10th Global Film Festival Fixed For 10 th November


10th Global Film Festival Noida 2017


New Delhi: The most popular international film festival of North India under the title Global Film Festival Noida 2017 is ready for the public participation from 10th November to 12th November 2017 at Noida Film City.

“The tenth edition has to be bigger than the last ones. The preparation of one year will bring wonderful results. We have grown in one year and most interesting events have been planned this time,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Global Film Festival Noida.

The festival will have large number of workshops, seminars, interactions, symposiums, talks, screening of cinemas, retrospectives, exhibitions, entertainment programs by well known Indian and foreign film makers.

10th Global Film Festival Noida has grown big. We are going to be a very different festival this time. Ample has gone into the planning and now time has come for the execution,” added Ashok Tyagi Festival Director.

“We request you to please block your dates from 10th to 12th of November for an extra ordinary extravaganza of Cinema in your country,” said Marwah excitedly.

IPBF Joins Hand With 4th International Festival Of Cellphone Cinema


International Public Broadcasting Forum, a body to promote film, television and Radio productions join hands with 4th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema scheduled for 3rd week of January 2011 at Noida Film City.

The World Record Holder of producing largest number of short films and festival President Sandeep Marwah appointed Kalyan Sarkar as festival Director who is also Dean of renowned film school Asian Academy of Film And Television established in 1993.

“International Public Broadcasting Forum will look after all the production and editing of films by providing shooting and post production facilities to all those who wants to participate in this festival.” said R.K.Singh Vice President of IPBF.

“The festival will have seminar, workshop, screening of films and networking lunches and dinners. The big bigs of the industry will participate in the festival” said Sandeep Marwah. (www.aaft.com)

IFTRC Will Be Part of 3rd Global Festival Of Children’s Film 2010

International Film And Television Research Centre, the first film research organization in India in private sector has once again joined hands with 3rd Global Festival of Films 2010 with the emphasis on Children’s films. to be held from 12th November to 14th November 2010.

IFTRC, who have recently celebrated 18th year of its existence in India has already conducted research on children’s film and television programs in last so many years.
The research centre is associated with number of national and international film and television personalities, film makers and professors.


“We will be happy to associate International Film And Television Research Centre with 3rd Global Festival of Films 2010, as IFTRC is planning to release its books and publications during the festival” said Sandeep Marwah President of the festival in a joint meeting of GFF and IFTRC.

The three days festival will be held at the campus of Marwah Studios at Noida Film City. GFF is the first International film festival of the city Noida which has been the fastest growing city in the World.

67th Festival of Short Digital Films at Noida Film City




“This is the only festival in India and may be in the World which happens every three months and highlights the experimental work of young film makers” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Director of Asian Academy of Film And Television while introducing the AAFT’s 67th Festival of Short Digital Films to the excited young aspirants of 68th batch of students from all over the World.

“Filmmaking is the outcome of art blended with feelings from the heart, therefore a lot of emotions have to be inducted in the Cinema” said Santosh Anand, the National Poet and lyrics writer of feature films like Purab Aur Pachim, Prem Agan, Shor, Kranti, Gopichand Jasoos, Tahlka, Roti Kapara Aur Makan etc while inaugurating the festival at Marwah Studios.

“Film Making is a performing art and you can only learn by doing. This is the only institute which gives you ample opportunity to make films at its expense” said Upendra Sood a renowned film maker present on the occasion.

“Film Festivals are the best way to promote films and film makers” said Joyshree Arora the renowned film and TV artist. “A good script can always enhance the value of films” said Parvez Ahmed a well known journalist and President of Press Club of India.

The films which were shown in the festival were ‘The Denouement’ directed by ‘Abhishek Saluja’, ‘Close Friend’ by Lakshasy, ‘To Sir With Love’ by Kalyan Sarkar, ‘Dead Lock’ by Ankur Srivastava, ‘Hope’[Documentary] by Neha Jain, ‘S.S.Swami Iyer’ by Shashan Gupta ‘Dhoka’ by Suchita and ‘Kabuliwallah’ by Jyotika Sinha.

Global Festival of Documentary Films emerges as the most prestigious South Asian Documentary Film Festival as it bags the most awarded and talked about films for participation in the Festival organized by International Film & Television Club of Marwah Studios, a Creative Enterprise.

Eminent film makers like Megan Mylan, Teri McLuhan, A.S. Bedi, Kim Longinotto amongst a long list of internal names enter their films in the festival.Global Festival of Documentary Films is taking place from 20th to 22nd November, ’09 at Marwah Studios Complex, Film City, Noida, U.P.

The Festival venue would be buzzing with the celebrity attendance of film makers and film personalities not only attending the festival but also interacting with the audience and the young film makers during the daily networking sessions open to all film makers, media and film enthusiasts.

