A book by Aditya Raj Kapoor Launched at AAFT Platform

New Delhi: “A room without books is like a body without soul, If you ask me where is paradise then I can say comfortably it is in Books Library. Books are the most loyal friends. Books are in real sense a portable Magic. If there is a book that you want to read and not been written yet, then it is time that you should write the book,” said Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and Chancellor AAFT University at the release of book Quest written by Aditya Raj Kapoor at AAFT University of Media and Arts.

“I am amazed by the writing skills of Aditya. I know him from RK Studios when we both were assisting Raj Kapoor. He has gathered much larger experience in lot many fields and now very well-travelled round the World as biker. No experience can be compared to travel. I congratulate Aditya for a successful launching of the book,” said Rahul Rawail renowned film director from Mumbai.

“The best expression comes automatically when you start writing. You do recollect all instances, happenings, interactions, and special quotes spoken by people you have registered during your travel. I am lucky that my book was released on the same platform few months back at ICMEI and now I am here to release the book,” said Anant Mahadeven ­–­­­­­popular producer, director actor recollecting his old association with Aditya.

“I am thankful to AAFT and Sandeep Marwah for the wonderful event today. I have learned while moving around the World that human emotions and requirements are same wherever you meet people of the World. Everyone is hunting for pleasure and peace. You must indulge in those activities where you get spiritual pleasure. I left all my jobs, business, and the most glamourous industry to go around the World on bike to gather a new experience of life,” said Aditya Raj Kapoor writer of QUEST thanking and paying gratitude to everyone he has met during his trip.

The foreword of the book is written by Producer Actor Jackie Shroff.  Words of expression has been contributed by Vlaadmir Dementev from House of Russian Culture Centre, Lt. Col. 4th Edition of Hindi Cinema Samman Announced for 28th November

Mumbai: HINDI CINEMA SAMMAN SAMAROH was initiated under the Chairmanship of Shri Shatrughan Sinha on 12th November 2017 at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi to accord national recognition to Hindi Cinema aka Bollywood for uniting and integrating the nation by popularising Hindi as the link language of India and by evolving a pan-Indian culture by combining the best elements from all the regional cultures of India and for flying the flag of Indian culture and civilisation high all over the world by the undisputed global popularity of Bollywood Cinema.

HINDI CINEMA SAMMAN SAMAROH was held successfully in 2017 with Hon’ble Shri Vijay Kumar Goel, Union Minister as chief guest; in 2018 with Hon’ble Shri Vijay Sampla and Hon’ble Shri Satya Pal Singh, Union Ministers as chief guests and in 2019 with Hon’ble Shri Arif Mohammad Khan, Governor Kerala as Chief Guest informed Ashok Tyagi Secretary General of ICMEI. 

                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

Due to Covid 19 pandemic HINDI CINEMA SAMMAN SAMAROH 2020 will be held on virtual platform. The jury for the Hindi Cinema Samman Samaroh awards has been set up. It comprises of Former Union Minister and veteran Actor  Shatrughan Sinha (jury chairman), IMPPA- Indian Motion Picture Producers Association president T.P. Aggarwal, former chairman of the National Awards jury and senior Director Rahul Rawail, film financer & Producer Shyam Shroff, veteran journalist & editor Film Information Komal Nahta, FWICE- Federation of Western India Cine Employees president B.N. Tiwari, and  ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry president Sandeep Marwah. The jury is currently finalising the awardees for the virtual awards function which will be held on 28th November.

Noida:  A grand function was organized to release the first book on Sandeep Marwah under the title ‘A Walk In The Corridor of Eternity’ written by a young writer Shreeya Katyal on the third day of 12^th Global Film Festival Noida 2019 at Noida Film City.

“I extend my heartiest congratulations to Sandeep Marwah on the release of his first biography. He deserves this kind of grand function. He is a source of motivation for many. I wish him all the success in his forthcoming ventures,” said Arif Mohammad Khan Governor of Kerala while releasing the book.

“Though I am meeting him for the first time but I have heard enough about him. His contribution to the industry is par excellence,” said Priyadarshan a renowned film director from South.

“Not many people from film, television and media fraternity are that lucky to have a biography written on them. Sandeep is actually been always different from the crowd,” said Rahul Rawail film director and  advisor to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.

“Being written in a book, means part of the history. It is hard to believe               that single man can do so much to promote the industry,” added Muzaffar Ali a well-known producer, director writer, poet and fashion designer.

“Sandeep I know him for more than 20 years, he is a one person army. He has solution for every problem of the industry” said T.P. Agarwal Former President of FFI-Film Federation of India and President of IMPPA-Indian Motion Picture Producers Association.

“Never ever seen such a huge event for the release of a book and so many dignities at the same time. It is Sandeep Marwah’s love and affection that we all are here at the same time,” added B.N.Tewari president of FWICE- Federation of Western India Cine Employees.

Cannes: “It is not only important but essential to high light India- the biggest film industry of the World. We make 2000 films in 28 official languages. 12000 theatres and approximately 15 million people watch cinema every day. We sell 5 billion tickets in a year. You can imagine the size of the industry,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry talking to international press at India Pavilion at Cannes International Film Festival, France.

The Minister of State, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore at Cannes International Film Festival inaugurated the India Pavilion on the second day of festival.

Situated at the picturesque seaside shoreline adjacent to the gigantic Palais des Festivals building, the India Pavilion is an essential and crucial corner where the hundreds of Indian film professionals can gather to make their presence felt and also where people from abroad interested in India can converge to cement their business needs in India.

Renowned film director Rahul Rawail, Ketan Mehta and film consultant Bhuvan Lal were also present with Sandeep Marwah at the India Pavilion at Cannes Film Festival.

Noida: The management of AAFT organized a powerful workshop by a well-known film director Rahul Rawail for the students of school of Cinema at Marwah Studios at Noida Film City.

“AAFT has a big name now and it has attracted me to be here to share my experiences with young film makers. A well educated, trained and groomed student will always be more preferable than a raw hand,” said Rahul Rawail while interacting with students.

“We are lucky to have Rahul Rawail on our board, his advice matters as he has spent more than 50 years in the industry since his childhood,” said sAndeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

Rahul Rawail is an Indian film director in Bollywood known for his films like Love Story  (1981), Betaab (1983), Arjun (1985), Dacait (1987), Anjaam (1994), and Jo Bole So Nihaal (2005). He was nominated for Filmfare Award for Best Director twice. He started his carrier as assistant to Raj Kapoor.

Later Sandeep Marwah presented Rahul Rawail with the life membership of World Peace Development And Research Foundation.
