22nd July – Foundation Day of AAFT was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the entire faculty and administrative team at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City. Completing a glorious journey of 32 years in education since 1993, the Asian Academy of Film & Television (AAFT) continues to stand as a beacon of creativity and learning in the field of media and arts.

On this momentous occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Founder and President of AAFT, addressed the gathering and said: Education is the most powerful tool for transformation. Over the last three decades, AAFT has not only imparted skills but has shaped personalities, instilled values, and built careers. Our mission remains the same—to create global professionals who are passionate, skilled, and socially responsible. This milestone is a collective achievement, and I extend my heartfelt gratitude to every faculty member, staff, and supporter who has walked this journey with us.”

Noida, 20th June – The Indo-Iran Film and Cultural Forum, in association with the Iran Cultural House and the Embassy of Iran, proudly hosted a special screening of the award-winning Iranian animated film “Dolphin Boy” at Marwah Studios. The event was graced by the presence of the film’s renowned director and writer, Mohammad Kheirandish, who was accompanied by his wife, Parastoo Tajik.

The screening was attended by an enthusiastic audience, including film, television, and media students from AAFT, who eagerly participated in the interactive session following the screening. Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chair of the Indo-Iran Film and Cultural Forum, emphasized the importance of cultural exchange between India and Iran. He highlighted the significant growth and potential of animation as a medium in both countries, encouraging students to explore and innovate in this dynamic field.

Dr. Faridoddin Faridasr, Cultural Counsellor at the Iran Cultural House in New Delhi, also addressed the gathering, expressing his appreciation for the collaborative efforts in strengthening Indo-Iranian cultural ties through such events.

Mohammad Kheirandish, the distinguished filmmaker, shared insights into the making of “Dolphin Boy,” discussing the creative process and the themes explored in the film. He answered numerous questions from the students, providing them with valuable knowledge and inspiration.

Sandeep Marwah Extends Invitation to M & E Skills Council for Collaboration with Industry Organizations

New Delhi:  Sandeep Marwah, a prominent figure in the media and entertainment industry, has extended an invitation to the Media and Entertainment Skills Council (MESC) to collaborate with various industry associations, aiming to enhance the reach and impact of this esteemed organization. As a member of the Management Committee of the MESC, an important wing of the National Skill Development Corporation under the Ministry of Skill Development, Government of India, Marwah expressed his privilege and eagerness to further support the growth and development of the media and entertainment sector.

In a meeting chaired by Ramesh Sippy at Hotel Lalit, New Delhi, Sandeep Marwah emphasized the value and importance of the MESC, stating, “I am honored to chair several media and entertainment bodies in India and abroad. It would be my pleasure to invite the MESC to collaborate with other media associations, thereby expanding its reach and achieving a broader impact.” Marwah’s visionary leadership and extensive experience in the industry make him a strong advocate for creating synergies and fostering collaboration within the media and entertainment sector.

During the meeting, Mohit Soni, CEO of MESC, announced a joint program between the PHD Chamber of Commerce and the MESC, scheduled for 14th July. Sandeep Marwah, as Chair for the Entertainment & AVGC Committee, will play a significant role in this initiative. Marwah further extended an invitation to the MESC to join the Media & Entertainment Committee of the Bureau of Indian Standards, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Government of India, where he serves as the National Chairman.

Displaying his enthusiasm for collaboration, Dr. Sandeep Marwah expressed his interest in signing an MOU between the MESC and the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), an organization where he currently holds the position of Global President. 9th International Day of Yoga Celebrated at AAFT with Enthusiasm and Zeal

9th International Day of Yoga Celebrated at AAFT Marwah Film City Noida

Noida, June 21, 2023 – On the auspicious occasion of the 9th International Day of Yoga, AAFT (Asian Academy of Film and Television) extended its warmest congratulations to everyone. Dr. Sandeep Marwah, in his welcome address, shared that AAFT has been at the forefront of celebrating this day for the past 30 years. The institution established the Prithvi Yoga Centre in 1993, choosing the 21st of June as Yoga Day, and has been commemorating this event ever since.

