Inauguration of Silver Jubilee of NAI


New Delhi: A grand event to celebrate the silver jubilee of one of the oldest organizations of journalists –Newspapers Association of India was held at Convention Centre of NDMC at New Delhi.

“We are thankful to all those who have respected the importance of journalism-the forth pillar of Democracy. Journalism has always kept us alive and alert. The truth must be brought to the table. NAI has gone out of way to look after the needs of its members and kept them motivated to do their best all these years,” said Sandeep Marwah Chief Patron of the association at the inauguration of silver jubilee function.

The organization started by Dr. Gaur 25 years back and now well controlled by Vipin Gaur. Late Dr. M.R. Gaur always believed in that "To be a journalist you need courage, dedication and honor. It's not only about knowing the truth yourself but about bringing it out in front of the world," reminded Marwah who is a part of the team from very beginning.

“I congratulate NAI and all the members on this silver jubilee celebration. NAI has studied all the needs of the journalist and seriously working on them. If I can be of any need please do not hesitate to include me in the team,” said Manoj Tewari MP and Head of BJP Delhi.

“I have taken this responsibly to look after the organization; I have left no stone unturned to make it the most popular, biggest and useful setup for journalists. We will march further to bring in all those facilities which journalist of this nation is looking for,” added Vipin Gaur General Secretary.

Patron Prof. Sunil Dang, President Suryabhan Singh Rajput, Vice President O.P.Sharma, National Organising Secretary MTV Swamy, Executive Secretary O.P.Jain and Anil Nagpal, Joint Secretary N Surya Narayan, Press Secretary Mohan Singh, North Zone President K.R.Arun were also present there.

Later 30 top journalists from Print, Radio, Television and New Media were presented with NAI Silver Jubilee awards and six families of Armed forces were also honored with cash awards.

Madhur Bhandarkar is well known for his films like Chandani Bar, Page 3, Corporate, Traffic Signal, Fashion, Calendar Girls and now Indu Sarkar. He is the recipient of Padma Bhushan and three times national Award for his films.

“We are here to create the awareness of our next film Indu Sarkar which has depicted politics of India. I am feeling elevated to work with national award winning director,” said Kirti Kulhari the main lead of the film. Kurti Kulhat started her career with Kuichdi: The Movie followed by films like Shaitaan, Sooper Se Ooper, Pink, Jal, Cute Kameena and San 75.

Dr Lalitya Srivastava Director Asian Business School thanked the guests and Sandeep Marwah presented the life membership of IBMRC - International Business And Management Research Centre of ABS to the dignities. International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry supported the event.

Print Media Still Holds Large Share-Sandeep Marwah




“What ever said and done print media still holds the large share of 22% in the total pie as medium of media in India” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios highlighting the print media and Journalism courses of Asian Education Group on the inauguration of new print media lab at Marwah Studios.

The Indian print media industry has grown at a healthy rate of 10.2 percent over the last five year and is projected to grow by 7.4 percent over the period 2009-2014 and is projected to reach an estimated Rs 230.5 billion in 2014 from the present estimate of Rs 161.5 billion in 2009. Newspaper will continue to have a major share in the print market .Expansion in regional papers will be the key factor of growth now informed Marwah.

AAFT Alumni Doing Wonders In Media

Since the inception of AAFT in 1993, it has been proved that good education supported by value editions like workshops, seminars, symposiums, industry interface, film practical in the respective fields can do great job to the carrier of students.

Radio Noida Promoting Unprivileged Through Vigyan Club

The team of Radio Noida 107.4FM has established a social setup under the name and banner of ‘Vigyan Club’ to promote scientific education in villages and in slums of Noida with the help of Ministry of Science and Technology.

“The idea is to uplift all those unprivileged students who are getting no opportunity to come forward in society” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios-a creative enterprise and Chairperson of Radio Noida “We want to bring them to better facilities whether its education, science classes, radio programs, computer and dance classes, health awareness or personality development” Marwah added.

“I am taking personal interest in designing the whole program for these students from 15,16 and 17 sectors of Noida” said Brahm Parkash who has been visiting at slums to teach Radio Programs.

A special slot on Radio Noida has been sanctioned for the program prepared by the students from these areas.

Radio Noida Will Cover Queen's Baton Relay For 100 Days


Radio Noida 107.4FM, a subsidiary of Marwah Studios and part of Asian Education Group preparing and gearing up to cover Commonwealth Games 2010 everyday and will start its special programs on this great International event

“We are very excited to be associated with Commonwealth Games 2010 and we have decided to cover the games and all associated events everyday starting from the entry of baton from Wagah Boarder on 25 june to the end of the games” said Sandeep Marwah the renowned international personality and President of Marwah Studios to the large media gathering on receiving the official agreement from the Organizing Committee of XIX Commonwealth Games 2010, Delhi under the Chairman ship of Suresh Kalmadi.

“The special studios have been setup to give live as well as recorded coverage to this mega event” said R.K.Singh Dean Asian School of Media Studies and Vice President of Organizing Committee on Commonwealth Games by Marwah Studios.

We Need To Know More In Journalism Santosh Bhartiya



A full day workshop on the ethics of journalism and how to be a good journalist took place at Marwah Studios organized by the International Film And Television Research Centre in association with Asian School Of Media Studies and Asian Academy Of Film And TV for the working journalist of different News papers and TV channels.

“Be honest to your profession, journalism needs lots of passion, running a news paper is like a prayer” said Dr Bhisham Narayan Singh, former Union Minister, Government Of India and Former Governer of 7 states of India while inaugurating National Workshop on Journalism. “Honesty pay in life, it is always tough way to success” he added.

“It is important to pursue with the stories till it reaches to its end” said veteran journalist Santosh Bhartiya who has made his position from a reporter to member of Rajya Sabha. “Never afraid from the strong influences, believe in investigation,” Santosh added.

“Education and training is must for every profession including journalism” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios. Command on language, research on the subject, preparation and home work about the person are some of the tips given by Marwah with some interesting examples.
The known film director Gurbir S Garewal spoke about film Journalism and the slip outs in film journalism. Other speakers who spoke on TV Journalism were Dean ASMS prof. Suman Bajaj Kalra and Dean AAFT Prof Kalyan Sarkar .The workshop became more interesting with the large set of question answers at the end of the session.

Indian Scholarship For Media Courses
