Marwah Studios International Excellence Award in Cinema



Noida: “I try to push ideas away and the ones that will not leave me are the ones that ultimately end up happening, and one of those is the announcement of ICMEI International Award for Excellence in Cinema during 13th Global Film Festival Noida 2020.  Now we have constituted this new prestigious award. We don’t make movies to make more money  but we make money to make more movies. Cinema has to be  always backed and supported by passion,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and founder of Noida Film City.
Sandeep Marwah, forty years in glamour business, is seven times World Record Holder in Media. He is the  recipient of more than seven hundred awards from all over the World, chairing around hundred film, television, media, social, governmental and private organizations and is the cultural Ambassador of many countries.
“Create your own visual style, let it be unique for yourself and yet identifiable to others. Film Making is ultimate team sort. To make a film is easy but to make a good film is a war and to make a very good film is a magic. I always consider film makers as magicians,” said H.E. Muhammed Cengic Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to India at the first ICMEI International Awards for Excellence in Cinema inviting film personalities to Bosnia for film shooting. H.E. Muhammed Cengic is also patron to Indo Bosnia Film And Cultural Forum.
“Films are the best representative of culture of any country. Films are the best way to express yourself. The pain is temporary but once films are made then  the history is created. Indo Peru Film And Cultural Forum has grown with time,” said Carlo Polo Ambassador of Peru to India also spoke about the film Industry at Peru and the films which have done extremely well. H.E. is also the Patron to Indo Peru Film And Cultural Forum.
Marwah Studios International Award for Excellence in Cinema was conferred upon twenty nine film makers from twenty One countries of the World. This is a first kind of function in India where so many creative people from the World of cinema  have been honoured at the same time.

Sahra karimi, Shajia sojaei and  Mohibulla Hamidi from Afghanistan, Pouran Derakhshandeh and Behrooz Chaihel- Iran, Prabhakar saran- Panama, Aida Begic and Faruk Loncarevic- Bosina & Herzegovina, Mike berry and Karl Bardosh- USA, David Canovas- Spain, Romail Gulzar and Peter Ferris- UK, Karma Tshering- Bhutan, Maria Mercedes Coroy- Guatemala, Gabor a Forgacs and Jeno Hodi – Hungary, Akrom Isakov – Uzbekistan, Rani Bleier and Dan Wolman -Israel, Naveen shalaby- Egypt, Richard yaw Boatang- Ghana, Effie Bachtsevana – Greece, Chaai Yeewei – Singapore, Adam Dawla- Germany, Joel Calero- Peru, AMB Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen – Nigeria, Nariman Mammadov – Azerbaijan and  Yassine Samih from Morocco were honoured with prestigious award.

Later all the filmmakers spoke about their feelings and impression about this very exclusive international event online. It was indeed bonding of different cultures through Cinema. ”We could bring love, peace and unity through art and culture,” added Marwah.

New Delhi: The President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and Marwah Studios Dr. Sandeep Marwah was the special guest at the National Day of Morocco at Hotel Imperial New Delhi.

Recently Dr. Sandeep Marwah has been nominated as The Chair of Indo Morocco Film And Cultural Forum created by H.E. Mohamed Maliki Ambassador of His Majesty the King of Morocco to India, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal & Sri Lanka.

“I extend my heartiest congratulations to H.E. Mohamed Maliki and the people of Morocco on the National Day and wish a very strong ties and relation with Republic of India,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

The National Day celebration was attended by large number of High Commissioners and Ambassadors of many countries. Important People from all strata of life also attended the function. Ratan Naval Tata renowned Indian industrialist, investor, philanthropist, and a former chairman of Tata Sons was the chief guest of the day.

Noida: H.E. Mohammed Maliki Ambassador of Morocco to India has been honored with the Patron of newly formed Indo Morocco Film And Cultural Forum during the 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2019 in a grand function.

“International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry has formed its new committee under the name and banner of Indo Morocco Film And Cultural Forum and H. E. Mohammed Maliki Ambassador of Morocco is now Patron to the organization,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of the Chamber.

“It is a great pleasure and honor to be associated with international organization like ICMEI who all thought to create first ever Indo Morocco organization to promote art and culture on international level. I congratulate all the members of ICMEI for this gesture,” said Mohammed Maliki Ambassador to India.

Mohammed Maliki is graduate in literature and trained in Strategic Studies and Diplomatic Studies in Morocco, Pakistan, Malaysia and the United States. Ambassador Maliki has over two decades experience.

He started his career as a First Secretary of Foreign Affairs in charge of Technical Cooperation with African countries, he has wide experience in African and Asian affairs having served in Cameroon from 1994 to 2000 and at the Directorate of Asia and Oceania Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Morocco till his appointment as ambassador to India. From July 2003 to August 2007, he had been the Deputy Ambassador at the Moroccan Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Eleonora Dimitrova Ambassador of Bulgaria to India, BJP Leader Kuljeet  Chahal, Academician Aditya Raj & Ritu Mathur, Designer Sanjeev Manglani, Rinkoo Shroff , Ayan Bhatnagar, Mitali Bhatnagar, Vaibhav Singh, first lady of Algeria to India Yahia Cherif Yassina Wife of Deputy Head of the Mission Embassy of Tunisia Boujdaria Rim, Mohammed Benzakour & Hicham Bayar of Embassy of Morocco were also present there.

ICMEI Will Create A Separate African Cultural Union


African Union to Be Launched at ICMEI


Noida: ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and Marwah Studios in association with AAFT- Asian Academy of Film And Television has already created numerous forums in relation to African Countries.

“ Time has come when we should have a an African Union as a part of ICMEI so that more regularly we can work with Africa as a continent. Very soon we will be launching ‘An African Union’,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios addressing the nationals of different countries from Africa.

ICMEI is already dealing with Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Nigeria, Niger, Ethiopia, South Africa, Gabon, Lesotho, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia, Malawi, Kenya,  Rwanda, Sudan, South Sudan, Libya, Tunisia, Senegal, Guiana, Ghana, Congo, Cameron, Djibouti, Somalia, Tanzania, Burkina Faso and others.

“It was a great pleasure to receive the delegates from different countries of Africa in different Global Festivals and Summits organized by Marwah Studios and AAFT in partnership with ICMEI in the recent past,” added Sandeep Marwah chairing numerous international cultural forums.
