Education Takes You To A Better Platform-Sandeep Marwah




“It is very important for creative persons to go through a proper education and training in acting or any other discipline so that they can grow better and start from a higher platform in life” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Director of Asian School of performing Arts of AAFT while congratulating Ahran Chaudhary a pass out of the school.

“Time has come when I would like to prove to my Institution that I can do it and the hard and honest efforts what my teachers have put- in are on the right direction” said Ahran Chaudhary who has won the title of MR GLADRAGS 2010 in Mumbai this month.

The institution Asian School Of Performing Arts of AAFT is celebrating the success of its student Ahran Chaudhary and going to facilitate him at the campus soon. Sandeep Marwah will be handing over the life membership of International Film And Television club IFTC to him on the day of event.

IFTRC Promoted Documentation Centre At Global Festival Of Films 2009



Some of the finest documentary films were screened during the day followed by the release of set of seven technical books on film making prepared by the documentation department of International Film And Television Research Centre of Marwah Studios on the first day of 2nd Global festival of Documentary films 2009 at inaugural dinner at Noida Film City.

Basu Chatterjee, Pankaj Parashar, Manoj Pahwa together released the set of books at the glamorous evening supported by the presence of media, film and tv personalities.” I am pleased that the organizers have not forgotten the importance of film and tv education even during this glamorous and happening evening, I endorse the idea of Global Festival of Films” said Basu Chatterjee .”Releasing book is no less than a step towards spirituality, I am elevated by this gesture” said Pankaj Parashar. “I must carry these books and study them I will gain knowledge” said Manoj Pahwa.

The president of the festival Sandeep Marwah spoke about the International Film and TV Research Centre and the festival director Suman Bajaj Kalra paid vote of thanks.

“I have always convinced my self with the story, if I am satisfied then only I jump for direction” said the renowned film maker Basu Chatterjee, who has directed more than 50 feature films like Rajangandha, Chitchor, Choti Si Baat, Pasand Apni Apni and TV serials like Rajani, Kakaji and many others while talking to the students of AAFT, ASMS and ABS on the occasion of seminar organized on the first day of 2nd Global Festival Of Documentary Films at Noida Film City.

Commenting on latest trends of bollywood he clearly said to media that there is no formula of successful films. It is the conviction of film makers and his passion which drives him to go for the next venture even if the last film has not done well. “I am too pleased to be here at AAFT for Global Festival Of Documentary Films and will continue to see films at IFFI next week.” Basu added.

I have decided to prepare a library of all the films of Basu Chatterjee which I believe will bring a new thinking in the minds of young film makers, said Sandeep Marwah.

In a jam packed auditorium the president of Marwah Studios and GFF Sandeep Marwah honoured Basu Chatterjee with the life membership of International Film and Television Club.

63rd Festival Of Short Digital Films At AAFT

“It’s a great pleasure to see the creative product of young film makers .The film schools are nursery for film technicians”, said Vijay Goel, Chief Guest and former Union Minister, Government Of India while inaugurating the 63rd Festival of Short digital Films at Asian Academy Of Film And Television, Marwah Studios, Film City Noida. The festival is organized by International Film And Television Club [IFTC] and has 15 best films made by the students in the last batch of AAFT produced by Marwah Films And Video Production, a production house under the leadership of Sandeep Marwah.

“I had the opportunity to be in different countries of the World, but the kind of Film and TV education AAFT is providing in India, it is commendable.” Said Krishna V. Rajan, an IFS and former Ambassador to Nepal and Chairman of Universal Peace Federation [India Chapter].

“I am proud that I could create an International Record with the students of AAFT, and could produce 1500 short films with the young film makers of 70 countries of the World.” informed Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios.

The other speakers who spoke on the occasion were Vinod Zusti, a TV producer Director, Arun Kumar of International Sports Entertainment Ltd, Anoop Bhandari Editor Models and Trend, Kalyan Sarkar Dean AAFT. Later Sandeep Marwah presented Academy Award to Rajesh Bajaj the alumnae of AAFT from 6th Batch for his sincere contribution to Film and TV Industry. Rajesh Bajaj has been the director of more than 150 advertisement films, writer director of known film ‘Hari Puttar’,and now working in Hollywood with Oscar winning actor Helly Berry as writer/Director.
Others who were present there Gurbir Garewal,Kannan,Lalit Kumar,Satish Anand,Adil Rana,Mansoor Naqvi,Bharat Barikh,Prabhat,Abhinav Bajpai,Kamana,Seema Gupta,Viney Kumar,etc.

