Fifth World Record of Sandeep Marwah Approved

New Delhi: Another unique and extra ordinary contribution of Dr. Sandeep Marwah has been given the approval by the management of Unique Book of World Records and presented the certificate of World Record recently.

We are very happy to note that no film, television, media or sports organization in the Word has so far contributed so much in a such a short period of time this massive contribution to the promotion of sports and media,” said representative of Unique World Records while handing over the certificate to Sandeep Marwah.

The record says that Sandeep Marwah and his team “covered Queens Baton Relay during XXIX Commonwealth Games in 2010 right from the Indian Wagah Boarder to Nehru Stadium the venue for the opening of Games covering 28 states 5 Union Territories, 20,000 Kilometers, 300 events, 900 cities, and clicked 10,000 pictures, 1000 hour of film making, 102 radio programs, 102 short films in 102 days” and created a World Record.

“We are happy that we could contribute so. The additional benefit we received that the 102 short films covering everyday movement of Queen’s Baton were broadcasted in 196 countries for 102 days in prominent news channels. I got the opportunity to be one of the 900 people who walked with the baton to cover the distance of 20,000 KM. The opening film of Games at Nehru Stadium was also prepared by Marwah Studios. 72 students from Asian School of Media Studies were part of the media coverage team during all the days of Games in different stadiums,” expressed Dr. Sandeep Marwah on receiving the award.

Indian Footvolley Team Catching International Status- Sandeep Marwah

Mumbai: A conference was planned between the Indian players and American players to join hands in promoting game of Footvolley in India and also at international platform. Many points were discussed during the discussion on web.

“I am pleased to meet the enthusiastic players of Footvolley from both the nation India and USA. We still have to bring in zest in the this game in India as not many people are still familiar with the game. Continuous hammering to the press, Sports events and finally the competitions and tournament will take the games to new platform,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios, Patron to Footvolley Association of India & Chairman for Media and Entertainment Committee of Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Government of India.

 “We are ready to cooperate to our best to the Indian Footvolley association, need to be we are ready to part with trainers and coach to your team. The games are going through a tough time because of Pandemic, but we will keep our practice on,” said  Sergio Menezes President Footvolley Association of USA.

He is the sport’s foremost personality, promoter, and executive in North America.  Menezes is synonymous with footvolley in the United States. He is a rare, and unique, executive who carefully, and patiently, re-packaged a Brazilian sport into mainstream acceptance in America.

“We are planning to have  an international Footvolley tournament in the month of November 2021 and would like You and your team to participate and grace this sports event. We would also like to invite you for a seminar with Indian sports person in due course of time,”

Sandeep Marwah Invited For Super Boxing League

New Delhi: Renowned film, television and media personality Sandeep Marwah was invited as special guest at the Super Boxing League started its national competitions from 7th July 2017 at Sports Complex of Sri Fort at New Delhi.

“I am impressed by the size and grandeur of the event and especially the great participation of the people in this game.  This competition has raised the level of boxing in India. The credit goes to the organizers of the game,” said Sandeep Marwah also Patron to India Professional Boxing Association and Amjad Khan Boxing Foundation.

  British business tycoon Bill Dosanjh and British pro boxer & Olympic Champion Amir Khan founded the Super Fighting League in 2012. Its intent is giving Indian mixed martial artists a platform to compete and grow in its home country whilst bringing in talented fighters from different parts of the world. They launched their first event on March 11, 2012, which was headlined by Bob ‘The Beast’ Sapp and James ‘The Colossus’ Thompson. Amjad Khan of Amjad Khan Boxing Foundation supporting the event.

Sandeep Marwah Represented Media In Queen’s Baton Relay At Jaipur




Jaipur.22nd September “It is my proud privileged to be part of the relay team and to run with the Queen’s Baton in the historical city of Jaipur. I am feeling so patriotic and wish that everything should go well at Commonwealth Games as per plans” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Director of Asian Academy Of Film And Television to the National Press at Jaipur where earlier Baton was received by Rajasthan Olympic Association Chief Janardhan Gehlot from Agra.

