Students Delegation From Japan Visited Marwah Studios


Sandeep Marwah Honored by Goa University For Japan Relations


Noida: Eight students from different courses of Japan Universities in supervision and exchange program with Goa University visited Marwah Studios to know better about the media and entertainment Industry of India.

“We are the largest film producing country in the World, media and entertainment industry ranks sixth in the country and adding a lot to the total of GDP of the country,” Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios briefed the students.

Sandeep Marwah also gave the complete information about the Marwah  Studios and Asian Education Group and answered many questions related to cinema.

Later Sandeep Marwah presented participation certificates to all the participants and give them opportunity to be part of Radio Noida 107.4Fm and MSTV.

Goa University honored Sandeep Marwah with memento for his untiring contribution to the promotion of Indo Japan Relations and being Chair for Indo Japan Film And Cultural Forum.

India And Japan Will Promote Arts Together


Noida: The visit of Kenko Sone Minister Economic & Development of Embassy of Japan to the International Head Quarters of ICMEI brought new energy into the relation between Inter National Chamber of Media And Entertainment and Embassy of Japan.

ICMEI President Dr. Sandeep Marwah presented a large picture of different activities of CMEI and Marwah Studios consisting of film, television, media, art, culture, tourism, hospitality, fashion and design, New Media etc.

“We are already dealing with Japanese performers related to arts and culture and have been lucky to host some powerful events in last few years. We are open for more activities in the coming months. Indo Japan Film And Cultural forum is already in touch with Japanese foundation,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

“We are ready to extend our hand in joining with ICMEI and Marwah Studios for further enhancing our relations between India and Japan through art and culture,” said Kenko Sone Minister Embassy of Japan.

Sandeep Marwah honored and presented life membership of International Film And Television Club of AAFT to Kenko Sone and Tonoko Wada to be part of Indo Japan Film And Cultural Forum.

Japanese Film Director Norihiro Koizumi at AAFT

Noida: A renowned Japanese Film Maker Norihiro Koizumi screened his popular film Chihayafuru Musubi at AAFT School of Cinema, which was highly appreciated by the audience. The two-hour film has been the biggest grocer in Japan.

“We appreciate the gesture extended by Japan Foundaton for making us the part of on going Japanese Film Festival in Delhi and arranging the interaction of Cinema students with renowned film director Norihiro Koizumi. It was eye opener for all of us,” said Sandeep Marwah welcoming and introducing Japanese delegation to the students and teachers of Asian Education Group.

“We are lucky to see this film, we would have missed it if it would not have been screened at our campus. We students are much thankful to the cinema department,” said many students after the screening of the film.

“In japan we may not churn- out so many  films as India do, but our films have now doing very well internationally. We are promoting our films through film festivals,” said Kaoru Miyamoto Director General of The Japan Foundation.

Norihiro Koizumi answered many questuons put up by students to know film details and the story and screen play methods. The director was accompanied by Masafumi Konomi Senior Project Manager Film and Broadcast Media Department.

Sandeep Marwah Invited By Japanese Cultural Organization




“It is hard to believe the kind of work Sandeep Marwah has done in these last few years, he is a university in himself” said Arun Bhasin from Osaka, Japan during his visit to Noida Film City, India.

I am going back with an excellent impression of Indian Film , TV and Media Industry as projected by Sandeep Marwah at his studios. Marwah deserves an international appreciation and I am sure our cultural organizations at Japan will feel proud to honor him in Japan for his dedicated services to the Entertainment World.

Arun Bhasin and his wife Harumi Aarti Bhasin associated with number of cultural and social organization in Osaka from last many years. “ I am thankful to Arun for inviting me to Japan and his offer to attend this award function” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios. Marwah has been in media for 25 years and associated with promotion of theatre, films, television, print media, new media, events, music in a big way from Noida film city- his creation since 1986.

Anime Cine Experience Inaugurated At Siri Fort




The festival of Animation films from Japan ‘Anime Cine Experience’ was inaugurated at Siri Fort with great pomp and show. The festival which has been designed by the voluntary organization Cine Darbar supported by Directorate of Film festivals of India, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, Embassy of Japan in India, Japan Foundation and AAFT’s Asian School of Graphics And Animation as knowledge partners.

“We are here at Siri Fort to promote film business to great extend, this animation film festival is one in the series as animation films are becoming part of our daily routine” said S.M.Khan, Director General and Director of Directorate of Film festivals, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India while inaugurating the festival.

“We are very happy to support this festival as all films shown in this festival are from my country. I am excited that Japanese product has impressed Indian” said Kojira Uchiyama, Director, Japan Information Centre, “Our role is to support all that which is connected to Japan.” said Director General, The Japan Foundation in New Delhi.

“The Animation and Gamming business is coming up in a big way in India. There are 300 companies working in this industry with almost 12000 people. Another 3000 people working on free lancing bases. The turnover has touched almost 1600 crores including 600 crores as export of services. The industry is growing at the rate of 15 percent but the best part is that we are just 2 percent of the World Business” informed Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Director of Asian School of Graphics and Animation.

Anime Cine Experience has brought great anime works of Japan with films like ‘The Girl who leapt through time’, ‘Grave of the fireflies’, ‘5cm per second’, ‘Voices of Distant Star’ and ‘The Place Promised in Our Early Days’

Japanese Film Festival At Marwah Studios

“ It’s not only a film festival but a cultural exchange between two countries, the Japanese films today are representing my country in this campus of Media Professionals ” said Teriyuki Hoshini Director, Japan Foundation in India while inaugurating the two days Japanese Film Festival at Marwah Studios organized by Asian School of Media Studies.

The two days Japanese films Festival will show four films: High and Low- Akira Kurosawa, End of Summer – Yasujiri Ozu, Godzilla- Inshiro Honda and Kill directed by Kinchi Onomoto. The films represent the culture, tradition and heritage of Japanese cinema presenting the best in domain of film culture. The screening is also accompanied by workshops by Cine darbaar to bring a greater degree of understanding and know how of Japanese cinema.

Addressing to the large gathering of film, television and media students Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chairperson of International Film and Television Club, thanked the director of the Japan Foundation for the contribution towards this remarkable culture exchanged and presented him with the life membership of International Film & Television Club of AAFT.

Others who spoke on the occasion were Kalyan Sarkar, Gurbir Garewal, R.K.Singh and Harsh vardhan. The festival is dully supported by Radio Noida 107.4 FM, International Film & Television Research Center, International Children’s Film Forum and International Public Broadcasting Forum.
