Asian School Of Graphics And Animation Works Global Film Festival




The 3rd Global Film Festival Noida 2010 has attracted many National and International organizations as its partners in progress and Asian School of Media Studies has also now become the part of this festival to be held on 12-14th November at Marwah Studios Complex Noida Film City.

“We want young and enthusiastic students of Asian School of Graphics and Animation to come forward and get themselves associate with the requirements of the 3rd edition of Global Film festival as far as graphics and animation is concerned” said Sandeep Marwah President of the Festival.

“I am sure ASGA students are going to give their best which is going to be the world class. I know ASGA has the best facilities available.” said R.K .Singh the festival Director-GFF.

The festival has segments for national and international films, workshops, exhibitions, seminars, interactions, releases, launching of forums, release of new film, networking lunches and gala dinners.

Marwah Studios Team With Queen’s Baton Relay At Kochi




The city will have the attention of the nation's sporting fraternity as the XIX Commonwealth Games Queen's Baton Relay makes its way around with receptions at 17 locations here on the National Sports Day on Sunday.
The baton reached the city on Saturday, accompanied by a convoy of vehicles and a full fledged multi media team of Marwah Studios, the only official media team of the relay, after an official reception at the Cochin International Airport in Nedumbassery. District Collector M Beena received the torch, after its Lakshadweep leg, from Commander VN Singh who is leading a team of 91 delegates during the baton's journey across the nation.
Olympians TC Yohannan, O Chandrashekharan and Shiny Wilson will receive the baton from the District Collector at the Maharaja's College Stadium at 9 a.m., marking the start of the Kochi leg. Sports Minister M Vijayakumar, Fisheries Minister S Sarma, along with MPs, MLAs, sports officials and athletes will be present at the ceremony.
The Southern Naval Command and the Kochi City Police will accord special receptions to the Queen's Baton relay.
At the Travancore Gate, Southern Naval Command Flag Officer Commanding in Chief Vice Admiral KN Sushil will join the Navy's sportsmen, accompanied by the Navy band, to receive the baton.
Ernakulam Range IG B Sandhya, City Police Commissioner Manoj Abraham and Deputy Commissioner PH Ashraf will lead the police during the function at High Court Junction.
In view of the event, security has been tightened, with commandos helping the police, the Collector's office has said.” We at Marwah Studios at Noida, keeping full check on our multimedia team” said Sandeep Marwah, President Marwah studios.
The baton will leave for Thrissur on Monday

Colorful Farewell to Seniors At Asian School of Media Studies




It was an electrifying performance by the students of ASMS in a jam packed hall. Saying good bye to senior students of Asian School Of Media Studies by juniors via music, dance, song, drama and presentation of mementos made the whole environment loving and emotional.

Speaking on the occasion the Director Sandeep Marwah reminded all the media students their duties and responsibilities towards society. He said, “The roads may be beautiful but you need willingness and ability to walk on them, you may be producing the best of product in print, radio, television, cinema or new media never forget that it is for the audience thus you cannot forget masses.”

“We have put in our best as far as education, co circular activities, practical, interactions, productions, visits of dignities, workshops, seminars etc are concerned now it is your turn to prove to be the best student of ASMS” said Prof. R.K.Singh dean Asian School Of Media Studies reminding of their approaching exams.

The program was attended by all the faculty members including Dr. Latika sahani dean ABS, Dr. Om Gupta dean writing dept. The students also selected miss and mr. ASMS for this year 2009-2010.

Anime Cine Experience Inaugurated At Siri Fort




The festival of Animation films from Japan ‘Anime Cine Experience’ was inaugurated at Siri Fort with great pomp and show. The festival which has been designed by the voluntary organization Cine Darbar supported by Directorate of Film festivals of India, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, Embassy of Japan in India, Japan Foundation and AAFT’s Asian School of Graphics And Animation as knowledge partners.

“We are here at Siri Fort to promote film business to great extend, this animation film festival is one in the series as animation films are becoming part of our daily routine” said S.M.Khan, Director General and Director of Directorate of Film festivals, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India while inaugurating the festival.

“We are very happy to support this festival as all films shown in this festival are from my country. I am excited that Japanese product has impressed Indian” said Kojira Uchiyama, Director, Japan Information Centre, “Our role is to support all that which is connected to Japan.” said Director General, The Japan Foundation in New Delhi.

“The Animation and Gamming business is coming up in a big way in India. There are 300 companies working in this industry with almost 12000 people. Another 3000 people working on free lancing bases. The turnover has touched almost 1600 crores including 600 crores as export of services. The industry is growing at the rate of 15 percent but the best part is that we are just 2 percent of the World Business” informed Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Director of Asian School of Graphics and Animation.

ANIME CINE EXPERIENCE IN DELHI




Cine Darbaar, in collaboration with the Embassy of Japan, Directorate of Film Festivals, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, Japan Foundation and Asian School Of Graphics And Animation [ASGA] as knowledge partners is organizing a 3-day Animation film festival at Siri Fort auditorium on the 20th, 21st & 22nd August, 2010.

It’s the first time that a festival will be celebrating Japanese-Anime, Manga (Comics) and Pop-culture in India. Anime Cine Experience will be bringing the great anime works of Japan with films like The Girl who leapt through time, Grave of the fireflies, 5cm per second, Voices of Distant Star and The Place Promised in Our Early Days.

“To give the audience a wider understanding of Anime, the festival will have workshops and special discussions will be conducted by Shubham Mauria and Kshitiz Anand’’ informed Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Director of Asian School Of Graphics And Animation.

Apart from these workshops, festival is also organizing a short-film competition. A Short Anime corner will screen the 10 best short films and the top three films will be awarded. The festival will also have a photography exhibition on Japan.

A film journal Indian Auteur will be publishing a special issue on Anime for the festival with the help of Japan Foundation and knowledge partners Asian School of Graphics and Animation.The Festival is supported by International Film And Television Club, International Children’s Film Forum and Radio Noida.

Effective Placement Wing At Asian Education Group


“There is no channel, production house, film company, media house in print, radio, television, cinema or new media where our students are not working” said Sandeep Marwah the president of Marwah Studios and Director of AAFT a media universe in Noida consisting of Asian Academy Of Film And Television, Asian School of Media Studies, Asian Business School, Asian School of Graphics And Animation and Asian School of Performing Arts.

“We have trained 7500 students in media hailing from 73 countries of the World in 40 different courses ranging from 3months to 3years” said Prof. Harshvardhan, Director (Academics) of Asian Education Group. “ and most of the students are working in their chosen field” he added.

It is the policy of Asian Education Group to alter, amend, add, subtract, correct and mould their courses according to the requirement of the industry so that the pass out students should be adjusted into the market in no time.
