New Delhi: Books are the best companions of man. Every poetry book is a collection item for the reader. What you cannot spell out to others, what you cannot teach to others for months together you can teach them with few lines of poetry. Poetry touches your heart instantly. It is faster than any injection,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts at the book release titled “Prakiriti aur Bhavnai” (Nature and Emotions) written by Jasbir Kaur at Hindi Bhawan.

Thanking Amit Kaur Puri for inviting him to function he said,” Books are the ready source of knowledge. Once should take an opportunity to go through even the few pages of any book of your liking, in a day, to enhance your knowledge. The compartment of learning in your head should always be open,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah also President of Marwah Studios Noida Film City.

Expressing about his love for Literature he informed the house about the Global Literature Festival Noida which has emerged as one of the biggest literature festivals of the country. Later Amit Kaur Puri and Jasbir Puri honored Dr. Marwah with memento and presented him few books for his collection.

New Delhi: “A room without books is like a body without soul, If you ask me where is paradise then I can say comfortably it is in Books Library. Books are the most loyal friends. Books are in real sense a portable Magic. If there is a book that you want to read and not been written yet, then it is time that you should write the book,” said Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and Chancellor AAFT University at the release of book Quest written by Aditya Raj Kapoor at AAFT University of Media and Arts.

“I am amazed by the writing skills of Aditya. I know him from RK Studios when we both were assisting Raj Kapoor. He has gathered much larger experience in lot many fields and now very well-travelled round the World as biker. No experience can be compared to travel. I congratulate Aditya for a successful launching of the book,” said Rahul Rawail renowned film director from Mumbai.

“The best expression comes automatically when you start writing. You do recollect all instances, happenings, interactions, and special quotes spoken by people you have registered during your travel. I am lucky that my book was released on the same platform few months back at ICMEI and now I am here to release the book,” said Anant Mahadeven ­–­­­­­popular producer, director actor recollecting his old association with Aditya.

“I am thankful to AAFT and Sandeep Marwah for the wonderful event today. I have learned while moving around the World that human emotions and requirements are same wherever you meet people of the World. Everyone is hunting for pleasure and peace. You must indulge in those activities where you get spiritual pleasure. New Delhi: ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry takes this pleasure and honor in releasing the first ever book on Indian Television titled- ‘Once Upon A Prime Time’ written by National Award Winning Actor Director Ananth Mahadevan in he presence of bigwigs of Indian film and television industry,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts.

“Whenever you read a good book, somewhere in the world a door opens to allow in more light. I would stop reading a book if it were possible for me to talk half an hour with the man who wrote it and the day has come when I am interacting with this great show man- Ananth Mahadevan,” added Dr. Marwah also President ICMEI.

“The book is in all probability, the first ever story of Indian television. Besides taking one down memory lane, this could be a throw-back for all those connected with the medium, past and present,” expressed Ananth Mahadevan addressing more than 100 guests on webinar.

Dream Girl Hema Malini has written the foreword of the book. Ananth Mahadevan records the memoirs of his journey on Indian television. From first hand experiences with filmmakers who were the founding fathers of television serials to today's consumerism driven shows, he has tasted them all.

Present on the occasion renowned film director Rahul Rawail said, ”I am very happy to be here on this very auspicious function of Release of Book of Ananth, I extend my heartiest congratulations to him for this great venture,” Anand Mahendru a well known television director recollected his interactions with Ananth during making of his television programs.

Popular director Pankaj Parashar said,” You can’t buy happiness, but you can buy books and that’s kind of the same thing”. He informed how simple were the days of early filmmaking. Writer Director Aziz Mirza, blessed Ananth and asked him to be ready with the next edition immediately.

The book OUAPT incorporates exclusive moments and incidents with many celebrities and award-winning directors. He joins the actors on their sets as they perform for television and learns about the stories that made the shows come to life. Covering artistes and makers who impacted our world, such as Amitabh Bachchan, Hrishikesh Mukherjee, Sai Paranjpye, Basu Chatterjee, Kundan Shah, Ravi Chopra, Ramesh Sippy, Farouque Shaikh, Gulzar and Govind Nihalani.

New Delhi: The Vice President of India Shri M Venkaiah Naidu today urged people to place national interest at the center of their actions and not to indulge in violence.

Addressing the gathering after releasing the book “ Turbulence and Triumph – The Modi Years” written by Rahul Agarwal and Bharti S Pradhan at Uparashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi today, he said that while dissent was the basic quality of democracy, people must follow peaceful, democratic methods and function according to the spirit of the Constitution.

Observing that unity, safety, integrity and sovereignty of the nation were of paramount importance, the Vice President said that people must move forward in a constructive and positive manner. He said people should not do anything that would be detrimental to the image of the country.