Sandeep Marwah Welcomed The Team Of Oscar Winning Film Smile Pinki


It was a great pleasure to see the enthusiasm of Indians when the Director of Oscar winning film Smile Pinky Ms Megan Mylan along with the charismatic doctor Dr. Subodh Kumar visited Delhi. The president of Marwah Studios Sandeep Marwah welcomed them and informed them about the Global Festival Of Documentary Films where the film has been nominated as one of the best international Documentary by the jury., to be held in the month of November at Noida Film City.
“We are feeling proud to be associated with Marwah Studios and thankful for providing their facilities for this Oscar Winning film” said Megan Mylan, the director of the film Smile Pinki. “I would love to be present and part of Global Festival of Documentary Films 2009” she added. “The shooting arrangements at Marwah Studios are no less than any Hollywood studios” said Dr. Subodh Kumar.
The film is about eight year young girl Pinki Kumari who is living with a severe cleft lip in one of the poorest areas of India. Not allowed to attend school at her native village, and ostracized because of her deformity, Pinki lives a life of quiet desperation as she waits and wonders if she will ever receive the cleft surgery. Her parents could never afford the surgery that she desperately needs. By chance, Pinki's parents meet a social worker one day who is traveling village to village, gathering patients for a hospital that provides free cleft lip surgery to thousands of poor children each year through the The Smile Train program. The surgery was performed by plastic surgeon Dr Subodh Kumar Singh, who along with Pinki attended the 81st Academy Award ceremony

63rd Festival Of Short Digital Films At AAFT

“It’s a great pleasure to see the creative product of young film makers .The film schools are nursery for film technicians”, said Vijay Goel, Chief Guest and former Union Minister, Government Of India while inaugurating the 63rd Festival of Short digital Films at Asian Academy Of Film And Television, Marwah Studios, Film City Noida. The festival is organized by International Film And Television Club [IFTC] and has 15 best films made by the students in the last batch of AAFT produced by Marwah Films And Video Production, a production house under the leadership of Sandeep Marwah.

“I had the opportunity to be in different countries of the World, but the kind of Film and TV education AAFT is providing in India, it is commendable.” Said Krishna V. Rajan, an IFS and former Ambassador to Nepal and Chairman of Universal Peace Federation [India Chapter].

“I am proud that I could create an International Record with the students of AAFT, and could produce 1500 short films with the young film makers of 70 countries of the World.” informed Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios.

The other speakers who spoke on the occasion were Vinod Zusti, a TV producer Director, Arun Kumar of International Sports Entertainment Ltd, Anoop Bhandari Editor Models and Trend, Kalyan Sarkar Dean AAFT. Later Sandeep Marwah presented Academy Award to Rajesh Bajaj the alumnae of AAFT from 6th Batch for his sincere contribution to Film and TV Industry. Rajesh Bajaj has been the director of more than 150 advertisement films, writer director of known film ‘Hari Puttar’,and now working in Hollywood with Oscar winning actor Helly Berry as writer/Director.

We Care Film Festival At Marwah Studios




Asian Academy Of Film And Television along with the social organization Brotherhood organized “Look Back We Care Film Festival” an event of films on Disability at Marwah Studios, Film City, Noida. The collection of films on different issues of disabilities were projected to the large crowd, film and television students of AAFT,ASMS and ABS with an idea to evoke emotions towards people who are sometimes ignored by the community and society for no rhyme or reasons.
“We have joined hands with Brotherhood only to promote the idea of creating awareness towards disability” said Sandeep Marwah, President Marwah Studios. “We at brotherhood have pledged to promote our disable brothers and sisters to come forward in life and become independent” said Satish Kapoor, the Director of the Festival .The festival is supported by the information Centre of United Nation, National Trust, Shivkala Motion Pictures and International Film And Television Club.
“We have to look back into Hindi feature films like Black, Dosti, Tare Zameen pain, Koshish where a huge information is highlighted on disability” said Sameer Sen Chief Guest of the day and renowned music director who has given music to 150 feature films like Jalwa ,Arjun Pandit, Anari No 1, Achanak, Salakhen, Kartavaya etc. B.B.Choudhary IPS, Sanjeev Sachdeva, Rajeev Chandran of United Nation Information Centre, R.K.Singh former Engineer in Chief, Doordarshan, Raghaveddhiraa of Mangolore Port Trust ,Sharad Dutt of Channel P7 were the other speakers of the day. The program was followed by screening of 15 selected short films on Disability.

India Will Join Hands With Georgia In Film Business

62nd Cannes Film Festival has proved a wonderful platform for Indian Film Maker Sandeep Marwah to announce a joint ventures with the film makers of Georgia when he was invited by the Minister of Cultural, Monuments Protection and sports of Georgia Nicholas Rurua to Georgia to look for himself the growing demand of film and TV business in their country.

Sandeep Marwah the president of Marwah Studios and Director of First private film school of India, Asian Academy Of Film And TV (AAFT) offered student exchange, faculty exchange programs along with the joint ventures to produce short film with the film and TV students of Georgian film School when he was representing India in the meeting of International delegates held by the Georgian Minister Nicholas Rurua at 62nd Cannes Film Festival at Majestic Hotel. Marwah offered scholarship to the students of Georgia to come to India to learn about Indian Film Industry to strengthen the relation between two countries.

“It is very necessary to take initiative to invite important film makers from Georgia to India to develop new relationship between two countries. Films are the best way to exchange culture.” said Sandeep Marwah, who is the World record holder of producing largest number of short films.

“We are very keen to join hands with Indian Film Industry, which is largest in the World and exchange programs and education with Marwah Studios is the right start.” Added Nicholas Rurua.

Marwah Studios Marked Its Presence At 62nd Cannes Film Festival

Marwah Studios, the promoters of Noida Film City of North India and the first private film School of India, Asian Academy Of Film And Television marked its presence at 62nd Cannes Film Festival, the biggest film festival and film networking platform of the world.

Sandeep Marwah has planned a full length feature film as coproduction under the banner of Marwah Studios with American film Director Karl Bardosh which will go on the floor at the end of this year .The news was announced at the inauguration of India Pavilion at 62nd Cannes Film festival.