To promote the practice of yoga, AAFT’s Marwah Films and Video Production wing produced a 13-episode serial on Yoga back in 1993, which was broadcasted on Doordarshan and garnered immense viewership. Over the years, AAFT has continued its mission of spreading awareness about yoga through workshops, seminars, and interaction programs. Remarkably, more than 15,000 students from over 100 countries have received yoga training from AAFT in the last three decades.

Radio Noida 107.4FM, Radio Mumbai, Radio Raipur, and MSTV have been consistent platforms for showcasing yoga programs. Inspired by the impact and response, AAFT established the School of Health and Wellness, which further contributes to the promotion of yoga and holistic well-being.

In collaboration with the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment, AAFT School of Health and Wellness organized a vibrant and energetic program to commemorate the International Day of Yoga. The event witnessed a captivating yoga-based dance recital and a presentation of yoga exercises, which enthralled the large audience in attendance. Additionally, the program’s highlight was a mesmerizing fashion show centered around Buddhism and meditation, presented by the students of AAFT School of Fashion and Design.

The event attracted a diverse audience from various walks of life, creating a harmonious atmosphere of unity and well-being. New Delhi: Sandeep Marwah, the founder of Marwah Studios, spoke about the 30-year-old organization, the Asian Unity Alliance (AUA), at members meet. The AUA is a setup that seeks to bring Asian countries together through art, culture, education, and tourism. Marwah projected the importance of promoting cultural exchange and understanding between Asian countries and how the AUA plays a significant role in achieving that goal.

The AUA has been conducting various initiatives and events over the past three decades to promote cultural exchange between Asian countries. These initiatives include cultural exchange programs, educational initiatives, and tourism promotions under the banner of   AAFT-Asian Academy of Film and Television, ASMS-Asian School of Media Studies, ANA-Asian News Agency, AAA-Asian Academy of Arts, AAA-Asian Alumni Association, AAA-Asian Advertising Agency, ABS-Asian Business School, ASB-Asian School of Business, ALC-Asian Law College, and AEM-Asian Event Management. It has been decided to have Alumni Meet on 18th of March 2023 at the premises of Marwah Studios and number of suggestions were made to make it a very vibrant, entertaining and colorful meeting followed by awards and Dinner.

“It is now almost 30 years we are in education and AAFT & ASMS have a very strong alumni association. I am proud of my students who all are doing very well in their chosen fields and spread out all over the World,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah while talking to former students. “I would like to appreciate all the effort that is done by you all for the development of our society and thank you for justifying the years spent by you at this institution. Children’s Day Celebrated at AAFT

Noida: Children’s Day is celebrated across India to raise awareness about the rights, education, and welfare of children. It is celebrated on 14 November every year on the birthday of the First Prime Minister of India Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who was known to have been fond of children. On this day,  an educational and motivational program for children was held at AAFT.

“Every child is special and unique. The most precious thing in this world is the smile on the face of a child. Every child should grow with love and care,” said Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts while releasing the poster of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on 14th November the birth anniversary of first Prime Minister of India at Marwah Studio, Noida Film City.

“Never let the kid in yourself die and make sure to take care of it whenever needed. Your kinder heart would make everything better. Many happy wishes for Children’s Day, ”added Rochika Agarwal fashion designer and Member of Central Board of Film Certification.

Aditi Govitrikar on the Board of International Women’s Film Forum

Noida: “It is great pleasure to announce the life membership of   International Women’s Film Forum of Asian Academy of Film and Television to the renowned film, TV and Media personality Aditi Govitrikar on her visit to Marwah Studios at Noida Film City,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah while presenting the certificate of life membership to Aditi.

“I am pleased to be associated with Marwah Studios. Film City Noida has grown very well, and I am also quite familiar with the activities of AAFT. I extend my thanks to Dr Marwah for this honour,” expressed Aditi Govitrikar accepting the memento.

