Noida: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), in association with the AAFT School of Journalism, commemorated Hindi Patrakarita Diwas on 30th May with great enthusiasm and reverence at Marwah Studios, Film City, Noida. The occasion celebrated the rich legacy, contribution, and remarkable journey of Hindi journalism, which has played a pivotal role in informing society, shaping public opinion, and strengthening the democratic fabric of India.

The event brought together media professionals, journalists, academicians, students, and members of the communication fraternity to reflect on the evolution and impact of Hindi journalism over the past two centuries.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, renowned journalist, filmmaker, media educator, and President of AAFT School of Journalism, highlighted the immense contribution of Hindi journalism in promoting awareness, social reform, national unity, and democratic values.

“Hindi journalism has been a powerful voice of the people and a strong pillar of Indian democracy. Noida, India: An enriching cinematic and educational experience was आयोजित at Marwah Studios, where AAFT hosted a special screening of the award-winning documentary “Bhupen Da Uncut…”. The event brought together film enthusiasts, students, and industry professionals for an inspiring celebration of meaningful cinema.

The screening was followed by an engaging and interactive workshop conducted by acclaimed filmmaker Bobbeeta Sharma and noted film director Ravindra Badgaitan. The session provided valuable insights into documentary filmmaking, storytelling techniques, and the creative process behind impactful cinema.

Noida: The AAFT School of Mass Communication and Journalism proudly hosted a vibrant Diwali Mela, showcasing cultural programs designed and executed by its talented students. The event was filled with energy and festive spirit, featuring a colorful array of attractions including game stalls, food stalls, dances, and musical performances.

The festival was organized at Noida Film City, and Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of AAFT, inaugurated the event. While addressing the students, Dr. Marwah expressed his admiration for the creativity and dedication displayed by the AAFTians. “I am impressed by the presentations by our students. The occasion was commemorated with the launch of a special poster, unveiled by the entire team of the AAFT School of Mass Communication and Journalism during a ceremony held at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City.

New Delhi: ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with AAFT University presented today a webinar where more than 100 journalists participated from all over India to discuss the role of journalists in covid 19.

“We have thanked many times   the doctors, nurses, hospital staff, police forces, para military forces , safai Karamcharies but forgotten to salute journalist who are covering this pandemic every minute by taking risk of their life. This webinar is here to salute and extend the gratitude to every journalist involved with the reporting of Covid 19,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President ICMEI and Marwah Studios initiating the webinar.

“Our sole purpose is to make young journalist realized that no profession is easy and every hard work putting in your work will definitely be appreciated, the scale can be different,” added Dr. Sushil Bharti Broadcasting Director of Marwah Studios.

“No doubt that reporting is a tough job , but it is also important to recognize the participation of  all those who are working behind the scene. The risk is equal to all- health wise as well as responsibility wise,” said Ravi Parashar Senior Journalists, been active in journalism for 30 years and has played his innings in Navbharat times, TVI, Zee News, Aaj Tak and Sahara TV. He has written more than thousand articles..

“People actually forget that the role of journalists is very difficult on the location itself.  What and how he has to report, depends upon his balanced observations, unbiased decisions and human emotions which  are working together at the same time,” added Anil Pandey been in journalism for twenty years and has worked for Jansatta, Star News, The Sunday Indian, and has been known as social activist.

“A Photograph is equal to thousand words, probably every one knows but how to make that picture speak is an art and it comes with experience. One picture can change the perception of any detailed writeup,” added Mohammad Safeeq Senior Photo Journalist for 30 years now specialized in sports coverage. He is one of the most well travelled photojournalist to cover games all over the World.

 Guest speakers later answered many questions asked by the young journalists and students of mass communication from AAFT University.

London: “We are the only festival of this kind in the World where Good journalism is promoted on a Global scale. The 8th edition of Global Festival of Journalism is going to be on 12th to 14th February, 2020 at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida,” announced Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of the Festival with International press at Hotel Dorchester, London.

The 8th edition is going to have large number of workshops by renowned journalists, seminars on the current topics, discussion on social subjects, interactions on current affairs, symposiums on mediums of media, Screening of documentaries, entertainment programs and book releases.

“The main attraction of the event is going to be the presentation of newly constituted ‘Mahatma Gandhi National Award For Journalism’ at the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi- Father of the Nation sponsored by Mahatma Gandhi Forum & AAFT University, which will be another grand function in series,” added Dr. Marwah.

New Delhi: Renowned media person Sandeep Marwah once again been honored and appreciated for his deep contribution to the field of journalism at the 27th annual function of NAI- News Paper Association of India at Convention Centre at NDMC building.

Sandeep Marwah is the founder of Noida Film City, Marwah Studios and promoter of one of the best Journalism Schools in the World-AAFT School of Mass Communication & Journalism. He is the instrument in announcing ‘12th February as The International Day Of Journalism’. He is the editor of 24hours Radio Station- Radio Noida 107.4FM and a TV Station MSTV.

“He is the president of Global Festival of Journalism- The biggest journalism festival on this earth. Dr. Marwah is the producer of largest number of short films in the World,” announced Vipin Gaur Secretary General of NAI.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, now Chief Scout For India, is the Patron to NAI and is associated with organization from last 26 years. The management team of NAI presented the award to Sandeep Marwah. Later Sandeep Marwah presented awards to the most prominent people of the society and selected journalists for their sincere contribution.

H.E. Farod Arziev Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India was the chief guest. Former Chief Minister of Uttrakhand Harish Rawat, Raj K.P. Sinha National Commissioner For India at The Scouts/Guides Organization, B.L.Gaur Chairman of Gaur City Noida, Sunil Dang Former Member of the Prasar Bharati , President NAI Surya Bhan were also there.