Sandeep Marwah, the renowned media personality and an International record holder of producing largest number of shorts films in the World, was representing films, Television and media Industry in Queen’s Baton Relay. He has been a media Guru and has trained more than 8000 persons from 75 countries.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. in a ceremonial gesture along with state tourism minister Bina Kak handed over the Baton to Olympic silver medalist Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore at Amar Jawan Jyoti. A light drizzle and overcast conditions could not dampen the mood of thousands of people including students lined up both sides of the path holding national flags and showering floral tributes.

The convoy was accompanied by CWG mascot Shera, chief secretary Salauddin Ahmed, Jaipur MP Mahesh Joshi, secretary of sports and youth affairs, Rohit Kumar Arjun Award winners like Gopal Saini, Kuldeep Singh Garcha, Shriram Singh, Rajkumar, Surendra Kataria, Hanuman Singh, Dyanchand, Salim Durani were prominent among the sportspersons who joined the rally. The six-km course was dotted with hoardings and banners on the Games.

QBR culminated at Hawa Mahal after passing through MI Road, Sanganeri Gate and Chotte Chaupad. A cultural program at Jawahar Kala Kendra marked the event.

The Baton will proceed to Jodhpur on Thursday and after passing through Jaisalmer and Bikaner, it will move into Haryana on 26th September. The Baton will complete its 20,000 km journey before reaching New Delhi on September 30.

Multimedia Team Of Marwah Studios With QBR CWG At Daman And Diu

DAMAN, 13 September 2010: The Queens Baton Relay 2010 Delhi entered the Union territory of Daman and Diu with Multimedia Team of Marwah Studios with great fanfare. Cheering school children greeted the baton. Traditional Garba dancers of Daman, the city of twin forts, performed the colourful dance.

On its route, the relay passed through the streets and markets of the town where people gathered to witness the event. At Moti Daman, the traditional Daman ‘Machch‘dance was performed as part of the function.

Earlier in the day, the baton was received by Member of Parliament from Daman and Diu Mr. Lalubhai Patel and other Government officials.

The baton then left for Silvassa, capital of the Union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli. At Silvassa, the reception and the assemblage was phenomenal. The city avenues were full of cheering crowds, young and old. In an effort to conserve our environment, a tree plantation was held at Swami Narayan School.

The convoy then proceeded to Shaheed Chowk where the relay began. Traditional dancers and performers also lined up on the route. After the relay, the convoy reached Silvassa Stadium. Here a cultural programme was organised for the welcome of the baton. The programme was a combination of lively music and dance and a stupendous performance by Shera

Marwah Studios Multimedia Team At Pune With QBR CWG



PUNE: Organising Committee Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi Chairman Mr. Suresh Kalmadi, MP, led the welcome of the Queen’s Baton 2010 Delhi in his home town at a grand ceremony at the Bharati Vidyapeeth here on Thursday afternoon. A large crowd, feasting on music and dance, and a float advocating the message of sport greeted the baton.

The baton was then taken on an open jeep through the streets of Pune through Saras Bagh, Tilak Chowk, FC Road and Fergussan College. Fire dancers, sword fighters and sports lovers lined up the roads, cheering the baton and the batonbearers. The convoy reached Balewadi Sports Complex at 18:00 hours where the relay concluded.

The Pune Municipal Corporation hosted a reception where Maharashtra Minister of State for Home Mr. Ramesh Bagwe, PMC Leader of Opposition Aba Bagul, former India cricket captain Chandu Borde, hockey star Ajit Lakra, wrestling ace Harishchandra Birajdar, Davis Cup star Gaurav Natekar and others were present.

Seven-time National tennis champion Natekar said it was truly a memorable evening for him as it brought back memories of big events. The Baton finished the day at the Balewadi Sports Complex.

Earlier, Shivaji University Vice Chancellor Mr. MM Salunkhe flagged off the baton’s journey from Kolhapur. It was welcomed in Sangli with much fanfare, children waving the Tricolour. This was followed by another ceremony at Watha on the border of Satara district. A short relay was organised in Karad, including local officials, sportspeople and a large group of NCC cadets.

In Satara, a 5km relay followed the welcome. The people were excited and children had lined up along the streets, showering flowers and playing musical instruments. The relay concluded at the Satara Stadium from where the baton headed for Pune. En route, there were ceremonies at Gaurishankar Knowledge House, Vailatalenka and Shiral where the baton was garlanded by local officials and received by people with flowers and music.