Aditi Govitrikar is an Indian actress, physician, and model. She is the only Indian woman to win Mrs. World title in 2001. From 1997 to 2004, Govitrikar remains the only Indian supermodel with both a medical doctor and a psychologist qualification. She has been touted by Hindustan Times  as “Beauty with Brains”.

She is known for her acting talent in feature films like Thammudu, Soch, 16th December, Baaz: A Bird in Danger, Dhund;The Fog, Paheli, Manoranjan:The Entertainment, Victoria Number 203, Bheja Fry 2, Koi Jane Na etc. She is also seen in major roles in Web Series like Parcchhayee on Zee, Escaypee Life on Disney & HotStar and Mismatched on Netflix.

AAFT has been doing this for long time, we have been able to invite large number of industry professional round the year for the education of our students,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios while addressing the press on the arrival of cast and crew of feature film Dude II.

The well-known actress Apoorva Arora the lead lady of film Dude II also popular for her roles in Bubble Gum, Oh My God!, Dekh Tamasha Dekh, Manjha etc and TV Serials like Gangstars, College Life, Dude, Khatha Meetha etc., along with the popular actor Ambrish Verma known for his roles in Dude, NCR Days, The Great Indian Wedding, Wrong Number etc. answered many questions asked by the students of AAFT during their visit to Marwah Studios Film City Noida.

“You must be honest to your profession. The first preference at any time is to the career is the key to success,” said Apoorva Arora. “Director of the film has the final say, you are just the performer in the film,” added Ambrish Verma.

The event was supported by International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry. Later the management handed over the life membership of  International Film and Television Club of AAFT to the starts of the film.

Chennai: The meeting of Executive Council of FFI- Film Federation of India, the mother body of Cinema in India, was held at The Park Hotel at Chennai where all members were invited to participate in the proceedings of the federation,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Society of Film and Television and Executive member of FFI.

Film Federation was created  way back in 1951 to promote commerce in general and in particular to promote, protect and watch over the interests of the Indian Film Industry and allied industries and trades, including the interests of producers, distributors and-exhibitors of films and of all other persons connected with the film industry, to regulate their method or doing business, to establish just and equitable principles in the film industry to maintain uniformity in rules, regulations and usages of the film industry.

The meeting was Chaired by T.P.Agarwal President of FFI. The body consists of following office bearers including S. Thanu Vice President, C Kalyan Vice President, Nitin N Datar Vice President, N.M. Suresh Vice President, Bajrang Lal Agarwal Vice President, Sakshi Mehra Vice President, S. S. It has already been declared as the fastest growing film city of the World with 16 studios, 350 channels being broadcast to 162 countries 24×7, 17000 media professionals working here in 3 sifts of 8 hours each. My production company has made 3300 short films and given opportunity to 10,000 young film makers to come up in limelight,” added Dr. Marwah.

New Delhi: Sandeep Marwah is the founder of Noida Film City now the fastest growing film city in the World. He is also the founder of First professional film and TV studios of North India. Sandeep Marwah is the founder president of Asian Academy of Film and Television the first Private film and Television School in India, fourth in the country.

“We feel honoured in presenting an Honorary Doctorate to Sandeep Marwah in the field of Journalism for his untiring contribution and achieving highest level of involvement and presentation in journalism which cannot be compared at any level. What he has done probably no one has even thought of that,” citation was read by the Anchor of AIIPPHS University-the state Government University Delhi. The Degree was presented by the Vice Chancellor and the Registrar of AIIPPHS University to Sandeep Marwah in a grand function at Noida Film City.

Sandeep Marwah is the President of International Journalism Centre and has declared 12th February as International Day of Journalism eleven years back. He is the President of biggest journalism school of the country-AAFT School of Journalism and Mass Communication and is the teacher to 20,000 film, television, and media students from all the states & union territories of India and 145 countries of the World. Marwah has created seven World records in film, television, and media training so far.

Sandeep Marwah is the founder president of Global Festival of Journalism Noida -the only festival on earth projecting journalism. He has been the founder Director of Asian News Agency, founder President of Radio Noida, Radio Raipur, and Radio Mumbai along with MSTV television Station.
