Marwah Studios Multimedia Team With QBR CWG At Mumbai
MUMBAI: The Queen’s Baton 2010 Delhi arrived with Marwah Studios Multimedia Team in the commercial capital of the country Mumbai amid cultural extravaganza and a grand welcome by the Western Naval Command at INS Viraat.
Many International athletes were present at this occasion including hockey Olympian - MM Somaya, former national table tennis champion - Kamlesh Mehta, chess Grandmaster - Praveen Thipsay, his wife - Bhagyashree Thipsay, Arjuna Awardee - Adil Sumariwala, former badminton players - Pradeep Gandhe and Gauri Ghate and national level basketball player - Surbhi Mudgal.
Hockey Olympian MM Somaya said, “I was honoured to be a part of the Queen's Baton Relay. It is a big thing for us sportspersons. It was a proud moment indeed.”
At the legendary Gateway of India Maharashtra Chief Minister, Mr. Ashok Chavan participated in the relay. He received the baton which arrived by aboat from Karanje naval jetty in Uran, Navy Mumbai, to the Gateway of India in south Mumbai.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Chavan expressed the hope that the Games would spread a spirit of sportsmanship among the people and popularise sports among the masses.
Besides the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Chhagan Bhujbal, Sports Minister Mr. Suresh Shetty, Union Minister for IT Mr. Gurudas Kamat and other sports officials and members of the State Olympic Association were present on the occasion.
Earlier the Indian Navy gave the baton a majestic welcome. As many as 1,400 naval sailors and 400 navy children school students welcomed the baton by waving the Tricolour. Lezhim, Maharashtra’s traditional synchronised dance form was performed by a cultural troupe of students.
The baton was first taken to the submarine, INS Sindhuvijay, and then to INS Viraat where it was handed over to Vice-Admiral Sanjeev Bhasin, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Naval Region.
“We are proud to get this unique opportunity. The Queen's Baton 2010 Delhi carries forward a five-decade-old tradition and symbolises the unity and diversity of the Commonwealth countries,” Vice-Admiral Bhasin said.
The baton, carrying the Queen's message on an 18-carat gold leaf, was then handed over by Vice-Admiral Bhasin to Shaurya Chakra Award winner Commander Dilip Dhonde, the first Indian to circumnavigate the world solo. Near the Gateway, the baton was welcomed by two Chetak helicopters which showered petals and two jet cannons which formed an arch, as the baton cruised forward to the Gateway.
“All these precious moments were recrded by our team at Mumbai” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and head of Multimedia Team.

Sanjay Suri Invited By Asian School Of Media Studies
The popular and the talented actor of feature films Sorry Bhai, My Brother Nikhil, Filhal, Dhoop, Bas Ek Pal, Sanjay Suri expressed the importance of emotions in Cinema in the Master class of Marwah Studios where the large gathering of Film, TV and Media Management students of Asian Academy Of film And Television, Asian School Of Media Studies and Asian Business School were engrossed in listing to his statements.” Emotion is the language of Cinema” said Sanjay.” Education and training do help an actor to get familiar with the techniques of Acting” he added.
“Films need lots of passion, and hard work. This is one business where you cannot take things for granted.” said Onir the renowned Writer, Editor and Director of feature films Bas Ek Pal, Sorry Bhai and My Brother Nikhil who offered the students to be the producer of his next film by buying the shares of the project.
“We at Marwah Studios feel that interaction with the industry is not only necessary but essential” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios while introducing the guest from Munbai. “We are happy that two talented and experts from the industry are going to be the members of our family” Later Marwah presented them the membership of International Film And Television Club. Indian Scholarship For Media Courses

The Governing Council Of Marwah Studios running four institutions under the name and banner of Asian Academy Of Film And Television, Asian School Of Media Studies, Asian Business School and AAFT School Of Graphics And Animation, has decided to launch for the first time a scholarship for the deserving candidates who may not be able to pay for their courses otherwise.
“The decision was taken on the 79th birth anniversary of the founder late shri Suraj Parkash Marwah on 15th june,2009” said Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios “.This scholarship is decided to help those candidates who deserve to be in Media but may not be in a position to pay for their courses.” added Marwah. The institution (AAFT) is running 37 courses right now and application will be valid for most expensive short term courses of three months which are popular world wide. The institutions are attracting students from 70 countries of the World and have created many International Records in 16 years of Media Training.
Asian Academy of Film And Television (AAFT) with its Alumni of 7000 students is the third biggest film school in the World and has been rated as the first Ten Best Film Schools Of the World. AAFT is based in film city of North India at the Green City Noida. The institute is surrounded by the most popular media houses of India and International Channels. UCLAN and Asian School Of Media Studies Will Promote Journalism

