The release ceremony was graced by eminent personalities from the media and entertainment industry including Komal Nahata, Veteran Journalist and Renowned Trade Analyst; Kashish Rajput, Renowned Actress; Aman Srivastava, Singer; Purnima, Anchor; Himadari Dave, Renowned Model; and Aishwariya Bisht, Fashion Blogger, who all appreciated the quality and depth of the festival publication.

The festival newsletter was published continuously for all three days of the Global Film Festival, covering key events, screenings, workshops, celebrity interactions, panel discussions, and cultural highlights, making it a comprehensive daily record of the festival’s vibrant activities.

AAFT School of Journalism Pays Tribute to Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi on His Birth Anniversary

Noida, October 26 – The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), in collaboration with AAFT School of Mass Communication and Journalism, commemorated the birth anniversary of the legendary journalist Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City. The event honored Vidyarthi’s legacy as a pioneering voice for truth and justice in journalism.

Reflecting on Vidyarthi’s contributions, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios, remarked, “Journalism is rooted in truth, and the role of a journalist is to report honestly and impartially. This is the invaluable lesson that Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi has imparted to us all.”

Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi began his career as a clerk and teacher before immersing himself in journalism and politics. In 1913, he founded Pratap, a Hindi weekly that became a platform for voicing the struggles of oppressed peasants, workers, and marginalized communities. His efforts went beyond journalism as he also translated Victor Hugo’s novel Ninety-Three into Hindi, bridging cultural and social narratives.

New Delhi: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chancellor of AAFT University, inaugurated the 78th session on the “Need for Positive and Constructive Journalism in India.” Organized by RJS Media under the leadership of Uday K. Manna, this seminar took place at the Ramakrishna Mission in New Delhi, focusing on the critical role of media in fostering positivity and constructive narratives.

Reflecting on three decades of dedication to promoting positive media, Dr. Marwah emphasized, “For thirty years, we at the International Journalism Centre have steadfastly believed in the power of positive and constructive media. We have successfully brought together over 40,000 media professionals who share this commitment to supporting good work in society. At AAFT School of Journalism, we continue to emphasize the importance of positive and constructive media.”

The event saw the participation of Swami Sarvalokanand Ji Maharaj, Secretary General of Ramakrishna Mission, who encouraged journalists to embrace positivity in their work and contribute to the nation’s development across business, profession, art, and culture.

Round Table Conference on Education and Globalisation at Marwah Studios

Noida: ICMEI (International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry), in association with Dr. Radhakrishnan Forum, organised a round table conference on “Education and Globalization” on the occasion of the 48th Founders Day of Noida and the 47th death anniversary of Sarvepalli Dr. Radhakrishnan. The conference aimed to discuss and deliberate on the impact of globalization on education and how the education system can adapt to the changing global scenario.

The conference was attended by eminent educationists, scholars, policymakers, and experts in the field of education. The keynote speakers included Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI, and Diwakar Sukul of World Book of Records London, Mike Berry from Universal Studios USA, Zena Chung from South Korea, Satnam Deuchakar from UAE, Christopher Daruwala from Mumbai, among others.

He emphasized that journalism is a powerful tool that can influence public opinion and shape the course of events, but it comes with great responsibility.

Goyal urged the students to maintain the highest ethical standards in their reporting and avoid sensationalism and biases. He also highlighted the need for journalists to remain objective and independent, and to prioritize accuracy and factual reporting.
