9th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 2025 – Sets a New Benchmark in Creativity and Cultural Expression

Noida, India – May 2025: The third showcase of the 9th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 2025 held at Marwah Studios turned out to be the most captivating and immersive presentation yet, reaffirming the global relevance and artistic depth of this unique fashion and design celebration.

Festival President Dr. Sandeep Marwah, also the Founder of Noida Film City, proudly stated, “We believe in nurturing creativity and giving complete freedom to our artists. This event is not merely about fashion; it’s a tribute to global heritage and individual expression through the medium of art and design.” He added that this year, over 80 countries are represented, showcasing 550 unique garments, 125 pieces of designer furniture, 6 art and fashion exhibitions, 250 designers, and numerous cultural activities. The scale of preparation was extraordinary, with over 500 professionals and students working diligently for more than 60 days to bring the spectacle to life.

The third session featured distinguished Guests of Honour who added immense value to the celebration: Ankit Jain, Business Leader and Innovator, Anuj Chabhra, Design Consultant, Supriya Munshi, Style Analyst and Brand Strategist, Kaushik Ghosh, Fashion Personality, Kirti Mishra Naran, Creative Director and Cultural Curator.

One of the highlights of the evening was the official launch of the coffee table book titled “Fashion as an Art” authored by Ms. Ishaani Duggal, which eloquently documented fashion’s evolution as a cultural force and visual language.

The runway sparkled with breathtaking country-themed collections crafted by AAFT School of Fashion and Design students: Hansika presented an elegant High Fashion line for Slovakia, Mehak represented Lesotho with stylish Smart Casuals, Varsha amazed with Haute Couture inspired by Morocco, Meenakshi evoked the flair of Lebanon through Cocktail Wear, Jtoyi embraced Malaysia with a sophisticated Smart Casual collection, Anjali Bohra brought Serbia to life through Traditional Wear, Deepali beautifully showcased Turkey’s heritage attire, Rashid Dev and Manshi collaborated to display Street Wear from the USA, Tamanna rounded off the show with a rich array of Indian Traditional Wear.

Each presentation was not just a display of fashion but an act of storytelling—fusing fabric, design, and emotion into a powerful narrative. The creative synergy between global culture and local craftsmanship was on full display, turning the runway into a bridge of unity and diversity.

The day marked yet another triumph for AAFT’s Global Fashion and Design Week, placing it firmly among the most vibrant educational fashion forums in the world.

Dubai: International media personality Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chancellor of AAFT University has been nominated as the special Advisor to an organisation-I Am Africa promoted by H.E. Laila Rahhal of Business Gate Dubai UAE.

“I Am Africa is a new organisation to promote and develop relations between UAE and fifty of the African Countries. Africa is fast emerging as one of the most important markets for the United Arab Emirates. As the world moves closer to achieving a global economy, Africa’s status as the most promising market of the new millennium can never be underestimated. The United Arab Emirates has been quick to recognise the immense potential in the emerging markets of Africa and is working diligently to penetrate newer markets within the African continent,” said H.E. Laila Rahhal President of the organisation.

“We need people like Dr. Sandeep Marwah, the Global Cultural Minister, who has wide 360 degree experience in the promotion of International business and culture. His presence has added a lot to the status of the organisation,” she added.

“It is matter of great pride to be part of the advisory board of voluntary organisation like I Am Africa based in Dubai UAE. If my experience of being Chair of few African associations in India can help in promoting art and culture between the countries of the World, I will feel lucky to do so. Mohamed Maliki Ambassador of Morocco to India and people of Morocco on the National Day which falls on 18^th November,” said Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry at a event organised at Marwah Studios.

Not very late the Ambassador of Morocco nominated Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios as the Chair for Indo Morocco Film And Cultural Forum. The organisation has been created to develop and promote relation between two countries.

The country of Morocco has been a regular participant in major international events designed by ICMEI including Global Film Festival, Global Literary Festival, Global Festival of Journalism and Global Fashion Week.

A special space has been carved out in Radio Noida 107.4 Fm and MSTV for the broadcast of Moroccan programs.  Recently the country of Morocco was also the part of research program at AAFT University by students of journalism and fashion school where Moroccan fashion was displayed in a big way.

Feminism isn’t about making women stronger. Women are already strong, it’s about changing the way the world perceives that strength,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios  during the seminar on Women Empowerment And Writing on the second day of at 6^th Global Literary Festival Noida 2020 while launching the book on Women’s Empowerment by Anju Handa.

“Women are leaders everywhere you look—from the CEO who runs a Fortune 500 company to the housewife who raises her children and heads her household. Our country was built by strong women, and they will continue to break down walls and defy stereotypes. Best of the writers you will find in Women,” said H.E.Mohamed Maliki, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to India Who was Chief Guest for the session.

“We need women at all levels, including the top, to change the dynamic, reshape the conversation, to make sure women’s voices are heard and heeded, not overlooked and ignored. We would like to give them a platform like GLFN to speak, write and express themselves.” said Sushil Bharti Festival Director of GLFN.

“It took me quite a long time to develop a voice, and now that I have it, I am not going to be silent. There’s something so special about a woman who dominates in a man’s world. It takes a certain grace, strength, intelligence, fearlessness, and the nerve to never take no for an answer,” said Anju Handa

Noida: Moroccan Ambassador to India Mohamed Maliki nominated Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios as the Chair of newly formed Indo Morocco Film And Cultural Forum during the 3^rd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2019 at a function supported by ICMEI.

“We are going to built further our strong relations with India through art and culture under the leadership of great International personality Dr. Sandeep who has initiated so well the idea of creating a powerful forum,” said H.E. Mohamed Maliki Ambassador of Morocco to India while presenting the memento to Dr. Sandeep Marwah.”

Dr. Sandeep Marwah is six times World Record holder; recipient of 600 awards from all over the World and has been titled as Global Cultural Minister. He is the founder of Noida Film City, Asian Education Group and now has been nominated by Government as Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts.

“I take this responsibility handed over to me by Government of Morocco very humbly to develop and promote relations between India and Morocco. I will see to it that people of India know about Morocco much more than what they know now,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah accepting the Chair.

Noida: H.E. Mohammed Maliki Ambassador of Morocco to India has been honored with the Patron of newly formed Indo Morocco Film And Cultural Forum during the 3^rd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2019 in a grand function.

“International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry has formed its new committee under the name and banner of Indo Morocco Film And Cultural Forum and H. E. Mohammed Maliki Ambassador of Morocco is now Patron to the organization,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of the Chamber.

“It is a great pleasure and honor to be associated with international organization like ICMEI who all thought to create first ever Indo Morocco organization to promote art and culture on international level. I congratulate all the members of ICMEI for this gesture,” said Mohammed Maliki Ambassador to India.

Mohammed Maliki is graduate in literature and trained in Strategic Studies and Diplomatic Studies in Morocco, Pakistan, Malaysia and the United States. Ambassador Maliki has over two decades experience.

He started his career as a First Secretary of Foreign Affairs in charge of Technical Cooperation with African countries, he has wide experience in African and Asian affairs having served in Cameroon from 1994 to 2000 and at the Directorate of Asia and Oceania Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Morocco till his appointment as ambassador to India. From July 2003 to August 2007, he had been the Deputy Ambassador at the Moroccan Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan.