HASSAN : 5th sept. The Multimedia Team of Marwah Studios is moving with The Queen’s Baton 2010 Delhi and now has reached Hassan, whose history dates back to the 11th century, after leaving the Karnataka capital Bangalore on Saturday. As in its journey around the Commonwealth and now in India, the Queen’s Baton helped spread the message of sport in the run up to next month’s Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi.

Four winners of Karnataka State’s Ekalavya Award – volleyball players T R. Ravindra and Supriya, kho kho star TS Siddhalinga Moorthy and ball badminton player Mahadev Gowda – joined Hassan district Deputy Commissioner Mr. Navin Raj Singh and Superintendent of Police Mr. Sharad Chauhan in leading thousands of residents who welcomed the baton.

In keeping with the trend witnessed on its journey so far, flowers were showered on the baton, firecrackers were burst and many tricoloured balloons were released to mark the arrival of the baton in the city. An enthusiastic crowd lined up along the 5.2 km relay from the district border to the city stadium.

“On its way from Bangalore to Hassan the baton received a grand welcome at the Mahatma Gandhi Government Pre University at Kunigal.” Informed Sandeep Marwah while speaking to Radio Noida who are partners with Multi Media Team.

Marwah Studios Team With Queen’s Baton Relay At Kochi




The city will have the attention of the nation's sporting fraternity as the XIX Commonwealth Games Queen's Baton Relay makes its way around with receptions at 17 locations here on the National Sports Day on Sunday.
The baton reached the city on Saturday, accompanied by a convoy of vehicles and a full fledged multi media team of Marwah Studios, the only official media team of the relay, after an official reception at the Cochin International Airport in Nedumbassery. District Collector M Beena received the torch, after its Lakshadweep leg, from Commander VN Singh who is leading a team of 91 delegates during the baton's journey across the nation.
Olympians TC Yohannan, O Chandrashekharan and Shiny Wilson will receive the baton from the District Collector at the Maharaja's College Stadium at 9 a.m., marking the start of the Kochi leg. Sports Minister M Vijayakumar, Fisheries Minister S Sarma, along with MPs, MLAs, sports officials and athletes will be present at the ceremony.
The Southern Naval Command and the Kochi City Police will accord special receptions to the Queen's Baton relay.
At the Travancore Gate, Southern Naval Command Flag Officer Commanding in Chief Vice Admiral KN Sushil will join the Navy's sportsmen, accompanied by the Navy band, to receive the baton.
Ernakulam Range IG B Sandhya, City Police Commissioner Manoj Abraham and Deputy Commissioner PH Ashraf will lead the police during the function at High Court Junction.
In view of the event, security has been tightened, with commandos helping the police, the Collector's office has said.” We at Marwah Studios at Noida, keeping full check on our multimedia team” said Sandeep Marwah, President Marwah studios.

Queen’s Baton Relay Team Highlighted At ASMS




The whole Campus of Asian School of Media Studies was bubbling with high energy when Multi Media Team members of Queen’s Baton Relay entered into the campus. The Students started shouting slogans and Hip! Hip! Hurray! to the former students of ASMS who are representing Marwah Studios, a creative enterprise the only official coverage team of the Relay appointed by the Common Wealth Games 2010.

“Poonam Singh, Neeraj Sauda and Abhinav lal from ASMS are the three media stars who have brought the name of the school to World fame” said Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios.. “The eight hours film short and edit to small clippings by these film makers is distributed to the whole world media to be seen on different channels everyday’ Marwah added.

“I am thoroughly impressed by the honesty and hard work of these guys” said Adam Best from Australia, consultants from Maxxam Events International, who is the in charge for events of Common Wealth Games Delhi. “Their professionalism shows the level of education at Asian School of Media Studies” said Matt Day the event coordinator of Queen’s Baton Relay.

Others who spoke on the occasion to highlight the works of ASMS students were Surbie, Parul, the coordinator QBR, Prof Harshvardhan the course Director and Prof. R.K.Singh Dean Asian School Of Media Studies who also paid vote of thanks. .Sandeep Marwah presented the life membership of International Film and Television Club to the guests representing Common Wealth Games 2010. IPBF'S Documentary Film On Commonwealth Games 2010

The International Public Broadcasting Forum has announced documentary on the 100 days of Queen’s Baton Relay which started from Wagah Boarder and will finish in New Delhi.

