Marwah Studios Presented International Award for Excellence in Journalism at 9th GFJN

Thirty Years of Marwah Studios Celebrated 

New Delhi: Lots of discussions, suggestions and expressions came out when the journalists from different parts of the World spoke about the new ways & new policies in this post covid era in the field of Journalism.

Pandemic has taught us many new things. The patterns and systems have changed. Some have gained and some have lost the jobs, business, relations, emotions, wealth. The world has become health conscious. Work from home , social distancing, mask on the face, eating habits, living style every thing has taken a new shape,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah initiating the program.

“We are proud that we have completed thirty years in media and Marwah Studios has constituted this new award-International Award For Excellence In Journalism for all those who all have done extremely well in the profession of journalism, presentation and documentary film making,” added Marwah.

HRH Princess Angelique Monet from United Kingdom, Sahar Zama journalist and presenter from India, Vinod Agnihotri senior Journalist and media consultant from India, Bensoudha Mohammed Ahed Documentary Film Maker from Morocco now in France congratulated on the 9th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2021 online and expressed their views on how journalism and media activities have taken a new shape in this new World.

Dr. Abu Jazer, Counsellor, Palestine Embassy,  Szeszler Szilvia, Journalist from Hungary,  Imanov Vugar Elbrus, Journalist from Azerbaijan,  Angelique Monet Journalist from USA,  Akira Prell Journalist from USA, Dr. Waeil S H Awwad Journalist from Syria,  Mahfzur Rehman from Bangladesh and Saeid Kafi Anarcki from Iran were presented with Marwah Studios International Award for Excellence in Journalism.

Bensoudha Mohammed Ahed Filmmaker from France, Jehan Farouk Al-Husseini USA, Alex Kirby of United Kingdom,  Naveed Aqel Journalist & Lecturer Afghanistan, Shambu Pokharel from Nepal, Nick Gifford Documentary Film Maker from France, Paresh Rughani Presenter from UK, Lalit Sodha from UK and S. Venkat Narayan President The Foreign Correspondents Club of South Asia also spoke and received their prestigious International Award.

The event was supported by International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry, AAFT University of Media And Arts, International Public Broadcasting Forum. Dr. Marwah thanked everyone for their presence  and association with International Journalism Centre.

Citizen Journalist Awards to 21 Women on International Journalism Day

New Delhi: “This is the first time that Marwah studios has constituted an award for Citizen Journalist on the occasion of 30 years of Marwah Studios. Idea is to honor those women who have adapted journalism even though they are busy with their own profession. Some of the women are in education, luxury consultancy, event management, social work, performing artists, fine artists, charted accountant, scientists but tried to entertain and kept busy thousands of people during pandemic,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

“What a great idea to celebrate women’s capabilities and capacities. Not many people think like that. I must congratulate each and every woman on getting such a prestigious award and all my best wishes to Dr. Marwah for creating women empowerment. The embassy of Panama supports this endeavor,” said H.E. Yasiel A Burillo R Ambassador of Panama to India.

“Dr. Marwah is the Show Man of India. Every event at Global Festival of Journalism has added to the total grandeur of the festival. Not only Marwah speaks but proves it by becoming an example himself. There is lot to learn from his experience. Mobile phone has enough features to work for the peace too,” said Peter Ferris Journalist and film maker from United Kingdom.

“It is important to rise above your own self and start thinking for the society. Citizen journalism is the best way to keep your community informed and alert in the fastest way,” added Manuel Freire Garabal Lawyer and Journalist from United Kingdom.

Lubna Asif Editor Indino, Priti Tripathi Senior Journalist from Madya Pradesh, S.S. Dogra columnist, Vipin Gaur Secretary General News Paper Association of India so expressed their views on Women Empowerment, Women Journalist and Citizen Journalism.

The event was supported by International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry, AAFT University of Media And Arts, World Peace Development And Research Foundation. The award function was covered by International Journalism Centre and Asian News Agency.

MSTV, Radio Noida and Radio Raipur offered interviews to the awardees.