Asian School of Media Studies, Noida along with University of Central Lancashire, Preston, UK together have decided to promote students of journalism of their schools, by signing a joint student exchange program. ”I would like to invite students from UCLAN to come and see for them selves how journalism is taught and learned in India. India Will Join Hands With Georgia In Film Business
62nd Cannes Film Festival has proved a wonderful platform for Indian Film Maker Sandeep Marwah to announce a joint ventures with the film makers of Georgia when he was invited by the Minister of Cultural, Monuments Protection and sports of Georgia Nicholas Rurua to Georgia to look for himself the growing demand of film and TV business in their country.
Sandeep Marwah the president of Marwah Studios and Director of First private film school of India, Asian Academy Of Film And TV (AAFT) offered student exchange, faculty exchange programs along with the joint ventures to produce short film with the film and TV students of Georgian film School when he was representing India in the meeting of International delegates held by the Georgian Minister Nicholas Rurua at 62nd Cannes Film Festival at Majestic Hotel. Marwah offered scholarship to the students of Georgia to come to India to learn about Indian Film Industry to strengthen the relation between two countries.
“It is very necessary to take initiative to invite important film makers from Georgia to India to develop new relationship between two countries. Films are the best way to exchange culture.” said Sandeep Marwah, who is the World record holder of producing largest number of short films.
“We are very keen to join hands with Indian Film Industry, which is largest in the World and exchange programs and education with Marwah Studios is the right start.” Added Nicholas Rurua.

Marwah Studios Marked Its Presence At 62nd Cannes Film Festival
Marwah Studios, the promoters of Noida Film City of North India and the first private film School of India, Asian Academy Of Film And Television marked its presence at 62nd Cannes Film Festival, the biggest film festival and film networking platform of the world.
“I am proud to be associated with 62nd Cannes Film Festival through India Pavilion of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India handled by the oldest Chamber of India ASSOCHAM.” said Sandeep Marwah the president of Marwah Studios.”Our film Coffee House was one the twenty films screened at India Pavilion and Four Short films directed by students of AAFT were also shown. It has given me great initiative to work for better cinema.” added Marwah.
“I am happy that this time the students of Asian Academy Of Film And TV have visited this Great Gala Show to learn more about Cannes Festival.” informed Sandeep Marwah.
Sandeep Marwah has planned a full length feature film as coproduction under the banner of Marwah Studios with American film Director Karl Bardosh which will go on the floor at the end of this year .The news was announced at the inauguration of India Pavilion at 62nd Cannes Film festival.

Film Coffee House Is For Every One
The feature film Coffee House presented by Shivkala Motion Pictures and Marwah Studios in association with GTV International is the story of a common man .What we go through every day in our lives, can be seen in beautiful bided story of Coffee House.
The film is produced by Mahin and Asit Mittal, Sandeep Marwah, Girish Batra, Sandeep Gupta and Kishan Kumar .”The impact of feature film is the largest on masses, it can really pass on the message to the nation, and this is one of those films” said Sandeep Marwah..”Gurbir Garewal has done a fabulous job by projecting reality in the film.” said Mahim Mittal who has also written the songs for the film.
“This is my first feature film and it is releasing at the time when my countrymen need right advice for the nation”, said Sakshi Tanwar. ”Well my role in Coffee House is what I was looking for a long time, I remember I was totally involved with my character when I was shooting for this film” .said Ashutosh Rana.
.The film is written and directed by President Award Winner Gurbir Garewal who has written and directed number of super hit TV serials. The cast includes Ashutosh Rana and Sakshi Tanwar jointly for the first time. Music by Javed Kumar, Dances by Longiness Fernandes, Cinematography by Sabestian AKN, Lyrics by Mahim Mittal, Backround Music by Sanjay Chakarvarty, Sound by Avneet Garewal, Editing by Omkar Nath Bhakri and Rerecording by Deepan Chatterjee.
The other artist includes Paintal, Aman Dhariwal, Neha Mishra, Hemant Pandey, Harsh Chaya, Vinod Nagpal, Javed Khan, and S.M.Zaheer. The film Director has also given opportunity to many trained artist from AAFT Asian Academy Of Film And Television , NOIDA in various roles.

Marwah Studios Will Host Global Festival Of Documentary Films
The enthusiastic staff and members of Marwah Studios took no time in deciding to host the next Global Festival Of Documentary Films to be held in July, 09.” Which place can be better than the Noida Film City and specially Marwah Studios which is the hub centre for film and tv persons and surrounded by the best film companies of the industry” said Sandeep Marwah, the Owner of Marwah Films And Video Studios.
Documentary Film Festival is going to be different as entries are invited from all over the World and there is three different categories of 10 minutes, 20 minutes and 30 minutes .The members of International Film And Television Club have assured the prize of 5000 US Dollars for the best documentaries. A special cell has been created at Marwah Studios to provide complete infrastructure to the festival and specialized people have been appointed to look after the planning and execution of the project.
