New Delhi:— In a significant recognition of his efforts to enhance bilateral relations, Sandeep Marwah, founder of Marwah Studios and Chair for the Indo Mauritius Film and Cultural Forum, was honored by a delegation from Mauritius led by Senate Dr. Bhavish Jugurnath. The ceremony took place at Marwah Studios, underscoring the ongoing commitment to fostering deeper ties between India and Mauritius.

During the event, Marwah was applauded for his role in promoting cultural exchange and business relations between the two nations. He assured that the Indo Mauritius Film and Cultural Forum would continue to provide an expansive platform for collaboration in various sectors.

NEW DELHI, INDIA – In a significant move towards fostering cultural ties, the Indo Mauritius Film and Cultural Forum was ceremoniously launched at the High Commission of Mauritius. The event was spearheaded by H.E. Haymandoyal Dillum, the High Commissioner of Mauritius to India, marking a robust beginning for the platform.

The idea of starting Indo Mauritius Cultural Forum was generated when Dr. Sandeep Marwah met the former Prime Minister of Mauritius Dr. Anerood Jagnauth during his visit to India and briefed him about the activities in relations to Mauritius at Marwah Studios.

The country of Mauritius has been a regular participant in all the  international events, festivals, summits we have been organising from time to time. Indo Mauritius Film and Cultural Forum has grown big in all these years.

“We have been inviting delegates from Mauritius in every important event, we have been conduction in past, from so many years. We are happy that Mauritius has been participating on every occasion be it Global Media Summit, Global Fashion Summit, International Cellphone Cinema Festival, Global Film, journalism or literary Festival,” added Dr. Marwah.

ICMEI is also looking for the formal inauguration of Indo Mauritius Film And Cultural Forum where the management planned number of events to develop and promote relation between the two countries.

ICMEI Celebrated Mauritius National Day at AAFT

National Day of Mauritius Celebrated at AAFT


Noida: International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry celebrated the National Day of Mauritius, which falls on 12th March, with the students of Media of Asian Academy of Film And Television at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City.

Three projects were launched for research including Cinema in Mauritius, Mass Communication and Journalism of Mauritius and Fashion And Design Industry of Mauritius. Three projects were handed over to the students of AAFT and Asian School of Media Studies under their director’s guidance.

“I on behalf of Media And Entertainment Industry of India extend my heartiest congratulations to the High Commission of Mauritius to India and the people of country on this auspicious day. May friendship between the two countries remain best for ever,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

National Day in Mauritius annually falls on March 12. It celebrates the day, when the country gained independence from the United Kingdom in 1968 and the Republic of Mauritius was formed in 1992.Mauritius became a British colony in 1810.
