104th AAFT Festival of Short Films Honored Young Directors


Noida: We have created a World Record of not only producing   short films but also of show casing through AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films. I extend my heartiest congratulations to every one connected to Marwah Films And Video Productions & International Film And Television Club of Marwah Studios,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios at the inauguration of 104th AAFT Festival at Noida Film City.

Eleven films were awarded as different, experimental, innovative, touching, Social message, documentary etc. Sudhir Tondon former Director Doordarshan and founder Lok Sabha Television honored the directors of the films for their hard work.

Vaishali Valecha was honored for her short film DUAL DOMINATION, Pawan Kumar for DARD, Kushagra Nagpal for ILLEGAL, Harendra Pratap for EHSAAS, Anshuman Mishra for BLACK MAIL, Kushgara Nagpal again for APKA BETA SAQIB, Himanshu Kohli for IK MULAQAAT, Aman Kumar for JAIDAAT, Sanchit Tiwari for EK ADHURI MULAQAAT, Prabhat Kumar for SHIKSHA and Marina Zaffari honored for her documentary SALAAM NAMASTE- KABUL JAAN. All the films were screened during festival and appreciated by the audience.

Sudhir Tondon congratulated the institution in taking so much of pain in educating, training, filmmaking and screening of these students’ films in the festival. Aamir Abdullah Director School of Cinema conducted the program and Yogesh Mishra Dean paid vote of thanks.

Sumita Das educationist and social worker, Charu Das of CD Foundation, B.K.Sushant National Public Relation Officer of Brahma Kumari, Dr. Poonam Arora Film Educationist from USA, Sanjana Jon fashion Designer, Dr. G.L.Agarwal Finance Consultant, Anu Sinha renowned Classical Dancer and Raju Anthony of Human Rights Council were present on the occasion.

104th AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films Launched


104th Edition of AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films Launched


Noida: A small festival started with few films at AAFT- Asian Academy of Film And Television to showcase the debut films of few young directors way back in 1993 has taken a shape of a World class most exclusive film festival with many international records.

“AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films is the only festival which happens four times a year. The only festival to showcase only debut films of young directors, the only festival to touch the 104th edition, and only festival to present films for 2900 directors from more than 100 countries of the World,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT Festival at the opening of 104th edition of   the event.

Eleven films were short listed for the festival to present before the audience eagerly waiting to see the different concepts and ideas created by young filmmakers.

Cannes: Well known Indian Film, Television and Media personality Sandeep Marwah and producer of largest number of short films, was the Co-President of Jury for Global Short Film Awards Cannes  

Cannes Global Short Film Awards Gala and Luxury Fashion Shows is held during the world-famous Cannes International Film Festival. This was the fourth edition this time. Global Short Film Awards, established in 2015, recognizes excellence in short films less than 15 minutes long in a variety of subjects. 

“The competition is open to both amateur and professional filmmakers from around the world. The competition provides creative filmmakers with a platform to showcase their work thereby gaining exposure and recognition as well as connecting with decision makers in the industry for possible further business, distribution and purchase,” said Sandeep Marwah to the press at Hotel Intercontinental Carlton Cannes.

GSF Awards founder and director Andres Aquino identified this as an opportunity to combine top-notch fashion and entertainment while recognizing exceptional short films in a glitzy upscale event.

The international jet-set of royals, VIPs, celebrities, influencers, movers and shakers have embraced the GSF Awards Gala enthusiastically,  making it one of the most “don’t miss” events in Cannes. Top fashion models, international press and makeup and hair industry leaders also attended the event informed Sandeep Marwah.

New Delhi: Another feather in the cap of Sandeep Marwah when the management of Vajra records registered the World Record created by Sandeep Marwah in film production of Short Films in their books of World record.

“Sandeep Marwah is the only producer in the World who has produced till now 2300 short films from 5 minutes to 55 minutes and given opportunity to more than 10,000 film persons from more than 100 countries of the World. All these productions have taken place under the banner Marwah Films And Video Productions in last 25 years”.

Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Asian Education Group has been in films, television and media for almost 30 years.  Producing short films is his passion. The films contain all genre mostly social issues.

Marwah has been honored earlier on many platforms in India and abroad. His contribution to films, television and media is remarkable. He is chairing 100 different organizations to promote love, peace and unity through art and culture.
‘Vajra World Records’ is the Indian equivalent to the Guinness Book of World Records with emphasis on unique achievements of Indians within the country and abroad. It's a salute to all those Indians who want to do something different and be remembered for their distinctive deeds.

The idea of this kind of book strings together 'Indian' achievements originated in 1989, the objective was simple- to provide a platform to ordinary Indians to showcase their talent in their search for excellence.

Radio Noida Partners With 4th International Festival Of Cellphone Cinema




The most popular Radio Station of the city Noida-Radio Noida 107.4 FM joins hand with 4th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema to make this venture more popular among the young film makers and creative persons.

“Radio Noida has very humbly agreed to promote 4th IFCC which is going to take place in Noida itself” said C.R.Chabra, Radio Technical Head. A special program and RJ coverage has been planned to highlight this International event.