“It is our honor and privilege to be part of Commonwealth Games 2010, that has induced us to go head with the making of another documentary on the ‘Queen’s Baton Relay 100 days’” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chairperson of International Public Broadcasting Forum while appreciating the film makers team which has already started covering Queen’s Baton Relay from last few days.

“I am enjoying coordinating this documentary from Delhi and will see to it that all those precious moments must be recorded which need to be the part of this Documentary” said R.K.Singh Vice President of International Public Broadcasting Forum.

This Documentary will be other than the part of the Multi Media agreement which Marwah Studios has signed with the Organizing Committee of Commonwealth Games 2010.

Radio Noida Will Cover Queen's Baton Relay For 100 Days


Radio Noida 107.4FM, a subsidiary of Marwah Studios and part of Asian Education Group preparing and gearing up to cover Commonwealth Games 2010 everyday and will start its special programs on this great International event

“We are very excited to be associated with Commonwealth Games 2010 and we have decided to cover the games and all associated events everyday starting from the entry of baton from Wagah Boarder on 25 june to the end of the games” said Sandeep Marwah the renowned international personality and President of Marwah Studios to the large media gathering on receiving the official agreement from the Organizing Committee of XIX Commonwealth Games 2010, Delhi under the Chairman ship of Suresh Kalmadi.

Marwah Studios Join Hands With Commonwealth Games For 100 Days


“Now we are committed to Commonwealth Games 2010 for 100 days after being officially appointed as the Multi Media Supporters to XXIX Commonwealth Games Delhi, 2010 after signing an official agreement with the organizing committee.” said Sandeep Marwah renowned International Media personality and President of Marwah Studios.

After crossing 70 countries 1,70,000 km over 240 days, the Queen’s baton relay for the XIX Commonwealth Games will reach India on Friday. The baton will enter India from Pakistan through the Wagah-Attari Border on June 25 at 9.25 am. After a grand ceremony, the baton’s national relay will kicked off. The theme of the event is Friendship through sports.

The Multi-Media Teams ( Print, Radio, TV, Internet and Film ) of Marwah Studios will move with the baton and will visit all 28 states and 7 Union territories of India over next 100 days. More than 5000 baton bearers will relay it across 200 cities. This is the longest Queen’s baton relay ever in the history of Commonwealth Games, said Suresh Kalmadi chairman of organizing Committee.

The baton will arrive in Delhi on September 30, after three day relay in the capital the baton will be docked at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium during the opening ceremony.

Commonwealth Games 2010 multi media control room camp has been established at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida under the Vice President ship of R.K.Singh who will control 100 days operations.

Marwah Studios Will Provide Volunteers For Commonwealth Games 2010

All the institutions working under Marwah Studios Creative Enterprises including AAFT Asian Academy of Film And Television, ABS Asian Business School, ASMS Asian School Of Media Studies, ASGA Asian School Of Graphics and Animation and ASPA Asian School of Performing Arts have joined hands with the working committee for providing Media Volunteers to the forthcoming Commonwealth Games 2010 in Delhi.

“We are not only excited but feeling proud to be associated with the Games. We will be part of the history which is going to take place in Delhi from 3rdth Oct to 14th Oct. 2010” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

The special training has been organized for the 100 media students by the organizing committee of Commonwealth Games so that they can assist and help all the foreign media teams arriving from different countries of the world to cover this mega event in New Delhi.

The Queen’s Baton Relay 2010 Delhi is the unifying force for all irrespective of caste and creed repeated Upasna Singhal, Director RHB Relations broadcasting of Broadcasting Committee CWG. Friendship through sports is the theme of baton’s arrival at Wagah Border. The baton will unite the whole country as it will pass through 28 states and 7 union territories of the country.

Sandeep Marwah has nominated R.K.Singh the former Engineer in Chief Doordarshan and Dean Asian School of Media Studies as Vice President, Organizing Committee, Common Wealth Games, Delhi 2010 of Marwah studios.
