually happening in the World. The level of  education and training goes up and students churn out much intelligent and smart at the end of the day,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts.

Hariharan is an Indian playback bhajan and ghazal singer from Trivandrum, whose songs have been mainly in Tamil and Hindi. Also, he sang songs in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi and Bhojpuri films. He is an established  Ghazal singer and one of the pioneers of Indian fusion music. In 2004, he was honoured with the Padma Shree  by the Government of India and is a two-time National Award winner. He is regarded as one of the greatest Indian singers of all time.

Later Sandeep Marwah honoured Hariharan with The Award For Excellence For Impactful Classical & Live Singing in Global Arena on behalf of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

New Delhi: “Music is like a dream. Without music, life would be a mistake. Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything. Music is a language that doesn’t speak in particular words. It speaks in emotions,” said renowned singer Shan while talking to the students of AAFT University of Media and Arts in a webinar to motivate them and to learn about music.

AAFT -Asian Academy of Film And Television has been conducting under graduate and post graduate courses in music from last few years. The students get extra ordinary exposure of the industry as a part of syllabus. Many important dignities from India and abroad are associated as guest faculty informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts.

Shantanu Mukherjee known as Shaan, is an Indian play back singer active in Hindi,Bengali, Marathi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati, Marathi and Urdu language films and a television host. He hosted the shows Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, , Star Voice of India and many others.

Shaan has sung playback vocals for several hit Bollywood films, including Pyar Main Kabhi Kabhi, Bas Itna Sa Khwab Hai, Jhankar Beats, Lakshya, Kaante, Dil Chahta Hai, Kal Ho Na Ho, Hum Tum, Dhoom, Dus, Salaam Namste, Koi Mil Gaya, Munna Bhai MBBS, Don and many others.

Neither any outdoor activity nor group of people gathered to create the music this time owing to Pandemic in the World.

It speaks in emotions, and if it’s in the bones, it’s in the bones,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of the University while talking to the students and professionals about the promotion of music in the country.

“I think music in itself is healing. It’s an explosive expression of humanity. It’s something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we’re from, everyone loves music. Music produces a kind of pleasure which human nature cannot do without. A painter paints pictures on canvas, but musicians paint their pictures on silence,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah appreciating the works of AAFT music students.

AAFT School of Performing arts is associated with large number of professional events round the year. Many well-known music directors, singers, musicians and technicians are now part of the AAFT board.

New Delhi:” Probably this is for first time we actually cannot celebrate International Dance Day with a dance recital at Marwah Studios. AAFT School of Performing Arts promise to compensate the show at the right time after the lockdown is over keeping social distancing in mind,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT School of Performing Arts attending Webinar with group of artist.

The Dance Committee of the International Theatre Institute created International Dance Day, partner for the performing arts of United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). It was created in 1982.”
This day is celebrated to give value to this art. International Dance Day is wake-up-call for governments, politicians, and institutions, society to realize its potential for economic growth.
“The dance is a poem of which each movement is a word. Dancing is the most moving, the most beautiful of the arts, because it is no mere translation or abstraction from life; it is life itself. The day is celebrated to promote all dance forms throughout the world, to make people aware of the value of all the dance forms and to bring attention to governments, leaders, and get support to enable the dance community to promote their artwork,” added Dr. Marwah congratulating thousands of dancers all over the World who all broadcasting their performances on different social media to entertain people during Covid 19.

Noida: A powerful and electrifying performance by Manjeet Uppal at the musical show organized by AAFT School of Performing Arts at Marwah Studios Noida Film City mesmerized the young college audience.

“Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything. After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music,” said Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT University.

Manjeet Uppal is a well Known Singer from Canada. He has established his name in a short period as an actor, director, music composer and a singer.  He is a multi talented person.

Manjeet has done over thousands of shows and specializes in Punjabi, Hindi, Pop, Rock, Ghazals and Sufi folk music. His unique style allows all different genres with a mix of old and new songs

“Music plays an important role in our life. It has the ability to play around with our emotions, being a musician by heart and soul, I have devoted myself to express from my inner self as a stage entertainer and performer and captivates the audience with soulful voice,” said Manjeet Uppal.
