Noida Film City, India: An inspiring exhibition of award-winning still photographs created by the talented students of the AAFT School of Photography was inaugurated with great enthusiasm at Marwah Studios on the occasion of International Journalism Day, celebrated during the 14th Global Festival of Journalism & AVGC Noida 2026.

The prestigious exhibition was inaugurated by a distinguished panel of eminent personalities including Veteran Sports Journalist Vimal Kumar, Media Strategic Advisor Amitabh Srivastav, Ilie Surulescu from the Embassy of Romania, Ravi Kant Mittal, Editor-in-Chief of IBC24 News, Cdr. K. L. Ganju, Hon. Consul of the Union of Comoros, Sanjeev Paliwal, Senior Journalist from Sahitya Aaj Tak, Ntsukunyane Daniel Tsenoli from the High Commission of Lesotho, and Dr. Rabindra Narayan Behera, Member of Parliament.

The exhibition showcased a remarkable collection of still photographs capturing powerful moments, social narratives, human emotions, nature, culture, and contemporary issues. The artistic depth, technical precision, and storytelling ability of the students received immense appreciation from guests and visitors from across India and abroad.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chancellor of AAFT University, emphasized the timeless value of still photography in media and creative education. He stated: “Still photography is an integral part of every discipline taught at AAFT — including Cinema, Journalism, Animation, Fashion, Digital Media, and Interior Design. A strong foundation in photography enhances visual sensitivity and storytelling across all creative domains.”

He further added his reflections on the art form: “Photographs are everlasting memories.” “One picture is equal to a thousand words.” Dr. Marwah highlighted that photography remains one of the most powerful tools of journalism, preserving history and presenting truth with clarity and impact. The exhibition served as a vibrant reminder of the role visual media plays in shaping public perception and documenting society.

The event concluded with enthusiastic interactions between students and dignitaries, reinforcing AAFT’s commitment to nurturing creative excellence and professional standards in visual arts. Noida Film City, India: The electrifying inauguration of the Esport Xtream Champions League marked yet another milestone during the prestigious Global Festival of Journalism & AVGC Noida 2026 at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida. The dynamic event was organized by the AAFT School of Animation, bringing together distinguished dignitaries, media stalwarts, diplomats, and gaming enthusiasts from India and abroad.

The Esport Xtream Champions League was formally inaugurated by an eminent panel of guests including Veteran Sports Journalist Vimal Kumar, Media Strategic Advisor Amitabh Srivastav, Ilie Surulescu from the Embassy of Romania, Ravi Kant Mittal, Editor-in-Chief of IBC24 News, Cdr. Noida, India: A defining moment of international collaboration and cinematic purpose marked the grand opening of the 18th Global Film Festival Noida at Marwah Film City, as the poster of the newly instituted CINEKIND Award was ceremoniously unveiled on the inaugural stage. The launch, graced by an esteemed gathering of Ambassadors, High Commissioners, and senior diplomats from across the world, emerged as one of the most powerful highlights of the opening ceremony, reinforcing the festival’s global stature and commitment to meaningful cinema.

The poster was unveiled in the distinguished presence of H.E. Juris Bone, Ambassador of Latvia; H.E. Alberto Antonio Guani, Ambassador of Uruguay; H.E. Karlito Nunes, Ambassador of Timor Leste; Cdr. 9th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 2025 – Sets a New Benchmark in Creativity and Cultural Expression

Noida, India – May 2025: The third showcase of the 9th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 2025 held at Marwah Studios turned out to be the most captivating and immersive presentation yet, reaffirming the global relevance and artistic depth of this unique fashion and design celebration.

Festival President Dr. Sandeep Marwah, also the Founder of Noida Film City, proudly stated, “We believe in nurturing creativity and giving complete freedom to our artists. This event is not merely about fashion; it’s a tribute to global heritage and individual expression through the medium of art and design.” He added that this year, over 80 countries are represented, showcasing 550 unique garments, 125 pieces of designer furniture, 6 art and fashion exhibitions, 250 designers, and numerous cultural activities. The scale of preparation was extraordinary, with over 500 professionals and students working diligently for more than 60 days to bring the spectacle to life.

