CEGR Board Nominated Sandeep Marwah Mentor to Organization
New Delhi: The closing meeting of the managing committee of CEGR- Center for Education Growth and Research for the year 2022 was quite impressive, where Ravish Roshan Director CEGR read the yearly report of the work done round the year, under the leadership of President Sandeep Marwah also Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah gave the closing remarks and thanked everyone present there for their sincere cooperation during his year of Presidency. He also emphasised on the quality education and requested to add new ways of teaching as Indian Higher Education might have to compete with the foreign Universities as per the Government decision.
He also asked the leaders in education to implement New Education Policy as soon as possible and be ready to bring change into the system. The popularity of the President forced him to speak for more time and persuaded him to recite some meaningful poetry like every time.
The board nominated Dr. Sandeep Marwah as the Mentor to the organisation. Dr. Marwah is now also on the board of AICTE, Ministry of Education, Government of India and on Board of Bureau of Indian Standard, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Government of India.

“Indian Film Industry is the biggest film Industry in the World. We make around 2000 films in 28 languages in a year. 5 billion tickets we have been selling during the year We have ten thousand theatres. Approximately ten million people are working in this media and entertainment industry and this industry is supporting another ten million people from different industry. During recent years more than hundred OTT Channels have been part of this business,” informed Sandeep Marwah also President International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry.

Dr Narwal is an entrepreneur with interests in Artificial Intelligence, health care, education and innovative environmental & transport technologies.
Currently, is a magnet for innovation in Europe and is promoting several innovative Environmental initiatives in Wind power, Water Sanitation, waste to energy and environment friendly public transportation in India and several countries in Africa.
Dr Narwal is also an active campaigner for Malaria Eradication and is collaborating with global organisations to promote innovative and unique products to help eradicate the disease. He is a member of the prestigious European Economic Senate to promote Trade and Culture and is the first ‘Asian Economic Senator’ with the organisation.
His an expert in inter-governmental and cross-country business, who is specialized in the interconnection between private sector and ESG markets India-EU. He is an advisor to European think tank on different aspects inside BRICS and G20 – especially G20 India 2022.
He is on the advisory board of two major think tanks in Europe and is a speaker on promotion of environmental and educational technologies. He was honoured with the prestigious Bharat Gaurav Award in British Parliament on 13th April 2018.

The AICTE has delegated to the concerned state governments powers to process and grant approval of new institutions, starting new courses and variations in the intake capacity for diploma level technical institutions. It also lays down norms and standards for such institutions. It also ensures quality development of technical education through accreditation of technical institutions or programmes.
In additional to its regulatory role, the AICTE also has a promotional role which it implements through schemes for promoting technical education for women, handicapped and weaker section of the society promoting innovations, faculty, research and development, giving grants to technical institutions.
“The technical institutions under the AICTE include post-graduate, under-graduate and diploma in the whole spectrum of technical education covering engineering/technology, pharmacy, architecture, hotel management and catering technology, management studies computer applications and applied arts and crafts,” added Dr. Marwah who is also on the board of Applied Arts of AICTE
The AICTE has its headquarters in New Delhi and seven regional offices located at Kolkata, Chennai, Kanpur, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Bhopal and Bangalore. A new regional office at Hyderabad has been set up and is to be operational soon.
National and International Writers at 7th Writers Meet
Noida: “Writing is an art and a craft that needs to be developed through deliberate practice and study over a long period of time. If you don’t have time to read, you don’t have the time to write also- that’s what I have learned. If there’s a book that you want to read, but it hasn’t been written yet, then you must write it and be a part of our mission at Writers Meet,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Writers Association of India addressing writers from all over India and abroad during the 7th annual writer’s meet at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City.
“Fortunately, some of the world’s greatest writers, the ones who mastered the craft and whose names have been passed down to us through time, gifted us not only with their stories. Many of them took time in-between the creation of their novels and short stories and poems to codify their writing philosophies, their writing strategies, and their writing habits,” added Dr. Marwah while releasing two of the books including Shabdon Ke Indradhanush by Mamta Soni and Bandhu Ke Mukh by Pratibha Johri.
Sushil Bharti Secretary of Writers Association of India welcomed everyone and narrated the reasons of formation of this powerful body. He also mentioned the series of events and book releases happened during the last year.
Renowned writers Dr. Mahesh Chandra Shukla presented a copy of his works on epic Ramayana and persuaded to promote Indian literature. Dr. Rupa Singh highlighted the difficulties writers are facing from writing to publication & marketing.
Former Prof. with Jamia Milia Islamia Dr. M.P. Sharma talked about the role of research in better and authentic writing works. Kaushal Kumar Deputy Commissioner in Ministry of Water requested writers to also touch the technical subjects to make our generation little more aware of progress of this nation.
Veteran RSS worker Dr Dinesh Upadhyay expressed the importance of our Indian culture, traditions and powerful history which has been moulded according to the wishes of our rulers. President of International Hindi Samiti USA Inderjeet Sharma informed the house about the promotion of Hindi language in foreign nations.
General Secretary of Surya Sansthan Devendra Mittal and many other writers expressed their views during meet. The event was supported by International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry and AAFT University of Media and Arts.
10th CEGR Higher Education Summit Inaugurated in New Delhi