Nagendra Karri, the Indian born film maker who owns Eternal Mind Production LLC in New York was recently at Asian Academy of Film And Television to meet the President Sandeep Marwah whom he first met at 62nd Cannes Film Festival.
Nagendra went through the whole campus of Marwah Studios and met the students who all were busy with their own productions. ”I am Keen to partner with Marwah Studios for my next venture called “Mobster” which will be shot in multi locales including India, said Karri while releasing the new publications of International Film And Television Research Centre of AAFT.
“We have publication Department where we publish books and journals related to film, Television and Media.” said Sandeep Marwah. “Our International Film and Television Research Center is the first research Centre of the country” added Marwah. Later Marwah presented a set of books to the guest of the day.
Marwah informed that Nagendra Karri has announced this new film after the successful debut screening of his first Directorial Venture “Where are you Sophia?” a suspenseful psychological thriller at the recently concluded Cannes Film festival. Karri, who directed, produced and wrote the film at the age of 26, has masters in computer science and electronics and a background in theater. Karri is quite keen in giving opportunity to the Acting and Technical students of AAFT and ASMS in his forth coming film.

Film Workshop At AAFT By American Film Maker

The American Center, New Delhi and AAFT Asian Academy Of Film And Television, Noida together organized a film workshop at Marwah Studios by renowned American documentary film maker and writer from New York City Sadia Shepard on the making of her documentary. Sadia was accompanied by the senior officer from American Center Diane Brandt who introduced the lady to the large gathering of media students from different discipline of film making.

Sadia Shepard left New York for Bombay on a Fulbright Scholarship, her goal to try to understand the history and future of the tiny Indian Jewish community that her grandmother was born into and left to marry her Muslim grand father. Sadia spent nearly two years recording her experiences in film ,video and writing, which became the basis of her first book,” The Girl From Foreign: A Search For Shipwrecked Ancestors, Forgotten Histoties And A Sense Of Home”.
Sadia spoke about her book and then there was screening of the film “ In Search Of The Bene Israel” followed by the question answer session. The workshop finished with vote of thanks by Dean Kalyan Sarkar and Sandeep Marwah the president of Marwah Studios also the chairperson of Entertainment Committee of Indo American Chamber of Commerce presented life membership of International Film And Television Club to Sadia Shepard and Diane Brandt

Anil Kapoor Brought Marwah Studios To World Fame

With the winning of the Golden Globes Award on the 66th Award ceremony in USA to the film SLUMDOD MILLIONAIRE where Super Hero Of Indian Cinema Anil Kapoor has performed an important role and was on the stage to receive the four awards given to this film not only brought India to the World fame but also brought Marwah Studios and Asian Academy Of Film And Television to the World Recognition.
Anil Kapoor the performer in more than 100 films of Indian Film Industry is on the Board of Directors of Internationaly known Marwah Studios and AAFT Asian Academy Of Film And TV ,the institution already attracting students from more than 70 countries of the World .The International President of the Society Sandeep Marwah received the messages of congratulations from all over the world . Marwah Studios, the family of 6000 media professionals and its embassies and in 70 countries celebrating the success in a big way. Asian Academy Honored Hollywood Star Michael J Fox

“I am very excited to meet the young Indian Actors at Asian Academy Of Film And TV and so well they have preformed”, said Michael J Fox expressing his views after admiring the performance of acting students of the biggest film school of this part of the World. “I am thankful to Sandeep Mawah, the president of the school for entertaining me and the unit of ABC.” who are shooting a documentary on Michel J Fox and his visit to Asian Academy Film And Television AAFT in India.
“I have learned with every performance and every award is the source of inspiration for me to look forward.” added Michael J Fox while addressing the students at Marwah Studios .Michael has been in nomination for Golden Globe Awards for ten times and has received four times. He has been nominated ten times for Emmy Awards and also received four of then. He has received two times Screen Guilds Award for his Acting .His all time hit films” Back to The Future I, II and III” ,The American President, The Frighteners brought him many laurels .Michael F Fox has been rated as best actor for his performance in television serials like Spin City, Family Ties, Boston Legal, Tied With Bill Cosby, ect.The whole campus of Asian Academy Of Film And TV was bubbling with excitement on the arrival of this giant Actor from Hollywood who talked about positive energy and hard work with the all acting students .Sandeep Marwah the President of Marwah Studios and founder of Noida Film City extended his heartiest thanks to Michael J Fox by presenting him the Life Membership and Patron ship of International Film And Television Club
