Raipur: The founder and Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts Dr. Sandeep Marwah visited the first batch of the students at Kharora, Raipur to take the first hand information of the courses running in the campus.

“I am more than happy as it is just the dream come true- We have been planning the opening of University from some time, this is the day which I have been looking for,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President AAFT at the opening session while talking to the students. Twenty-six years in education, Thirty years in media and would love to pass on best of the education blended with our deep experience of the industry,” added Dr. Marwah.

Dr. Marwah took the round of the University Campus and greeted all the faculties of different departments. A separate session to express his ideology with the faculty was also part of the agenda.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah will be back soon to inaugurate the new audio and film studios in the campus.

Noida: A great grand event was planned on the occasion of 100^th Convocation of Asian Academy of Film And Television, an institution which has been rated as one of the ten best film schools of the World.

More than 100 students were passed out in different disciplines including Production Direction and TV Journalism, Editing and Sound Recording, Camera and Lighting Technics, Acting And Presentation, Sound Recording And Radio Productions, in one year and short term courses.

Michael A N N Oquaye High Commissioner of Ghana to India, Anil Khaitan Immediate Past President of PHDCCI, Padam Shree Sumitra Guha renowned Vocalist, Padam Shree Pratibha Prahlad renowned dance exponent and Jyoti Kailash Senior IAS spoke on the occasion.

Inauguration of 96th Batch of Asian Academy of Film And Television

Noida: AAFT is the only institution in the World, which could start the 96^th session of media training in a span of 24 years of its existence. It seems that we are in education and training for 96 years. It has made us one of the best film school of the World,” said Sandeep Marwah

“I have been noticing from years together the consistence growth of this marvelous institution way back from 1993. AAFT has become a brand in media education,” said Tanvir Zafar Ali from Indian Administrative Services, Government of India while inaugurating the 96^th session at Noida Film City.

“The diplomatic community is impressed by the quality work Marwah Studios has put in in media education and developing strong relations between India and other countries especially Ecuador. We will take our relationship to new level from here,” added Patricio Garces Minister & Deputy Head of the Mission, Embassy of Ecuador in New Delhi.

“I am indebted to my institution, which has trained me so well and now I am the most popular journalist and filmmaker of Afghanistan. I am here to pay my gratitude to AAFT and specially to Sandeep Marwah for his continuous support,” said Mohibullah Hamid renowned journalist and former student of AAFT from Afghanistan.

An actor Najim Khan look a like of Salman Khan and Zubair Farghand renowned Producer from Afghanistan also spoke on the occasion and motivated the new batch of media students.

Later Sandeep Marwah presented the life membership of World Peace Development And Research Foundation of Marwah Studios to the distinguished guests.

Marwah Studios Join Hands With Film Company Kodak

We are out and out ready to promote our feature film wing of Marwah studios so that students enrolled in film courses like BSC in Cinema, Msc in Cinema PGD in Cinematography and Bsc in Cinema with Cinematography as specialization can get ample education and training at the first hand in the institute Asian Academy of Film And Television (AAFT) and Asian School of Media Studies (ASMS) informed Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

To make things easy and available both the schools AAFT and ASMS have tied up with International renowned film company Kodak for the supply as well as the developing of the films. The Vice President of the Company Mehernoz Maloo said,” I am happy to see the facilities available at Marwah Studios for education and teaching films, we would love to join hands with them”

To promote film education we have requested a renowned Cinematographer and film maker Joao Ponces Carlavos from Portugal, Karl Bardosh from New York University and Ashok Tyagi, David Dhawan, Basu Chatterjee, Pankaj Parashar , Khalid Mohammed and Boney Kapoor to be on the board.
