Cannes: The Indian Pavilion at Cannes International Film Festival is always a meeting point for Indian filmmakers. This time the Pavilion was handled by FICCI. Secretary Information and Broadcasting Amit Khare inaugurated on the first day.

Many film personalities including Rahul Rawail, Bobby Bedi, Bhuvan Lal, Bir, Kangana, Tannistha Chatterjee, Prasoon Joshi, Deepika Padukone, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut, Daina Penty, Malika Sherawat, Hina Khan, Deepika Padunke and Huma Qureshi visited Cannes.

“I am lucky enough to be on the Jury of first Mobile International Festival, Cannes and also  Co- President with Global Short Films Awards Cannes,” informed Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

Noida: A Well-known film TV and media person Dr. Sandeep Marwah has been recently honored at Cannes during 72^nd Cannes International Film Festival at France for his extra ordinary contribution to media and entertainment Industry World Wide. This was the narration of his visit to Cannes.

“It was a great pleasure to represent your country solely where 60,000 people from 200 countries of the World from the same field of media and entertainment were present and come back home with hands full of love, success and prestige,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah six times World Record Holder in media while talking to  200 media professionals on his return to AAFT at Marwah Studios.

Life Time Achievement Award was bestowed upon Dr. Marwah during 72^nd Cannes International Film Festival 2019. That was not enough as he was also nominated the Vice President of the Jury meant for first International Mobile   Cinema Presentation at Cannes. It was also a great honor for the country as he was Co- President with Global Short Films Awards Cannes this time.

Not many Indian have been lucky enough to be in Cannes with so much of importance and busy schedules. More than 50 meetings were arranged with Sandeep Marwah    with different filmmakers of different countries during his stay at Hotel Intercontinental Carlton at Cannes.

Cannes: “It was a rare opportunity to be on the jury of most prestigious Global Short Film Awards Cannes 2019 where other important film makers from different countries were also contributing their best,” said Sandeep Marwah president of well-known Marwah Studios of Republic of India at Hotel Intercontinental Carlton Cannes during 72^nd Cannes International Film Festival 2019.

Sandeep Marwah has been the World record holder who has produced largest number of short films. He has been associated with many film festival and film juries. He has been the recipient of many national and international awards for his vast contribution to media and entertainment industry.

Global Short Film Awards, established in 2015, recognizes excellence in short films less than 15 minutes long in a variety of subjects. Filmmakers can submit their films in 2D and/or 3-D format in one or more subject category.

The competition is open to both amateur and professional filmmakers from around the world. Films, including titles and credits, must be in English or in any language with English subtitles. The competition is held annually and provides creative filmmakers with a platform to showcase their work thereby gaining exposure and recognition as well as connecting with decision makers in the industry for possible further business, distribution and purchase.

Cannes: Well known Indian Film, Television and Media personality Sandeep Marwah and producer of largest number of short films, was the Co-President of Jury for Global Short Film Awards Cannes  

Cannes Global Short Film Awards Gala and Luxury Fashion Shows is held during the world-famous Cannes International Film Festival. This was the fourth edition this time. Global Short Film Awards, established in 2015, recognizes excellence in short films less than 15 minutes long in a variety of subjects.

GSF Awards founder and director Andres Aquino identified this as an opportunity to combine top-notch fashion and entertainment while recognizing exceptional short films in a glitzy upscale event.

The international jet-set of royals, VIPs, celebrities, influencers, movers and shakers have embraced the GSF Awards Gala enthusiastically,  making it one of the most “don’t miss” events in Cannes. Top fashion models, international press and makeup and hair industry leaders also attended the event informed Sandeep Marwah.

Cannes: The well known film and television person Sandeep Marwah represented India in 72^nd Cannes International Film Festival and was invited by the Netherland Government to their Get Together.

We are keen in developing business with Netherland. A scholarship for the deserving student to learn cinema in India can also be handed over to the Ambassador of Netherland in India. A festival of films from Netherland is also due in Delhi and Marwah Studios can take full initiative to do so,” said Sandeep Marwah attracting film makers to India.

Sandeep Marwah met Teija Raninen Film Commissioner of West Finland Film Commission and Anne Laurila Film Commissioner of North Finland Film Commission and Project managerArctic Image during the meet and discussed the projects.