9th Global Festival Discussed Prospects of Print and TV Journalism

Noida: India is the only country where in this age of digitization new Newspapers have been given license to publish in different languages. Yes the literacy is increasing in India which is a good sign. On the other hand, many newspapers had to see the dark side of the moon and closed down. On one side new TV Channels are applying for license but older ones are packing up their business,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of the festival on the first day of Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2021 online initiating the discussion and celebrating International Journalism Day

“Global festival of Journalism is a wonderful platform for all of us belonging to diplomatic corps. It has given us an international exposure towards journalism in relation to India, where we are based. I wish all the success to the festival,” said H.E. Muhammed Cengic Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to India.  

“Social media has taken over the traditional media be it a print or television. These newspapers and channels have to look for high quality of information and programming to reestablish their creditability and viewership and readership. The exclusive coverage is required,” said H.E. Marjan Cencen Ambassador of Slovenia to India.

Puneet Khare senior Journalist from Mumbai, Kumar Rakesh Senior Journalist, Raman Pandey Group Editor India News World, Mohammad Azad Editor In Chief Jai Hind Janab, Mukesh Tyagi Spokes Person for BJP, R.P.Raghuvanshi Editor In Chief of Chetna Manch also expressed their views on the subject and covered many important points while talking to the large ordiance.

A poster of Shaheed Bhagat Singh was released to remember his contribution to the independence movement of the nation. A new bulletin PEHEL prepared by the students of AAFT School of Mass Communication And Journalism was also presented for release.

9th Global Festival of Journalism Inaugurated on International Journalism Day

New Delhi: International Journalism Centre was created to bring love, peace and unity through journalism. IJC also shaped 12th February as the International Journalism Day and to mark respect to this auspicious day a Global Festival of Journalism was launched way back in 2012 informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Global Festival of Journalism.

“The responsibility of the journalist is bigger than any other citizen of the country. What you write or show as news definitely effects the minds and hearts of people. Never over exaggerate to create sensation in the community. Journalism can bring    lots of love peace and unity if it is handled properly,” said Lt. Gen. K.M. Seth the former Governor of Chhattisgarh on the inauguration of 9th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2021 but this time online.

I congratulate IJC and ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry for such an exclusive international event covering almost all the countries of the World. I am happy that I am part of this inauguration function where love Peace and Unity is discussed which is need of the hour,” said Lino Irene Molise Mabusela High Commissioner of Lesotho Kingdom.

“We need not to change the definition of Journalism. Let journalist be the real informer of news. You lose love, peace and unity when wrong reporting is done without research. Lets join together to create a better world through simple representation of facts and not false news,” added Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra Chancellor of Shobhit University.

“Journalism teaching and learning needs a very cautious attention. There is a huge difference between just a writer and the journalist, and the distinction is awareness &   responsibility,” said Prof. K.G. Suresh Senior Journalist and Vice Chancellor of Makkhanlal Chaturvedi University.

Giving examples of wrong and propagative reporting Mohd. Ali Rabbani Cultural Counselor of Embassy of Iran expressed that journalism is not only the oldest but most responsible profession on earth.

Asian News Agency Join Hands With 9th Global festival of Journalism

New Delhi: IJC-International Journalism Centre has again joined hands with ANA-Asian News Agency for the forth coming 9th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2021 to cover all the ten major events during this most exclusive festival.

12th February will be celebrated as International Journalism Day, 13th February will be celebrated as World Radio Day and 14th as Valentine’s Day. All these days there will be around 10 different seminars where discussions will take place on the current subjects.

The festival will be also be seeing the launching of new Radio Station-Radio Raipur on 13th February on the auspicious moments of World Radio Day. Three very important personalities and leaders of the country i.e. Sardar Vallabhai Patel, Shaheed Bhagat Singh and Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi will be given homage during three days of the festival.

 Major award functions presentation of -Newly constituted Citizen’s Award, Marwah Studios International Award for Excellence In Journalism and now well established Mahatma Gandhi National Award for Journalism will take place on three different days.

“More than sixty countries are participating in the festival and around 500 media houses have given their consent to cover this international event,” confirmed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of 9th Global Festival of Journalism.