New Delhi: Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios was the special guest at the launching of book ‘Sridevi:  The Eternal Screen Goddess written by Satyarth Nayak. by Boney Kapoor and Deepika Padukone at Habitat Centre during Literary festival.

While speaking about her initial days in Bollywood, the actress shared that Boney Kapoor and Sridevi are the real champions of her work. She also remembered the days when Sridevi used to send her personalized messages for every film that she did and praise her for her performances. The actress candidly said that most people do not know about her bond with Sridevi but she was a person that Deepika was fond of, at a personal level.

New Delhi: A book on Astrology-‘Garhon Ka Sabhav Aur Jeevan Par Prabhav’ was jointly released by Dr. Sandeep Marwah and Dr. Harsh Vardhan written by Pandit Virendra Sharma popularly known as Baba Ji a Raj Jyothshi at New Delhi organized by Harsh Anand of Sensationz Media.

“Indian culture and traditions are so strong that they can never vanished from this earth even though we are influenced badly by the western countries. People like Dr. Harshvardhan and Virendra Sharma can live upto any expectations of the people of this country as they are culturally very strong,” said Dr, Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts while releasing the book on astrology.

New edition of  The Bollywood Faces magazine published by Harsh Anand and Sucheta Anand was also launched from the same platform. Pandit Virendra Sharma paid his gratitude to the guests and presented the copy of the book to the dignitaries.

New DelhI:  A new book of a well known journalist and writer KumKum Chadha was released recently at India International Centre in the presence of who’s who of Delhi-The Capital City of Events.

It was a great pleasure to be present on such an important event where writer of the book is the hero of the day. It gives me enough confidence to promote the course in script and screen play writing at AAFT,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Education Group while personally collecting the copy from the writer.

Born in Delhi, Kumkum studied at Lady Shri Ram college from where she did her masters in English literature. After a short course in journalism she joined Hindustan Times Group where she continues to work. During the thirty odd years at Hindustan Times, Kumkum worked in different editorial positions including Editor National News. She is a popular blogger.

Kumkum has specialized in political reporting apart from reporting on crime and gender issues. She published her first book The Crucifixion: Interviews Where leaders nail themselves. This is a collection of her widely read interviews.

Crime reporting, on the other hand, drew her attention to the horrible conditions prevailing in Indian jails. This led to an in-depth study for her second book The Indian Jail: A contemporary document.

The third book The Ten Year File is a collection of some of Kumkum’s remarkable writings between1982 to1992. Here Kumkum mirrors the goings-on in Indian politics through in-depth stories and interviews with eminent leaders.

“I am humbled by the presence of all the important people I invited for the book release,” said KumKum Chadha.

New Delhi: Famous yoga exponent and author, Mansi Gulati launched her book, ‘Yoga and Mindfulness’ recently. The book was launched by the Vice President of India, M. Venkaiah Naidu amidst the presence of Member of Parliament from the Rajya Sabha, Dr. Sonal Mansingh and Member of Parliament from the Lok Sabha Manoj Tewari, at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Conference Hall, Vice President’s House.

Mansi Gulati addressed the audience and spoke about the benefits of yoga. She said her book ‘Yoga and Mindfulness’ revolves around the fact that yoga, is not mere asanas, but anything you do with mindfulness and dedication is yoga.

Vice President, M Venkaiah Naidu advised the youth to shun a sedentary lifestyle, junk food and stay healthy and also called upon people to make yoga an integral part of their daily routine to combat lifestyle diseases which have acquired menacing proportions. He stressed that yoga would help in combating severe stress, lifestyle diseases and helps the overall well-being of an individual.

“We have been associated with Yoga from last twenty five years and have trained more than 10,000 persons from more than 100 countries to believe in the art of yoga at Asian Academy of Film And Television. Noida: Justice G.S. Sasthani of Delhi High Court released the first book of poetry written by Punesh Anand in a grand function at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City.

“The art of writing is the expression of your thoughts and feelings. The poetry book of Punesh Anand has added a lot to the literature when people are forgetting to write. I hope he continues to write and would love to be the part of his second book launching function too,” said Justice G.S. Sasthani while releasing the book Nichod.

“I   have been appreciating Punesh Anand for his art of writing, he has reached to the stage where he has started talking in poetry. I have understood that he must be given an opportunity to come in public with his talent,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

“I am amazed and surprised by the organizing capacity of Marwah Studios who all have not only identified me out of crowd but also published my work in no time. From No where to Some Where-this is life. I am thankful to each and every one who has helped me in reaching to this platform and declaring me a Poet,” added Punesh Anand emotionally.

Sushil Bharti analyzed the poetry in detail and also read few of them in public. Mrs Maniderpreet Sasthani and Harsh Anand also spoke on the occasion.