The third session featured distinguished Guests of Honour who added immense value to the celebration: Ankit Jain, Business Leader and Innovator, Anuj Chabhra, Design Consultant, Supriya Munshi, Style Analyst and Brand Strategist, Kaushik Ghosh, Fashion Personality, Kirti Mishra Naran, Creative Director and Cultural Curator.

One of the highlights of the evening was the official launch of the coffee table book titled “Fashion as an Art” authored by Ms. Ishaani Duggal, which eloquently documented fashion’s evolution as a cultural force and visual language.

The runway sparkled with breathtaking country-themed collections crafted by AAFT School of Fashion and Design students: Hansika presented an elegant High Fashion line for Slovakia, Mehak represented Lesotho with stylish Smart Casuals, Varsha amazed with Haute Couture inspired by Morocco, Meenakshi evoked the flair of Lebanon through Cocktail Wear, Jtoyi embraced Malaysia with a sophisticated Smart Casual collection, Anjali Bohra brought Serbia to life through Traditional Wear, Deepali beautifully showcased Turkey’s heritage attire, Rashid Dev and Manshi collaborated to display Street Wear from the USA, Tamanna rounded off the show with a rich array of Indian Traditional Wear.

Each presentation was not just a display of fashion but an act of storytelling—fusing fabric, design, and emotion into a powerful narrative. The creative synergy between global culture and local craftsmanship was on full display, turning the runway into a bridge of unity and diversity.

The day marked yet another triumph for AAFT’s Global Fashion and Design Week, placing it firmly among the most vibrant educational fashion forums in the world.

Noida, India – October 24, 2024 – The much-anticipated first poster for the 17th Global Film Festival Noida (GFFN) 2024 was officially released today during a prestigious ceremony held at AAFT Marwah Film City, Noida. The poster was unveiled by Her Excellency Dr. Capaya Rodríguez G, the Ambassador of Venezuela to India, and Her Excellency Adv. Lebohang Valentine Mochaba, the High Commissioner of the Kingdom of Lesotho, during the celebration of the 8th Dr. Sarojini Naidu International Award for Working Women.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of GFFN, expressed excitement for the upcoming festival, stating, “We are marching towards the 17th edition of the Global Film Festival. The number itself speaks volumes about the event’s prominence. GFFN has established itself as the largest film festival in North India. We have proudly welcomed delegates from 156 countries to Marwah Studios in Noida, and it will once again be a challenge to surpass the previous festivals in terms of quality and scale.”

Her Excellency Dr. Capaya Rodríguez G, the Ambassador of Venezuela to India, praised the festival’s impact and its role in fostering global cultural exchange.

Noida, India – The 8th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 2024, under the visionary leadership of Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios, has been hailed as one of the most impressive fashion events in India and the largest ever conducted at any fashion institution worldwide. The event was a grand celebration of creativity, culture, and couture, bringing together talent from across the globe in an unparalleled display of fashion and design excellence.

Over the course of three days, the event featured: 600 Dresses, 100 Designers, 72 Countries Participations, 90 Rounds, 9 Major Shows, 4 Exhibitions, 700 Participants including models, makeup artists, and backstage crews, 7 Coffee Table Books launched

Sandeep Marwah expressed his pride and excitement to a full house of attendees eagerly awaiting the commencement of the 7th show on the third day, stating, “Achieving such a monumental event with three months of preparation is no small feat, but the creativity and dedication displayed here make it all worthwhile.”

The inauguration ceremony was graced by prominent personalities including filmmaker and broadcaster Anoop Bose, Col. Noida: One Hundred Photographers from all over India participated in the grand photography exhibition titled “AN EYE’ planned during 8th Global Festival of Journalism at Marwah Studios Film City Noida.

“It is the custom at Marwah Studios to have an exhibition in every major festival. This time one Hundred photographers from AAFT School of Photography submitted their best work for the exhibition. It was difficult for the department to choose pictures for the show as all of them were very exclusive,” introduced the exhibition by Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of International Journalism Centre, ICMEI and AAFT at the inauguration of 8th Global Festival.

“What a collection! I am sure no picture could have been rejected,” encouraged by H.E. Muhamed Cengic an international photographer and Ambassador of Bosnia & Herzegovina to India while lighting the ceremonial lamp.

