Sandeep Marwah Released New Edition Of Magazine Talaash


Magazine Released by Sandeep Marwah at Bikaner House


New Delhi: A new edition of well-established Life Style Magazine, under the name and banner of Talaash, was released by Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios at a grand function at Bikaner House open theatre.

“It is very important to be over cautious while publishing a magazine in this environment when every thing is available on Internet. You have to be exclusive and different from rest of the World of entertainment. I congratulate the editor and publisher for having courage and to maintain exclusivity,” said Sandeep Marwah thanking promoters for inviting him for the good purpose.

Some prominent persons like North Delhi Municipal Corporation Mayor Avtar Singh, Fashion Designer Rosy Ahluwalia, Art Promoter Smita Srivastava, Senior IPS officer Robin Hibu, Editor Rajni Panwar were also present there.

A colorful article on Sandeep Marwah was also this time part of the magazine. The release was followed by felicitation ceremony, a fashion show by Rosy Ahluwalia and dances by group from North East of India.

Print Media Still Holds Large Share-Sandeep Marwah




“What ever said and done print media still holds the large share of 22% in the total pie as medium of media in India” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios highlighting the print media and Journalism courses of Asian Education Group on the inauguration of new print media lab at Marwah Studios.

The Indian print media industry has grown at a healthy rate of 10.2 percent over the last five year and is projected to grow by 7.4 percent over the period 2009-2014 and is projected to reach an estimated Rs 230.5 billion in 2014 from the present estimate of Rs 161.5 billion in 2009. Newspaper will continue to have a major share in the print market .Expansion in regional papers will be the key factor of growth now informed Marwah.

We have our own ‘Asian News Journal’, ‘Asian News Letter’, a magazine ‘Pranam’, daily news bulletin ‘Student’s Voice’, a portal ‘batchbuzz.com’ and a news agency under the banner of ‘Asian News Agency’. Writing Department Upgraded At Asian Education Group-Noida

Marwah Studios has upgraded the Writing Department in its Asian Education Group to inculcate writing skills among its students across its existing five schools ie AAFT (Asian Academy of Film & Television, ABS (Asian Business School), ASMS (Asian School of Media Studies, ASGA (Asian School of Graphics & Animation and ASPA (Asian School of Performing Arts).

”The aim of creating Writing Department is to fulfill the long felt need to hone
and harness three basic skills among its students- Reading, Writing and
Speaking.” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Director of this media Universe.

This department will impart writing skills in script writing, news writing,
voice overs, radio commentaries, interviewing, anchoring, news reading,
dialogues, screen plays, workshops, stage management, public speaking, speech
writing, playwriting, web content, blogging, poetry, short stories and even
novels. It will hold reading sessions, debates, declamation contests, speech
competitions, newspaper and journal production, radio discussions, radio and
video jockeying.

”We will invite foreign professors to take interactive sessions, media
professionals for events, writers and littérateurs and prepare students to
participate in inter-college competitions” said Dr. Om Gupta Dean writing Department who has been writing for all the mediums of media for last 40 years.

Marwah Studios already publishing books, journal ‘Asian News Journal’, ‘Pranam’ a magazine, News Letter, a portal “Batchbuzz.com”, running a radio station “Radio Noida’ and has its own film and TV production house.

AAFT Alumni Doing Wonders In Media

Since the inception of AAFT in 1993, it has been proved that good education supported by value editions like workshops, seminars, symposiums, industry interface, film practical in the respective fields can do great job to the carrier of students.

“What ever I have achieved I give credit to my Film School AAFT” said Kaushik Ghatak Director of ‘Kaunki Saas Bhi Kabhie Bahu Thi’, ‘Sanjeevni’ and feature film ‘EK Vivah’. “I cannot forget my base AAFT, that was my real beginning in the industry” said Anuj P Joshi, Director of ‘Kausti Zindgi Kay’ and film ‘Garhwali Sholay’. “My repect for my institution will never die, that is my foundation” said Gurmeet Singh chief Assistant in ‘Jhoda Akbar’, ‘Gandhi My Father’ now director of ‘Sharafat Gaye Tel Lene’.

Aziz Burney Shared His Experience With MBA Students


Asian Business School (ABS) with its students specializing in Media Management had a wonderful interaction program with the renowned and veteran journalist and now group editor of Sahara Dr. Aziz Burney.

Explaining the difficulties and fun in establishing and managing a News Paper Office Aziz Burney explained the students of business administration the different carrier opportunities they can have after passing out from the college in this field.

Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Director of Asian Business School said, “India offers a promising market for the print media industry. The expected CAGR of 12 per cent is a result of the increasing rate of literacy. In 2010, the print media is expected to reach Rs 19,500 crore from its present value of Rs 10,900 crore”

“The immense scope of the Indian print media have also aroused the interest of foreign investors” said Gurbir Garewal film maker and Jt. Director AAFT. “Digital printing, new ways of promotion and distribution are the latest trends and content being the focus of the print media industry” said Arun Anand, HOD Still Photography.
