New Delhi: Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios was the special guest at the launching of book ‘Sridevi:  The Eternal Screen Goddess written by Satyarth Nayak. by Boney Kapoor and Deepika Padukone at Habitat Centre during Literary festival.

While speaking about her initial days in Bollywood, the actress shared that Boney Kapoor and Sridevi are the real champions of her work. She also remembered the days when Sridevi used to send her personalized messages for every film that she did and praise her for her performances. The actress candidly said that most people do not know about her bond with Sridevi but she was a person that Deepika was fond of, at a personal level.

Deepika said that it is her honor to unveil the book on Sridevi's life as she was not just a celebrated actress, but also one of her most favorite person on earth and she shared a good bond with her. Deepika said that she feels honored that the family gave her an opportunity to launch Sridevi's book.

“I am amazed by the collection of information and pictures by Satyarth who had spent quite some time in creating a beautiful set of memories,” said Sandeep Marwah who was present there with Gauri Shinde, writer Rumi Jafri and President Stefano Ricci India Jackie Manglani.

Sridevi Remembered at Marwah Studios With Great Honor



 
Sridevi Remembered at Marwah Studios

 Noida: On 9th March, a prayer ceremony was held at Marwah Studios, Film City, Noida, in remembrance of the legendary actress Sridevi. She has served as the Board of Directors of Marwah Studio and was a kin to Marwah family as well.

Sadly, on 24th Feb. 2018, due to accidental drowning in the bath tub after loosing her consciousness at a hotel in Dubai, she left us towards her heavenly abode. All the members of the Marwah Studio including the Faculty, Staff and the Students gathered to pay homage to the departed soul. A two minute silence was observed followed by a short video showcasing some clips of Sridevi's terrific performances and views for her given by her co-stars like Anil Kapoor, Jitender and Rishi Kapoor.


"Sridevi was an outstanding actress who has made a terrific mark in the history by serving the film industry for  50 long years. Not only I have lost a family member, but film industry has lost one of it's most beautiful and talented gem, I pray that all good things that were in her mind, get accomplished and may the paragonic beauty rest in peace.", said Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Education Group.

He also announced a scholarship by Sridevi's name to be launched and a retrospective of her movies at Marwah Studio in the coming days as a gesture of respect towards her. The lady superstar, the very versatile and talented actress, Padmashree Awardee, who entertained the entire globe for 50 long years, will always be alive in our hearts. Her work has made her eternal.

Mr India Will Be Shown During 3rd Global Film Festival




The film which is directly related to Children Mr India is the entry for screening at 3rd Global Film Festival Noida 2010 from 12th to 14th November at festival venue at Noida Film City.

“Even though the film Mr India has been screened so many times in different channels, the children still have great craze for this film” said Sandeep Marwah President of the festival.” This film has been all time hit of Director Shekhar Kapoor and Producer Boney Kapoor” Marwah added.

I wanted to be at the festival for all three days but I have to be out of India for official work” said Boney Kapoor. “I have realized that the reaction of the Children is same after seeing the movie all these years” said Sridevi who is also out of India at the time of Festival.

Other films which are going to be screened in the festival are Nitobeh (Japan), Blue Umbrella (India), 400 Blows (France), Ivan’s Childhood (Russia), The Bicycle Thief (Italy), Baduk (Iran), Mouchette (France), Kirikou Et La Sorciere (France), Bellisemia (Italy), The Spirit of The Beehive (Spain) and many more.