“I can see the variety of work, portraits, animals, historical monuments, public, flowers this shows the depth of knowledge of the photographers and their varied interests,” motivated H.E. Radu Octavian Dobre, Ambassador of Romania to India

“Taking an image, freezing a moment, reveals how rich reality truly is, Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving,” said H.E. Michael Aaron N. N. Oquaye, High Commissioner Republic of Ghana

Noida: The most exclusive festival, first of its kind in Asia and second in the World saw the grand opening of its 8th edition at Noida Film City hosted by    Marwah Studios.

The colorful flags of different nations were quite inviting and speaking about the international presence at the festival. In total 56 countries have been part of this festival where as delegates from all the 28 states and 9 union territories were present in the festival.

“ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry-and International Journalism Centre together have designed this festival to mark respect to the decision of having International Day of Journalism on 12th February which was declared nine years back by our association,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Global Festival of Journalism.

Media creates perception, time has come when all mediums of media keep in mind the unity and integrity of the nation should not be at stake when they write or speak and show any coverage. Country is definitely bigger than profession,” said Tirath Singh Rawat Member Parliament Lok Sabha and Secretary BJP.

“I appreciate the bye line   given to this festival-Love Peace And Unity Through Art And Culture. Positive journalism can bring new ife to the relations,” said H.E. Dr. Marjan Cencen, Ambassador of Slovenia to India.

“Do your research well before you write a piece for press. Your deep research can bring correct information to the reader. People still believe blindly   what all has been printed or shown on television.  You have a great responsibility towards reader and viewer,” said H.E. Radu Octavian Dobre, one time journalist and now Ambassador of Romania to India.

“A media person must aware of his duties and responsibilities. More than that he should also be attentive towards media laws. His coverage can provoke and can depress the masses. A balanced and researched news or article for any medium is always useful,” said H.E. Mr. Michael Aaron N. N. Oquaye,  lawyer and High Commissioner Republic of Ghana to India.

“What a unique festival, never ever heard like this in any other country. Journalist should remember that mediums are for three major reasons Information, Education and Entertainment as per Press council of India. A poster was launched to mark respect to 12th February as International Day of Journalism. Earlier the dignitaries inaugurated an exhibition of photographs. Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah presented all the Luminaries with life membership of International Journalism Centre and memento of the festival as souvenir. Albeena Abbas Director Department of Journalism conducted the program.

Indo Lesotho Cultural Forum Presented Scholarship

Noida: “We are more than happy to hand over the scholarship of AAFT Short Term Course to   the student from Kingdom of Lesotho as the gesture of goodwill and to promote relation between two countries under Indo Lesotho Film And Cultural Forum,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chairman of ILFCF.

“After signing MoU between the Embassy of Kingdom of Lesotho and ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry we inaugurated Indo Lesotho Film And Cultural Forum. Handing over the scholarship is the next in the list ,” said Ashok Tyagi Secretary General of ICMEI.

“It is rare when you are given three benefits at the same time. One that I have collected the scholarship for the deserving student from Kingdom of Lesotho, second I have received the collection of Press coverage of our activities and third I am carrying the research work conducted by AAFT School of Mass Communication and Journalism on Lesotho. I pray for very strong relations between ICMEI and Embassy of Lesotho,” expressed H.E. Bothat Tsikoane High Commissioner of Kingdom of Lesotho to India while addressing the media persons at Marwah Studios.                        

Makhatwe E. Mankimane First Secretary High Commission of Lesotho, Ashok Tyagi Secretary General of ICMEI and many other dignities were also present there. High Commissioner also celebrated the registration of fifth World Record of Sandeep Marwah.

ICMEI Signed MOU With Kingdom of Lesotho


India And Lesotho Will Work Together For Art Promotion


New Delhi: A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between India and Lesotho through International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry India and Embassy of Kingdom for Government of Kingdom of Lesotho to develop and promote relation between two countries through art and culture.

“We are new in India and this is our first memorandum. We hope that we will be able to create an important place in the hearts of Indians,” said H.E. Bothata Tsikoane High Commissioner of Kingdom of Lesotho.

“We will not leave any stone unturned to bring two countries together through art and culture. Few very important points have been discussed and now are part of the memorandum. It will start with formation of Indo Lesotho Film And Cultural Forum and rest of the things follows,” said Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

Promotion of films, television, media, environment, education, tourism, skill development through workshops, seminars, symposiums, film festivals, interactions, talks, visits will be the agenda of the chamber.
