100th Convocation of AAFT Was A Great Celebration

100th Convocation of AAFT


Noida: A great grand event was planned on the occasion of 100th Convocation of Asian Academy of Film And Television, an institution which has been rated as one of the ten best film schools of the World.

More than 100 students were passed out in different disciplines including Production Direction and TV Journalism, Editing and Sound Recording, Camera and Lighting Technics, Acting And Presentation, Sound Recording And Radio Productions, in one year and short term courses.

Dr. Bardinath the Chancellor of Kalinga University, Dr. Jagannath Vice Chancellor of ICFAI University, H.E. Rabie Narsh Ambassador of Lebanon to India, H.E. Michael A N N Oquaye High Commissioner of Ghana to India, Anil Khaitan Immediate Past President of PHDCCI, Padam Shree Sumitra Guha renowned Vocalist, Padam Shree Pratibha Prahlad renowned dance exponent and Jyoti Kailash Senior IAS spoke on the occasion.

“We have grown big in these last twenty five years. Every batch has given us a new light to learn and teach our students better and upto the mark. The courses have been perfect and to the tuned according to the market requirements, we wish you all the success in life,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT.

Workshop by Amita Nangia at AAFT


Life Membership of IFTC to Amita Nangia


Noida: known film and TV artist Amita Nangia conducted an interesting film workshop with the students of Acting and Presentation at Asian Academy of Film And Television.

Answering to the questions of students of acting, Amita Nangia expressed that nothing is impossible in this World, it may be difficult to achieve the success. She narrated her experiences in film and television production at length.

Amita Nangia’s initial popularity was from her role as Sheena in TV serial Tara, broadcast on Zee TV in 1993. She played roles in many Bollywood movies, and was among the five girls of popular TV serial Hum Paanch sitcom,also on Zee TV. She has also acted in Bollywood movies like Purani Haveli and College Girl. She was last seen playing the role of an sorcerer in the indian's mystery and thriller show, Kaal Bhairav Rahasya.

“We are thankful to Amita for being with us and sharing her experience,” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios. Marwah also presented Life Membership of International Film And Television Club of AAFT to Amita Nangia.

AAFT and Budapest Film Academy Will Work Together

Budapest: The renowned media personality and President of Asian Academy of Film And Television Sandeep Marwah met Jeno Hodi the Director of Budapest Film Academy to revive old relations.

AAFT and Budapest Film Academy now will work together in the promotion of cinema and other programs like students exchange, faculty exchange, film festivals of students film and visit to the institutions informed Marwah at a meet at Hotel Marriott River Side during his visit to Budapest in Hungary.

“We know each other well and have visited to each others institutions. Jeno Hodi was in India three years before at Global Film Festival and it was decided to work together,” said Sandeep Marwah

“We are already working with Hollywood and now keen in developing more relations with India, the largest film producing country in the World. AAFT and Marwah Studios are the best platform to start with,” added Jeno Hodi.

Sandeep Marwah also the President of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry invited Jeno Hodi to be guest of honor in the 10th Global Film Festival Noida 2017.

Sandeep Marwah Gets Status of Global Cultural Minister


Sandeep Marwah Nominated Global Cultural Minister


Noida: Once again 35 delegates from 27 countries of the World nominated Sandeep Marwah of AAFT as the Global Cultural Minister for his deep involvement in bringing love, peace and unity in the World through art and culture during the Global Peace Summit at Noida Film City.

“I have yet to know a person who has worked for more than 140 countries of the World in the field of art and culture-Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios is a man with most exclusive energy. He is an international institution in him self,” said Fatou Faboure Djiba delegate from Senegal during the Global Peace Summit.

“If there is any subject which sounds international then it is Peace. Not many people working seriously on this subject. Bringing people together from all over the World itself is an art and Marwah knows that,” added Mohammad Essa Obaidi delegate from Afghanistan.

“Marwah has earlier also been nominated Global Cultural Minister on different occasion. We all hereby reconfirming his international status today,” said Kavita Bulkoon delegate from Trinidad & Tobago.

“162 Scholarships and 162 film Joint Ventures is beyond the capacity of an individual. By announcing all this Marwah has created another new record,” expressed Youssef Mikhaer Tadrous from Egypt.

Sandeep Marwah is 6 times international record holder. He has invested more than 60000 hours in film, television and media research. He is chairing more than 100 different film, television, media and social organizations with one aim to promote love, peace and unity. He is also the recipient of more than 500 awards from all over the World.

The event was organized by ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and supported by AAFT- Asian Academy of Film And Television, Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India.

The function was attended by foreign delegates from Afghanistan, Senegal, Swaziland, Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Ethiopia, Nepal, Cote D’ lvoire, Fiji, Jamaica, Zimbabwe, Vietnam, Nigeria, Tanzania, Madagascar, Liberia, Trinidad & Tobago, Egypt, Guyana, Ghana, Tajikistan, Gabon, Botswana, South Sudan, Cameron and India.