ICFF Supports 4th International Festival Of Cellphone Cinema




“International Festival of Cellphone Cinema has been planned by International Film And Television Club in the month of January 2011 to promote new ideas generated by young and new film makers all over the World. This has been the easiest way to express yourself, and highlight your thinking.” said Sandeep Marwah Festival president and Director Asian Academy Of Film And Television.

The organization to promote Children’s Cinema-International Children’s Film Forum will support 4tht IFCC in full swing. All the film Institutes will participate in this festival and 12th class students of all the schools are also invited to participate in this festival.

International Children’s Forum shall be issuing some interesting awards during this festival including mobile phones as consolation prizes. AAFT will host the festival.(www.aaft.com).

IPBF Will Be Part of 3rd Global Film Festival Noida 2010

International Public Broadcasting Forum, a body to promote film, television, radio production and broadcasting is going to be part of 3rd Global Film Festival Noida, 2010 to be scheduled from 12th to 14th November.

The IPBF International Public Broadcasting Forum was earlier busy with Queen’s Baton Relay where 102 days coverage of QBR from Wagah Border to Delhi has been recorded by them for the organizing committee of Commonwealth Games. A documentary and a game’s song were also released recently by IPBF.

“International Public Broadcasting Forum, I am sure going to announce some films during 3rd Global Film Festival Noida 2010” said Sandeep Marwah President of GFF and Marwah Studios.

“IPBF has decided to announce another documentary on Children during the GFF Noida 2010” confirmed R.K.Singh festival Director.

The festival has planned a special slot for projecting the Commonwealth films and an exhibition of still photography of 102 days coverage of Queen’s Baton Relay during Global Film Festival.

Sandeep Marwah Will Promote Mahatma Gandhi Forum




“We will not wait for 2nd October to start our new working in this forum, Gandhi’s thoughts are available to us every minute” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chairperson of Mahatma Gandhi Forum talking to the young media persons at Noida film city.

“I am looking for some short films which I would like to produce right now under this forum which should lead directly to thinking process of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation” added Sandeep Marwah who has been propagating Gandhian thinking from last 30 years in India and abroad.

The Gandhi forum which is supported by more than 8000 media persons of the country is supported by the International Public Broadcasting Forum also for making of the short films on ‘Gandhi vichardhara’. A new program has also been devised to speak for Gandhi on weekly basis on Radio Noida which has become the most popular station in this part of the country.

“In September itself we will start our first short film project on Mahatma Gandhi’ Marwah confirmed to the national press. All facilities will be provided by Marwah Studios to the film team.

Asian School of Media Studies Celebrated 5th Festival of Short Films




The Annual program of festival of short films was celebrated with great pomp and show.
“This is the best way not only to encourage students of the college but also to market their product” said Sandeep Marwah president of Marwah Studios while inaugurating the 5th festival of short films directed by the students of ASMS.

The lamp was lighted by the students of ASMS breaking all the old traditions of the college. “We believe that students should be able to write, shoot, direct and edit their own programs when they are out of the institution” said Harshvardhan, vice President of ASMS. “We are keen in developing all facilities within campus so that our student of Cinema, Journalism, Multimedia and Electronic Media not only learn the best but give the best to industry” said R.K. Singh Dean ASMS.

“No media person can be successful unless he is disciplined himself” said Rahul Sehgal the associate dean of Cinema. “We are here to look after the needs of students who have been provided World Class infrastructure to direct these films” added A.K.Goorah, the HOD Cinematography. The Students of all streams were present to appreciate the films. The program was well covered by Radio Noida 107.4FM.

63rd Festival Of Short Digital Films At AAFT

“It’s a great pleasure to see the creative product of young film makers .The film schools are nursery for film technicians”, said Vijay Goel, Chief Guest and former Union Minister, Government Of India while inaugurating the 63rd Festival of Short digital Films at Asian Academy Of Film And Television, Marwah Studios, Film City Noida. The festival is organized by International Film And Television Club [IFTC] and has 15 best films made by the students in the last batch of AAFT produced by Marwah Films And Video Production, a production house under the leadership of Sandeep Marwah.

“I had the opportunity to be in different countries of the World, but the kind of Film and TV education AAFT is providing in India, it is commendable.” Said Krishna V. Rajan, an IFS and former Ambassador to Nepal and Chairman of Universal Peace Federation [India Chapter].

“I am proud that I could create an International Record with the students of AAFT, and could produce 1500 short films with the young film makers of 70 countries of the World.” informed Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios.

The other speakers who spoke on the occasion were Vinod Zusti, a TV producer Director, Arun Kumar of International Sports Entertainment Ltd, Anoop Bhandari Editor Models and Trend, Kalyan Sarkar Dean AAFT. Later Sandeep Marwah presented Academy Award to Rajesh Bajaj the alumnae of AAFT from 6th Batch for his sincere contribution to Film and TV Industry. Rajesh Bajaj has been the director of more than 150 advertisement films, writer director of known film ‘Hari Puttar’,and now working in Hollywood with Oscar winning actor Helly Berry as writer/Director.
Others who were present there Gurbir Garewal,Kannan,Lalit Kumar,Satish Anand,Adil Rana,Mansoor Naqvi,Bharat Barikh,Prabhat,Abhinav Bajpai,Kamana,Seema Gupta,Viney Kumar,etc.
