“The Architect of Aspirations” – Book on Dr. Sandeep Marwah Released Amidst Grand Celebration of 32 Glorious Years of IFTRC

Noida, June 2025: In a moment etched with pride, inspiration, and celebration, the much-awaited book “The Architect of Aspirations” — a compelling tribute to the life, vision, and legacy of Dr. Sandeep Marwah, was officially released at a spectacular event commemorating 32 years of the International Film and Television Research Centre (IFTRC) and the inauguration of the 125th historic batch of the Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT) at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City.

The book, compiled by Faqiha Choudhary, is an extraordinary collective authored by 78 writers, each sharing their unique reflections on the man whose passion and perseverance have shaped thousands of dreams. From educators and diplomats to artists, media professionals, and global changemakers — the voices within the pages reflect the widespread admiration and global impact of Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

The ceremonial release of the book was graced by Shri Kalraj Mishra, 44th Governor of Rajasthan, 19th Governor of Himachal Pradesh, and former Union Minister, who unveiled the book alongside H.E. Alonso Correa Miguel, Ambassador of Panama to India, and Emile Mwepesi, Second Counsellor at the High Commission of Rwanda, in the presence of an esteemed international audience, creative professionals, and scholars.

Joining the dignitaries on stage were notable international personalities including Zena Chung, renowned social worker from South Korea; Kunal Wali, government official from Ireland; and Loudmilla, acclaimed Russian writer and poetess, all of whom echoed the book’s message — that Dr. Marwah’s life is not just a journey, but a movement of transformation and aspiration.

Shri Kalraj Mishra, in his address, remarked: “Books are our best companions — and this book on Sandeep Marwah is a powerful reflection of the love and respect people hold for him. It speaks volumes of how one man’s unwavering commitment can ignite hope in millions. This is not just a biography; it is a chronicle of dreams realised.”

H.E. Alonso Correa Miguel, Ambassador of Panama, added: “Dr. Marwah is a true cultural diplomat. His vision has connected nations, uplifted voices, and offered platforms to talents beyond borders. This book immortalizes his contribution to humanity and art.”

Emile Mwepesi of Rwanda reflected: “Dr. Marwah is a beacon of creativity and global collaboration. His ability to turn ideas into institutions is truly admirable. This book will inspire generations to follow.”

Visibly moved by the occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chancellor of AAFT University, said: “This book is not just a gift to me—it is a gift to every dreamer. Seminar on ‘Should Biopics Be Made on Women?’ Held During the 17th Global Film Festival Noida

Noida, India – The 17th Global Film Festival Noida hosted a thought-provoking seminar on the topic ‘Should Biopics Be Made on Women?’ The seminar brought together a diverse group of distinguished personalities who shared their insights and perspectives on the subject

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Founder-President of AAFT, emphasized the importance of honoring women through biopics, stating, “India has always been a leader, giving the world some of its most powerful women. Figures like Rani Laxmi Bai, Indira Gandhi, Dr. Sarojini Naidu, and our current President, H.E. Draupadi Murmu, continue to inspire millions across the globe. Biopics are a vital medium to revisit history and serve as a source of motivation for generations to come.”

Hon. Jagannath Sarkar, Member of Parliament, expressed his views on the significance of biopics in showcasing the strength and achievements of women throughout history. Dr. Faridoddin Faridasr, Cultural Counsellor of Iran, highlighted the global relevance of such stories and their role in promoting gender equality and cultural appreciation. H.E. Dr. Ali Achoui, Ambassador of Algeria, spoke about the importance of women’s representation in media and cinema as a means to inspire change and progress.

Yanytzel Karina Duarte, Charge d’Affaires of the Embassy of Panama, shared her perspective on how biopics bring the struggles and triumphs of women leaders to light, encouraging the younger generation to dream big and break barriers. Aakanksha Marwaha, representing the Film & Event Fraternity, emphasized the need for the film industry to focus on authentic storytelling that celebrates women’s accomplishments.

Vidhushi Makhijani, Model & Social Media Influencer, added that biopics serve as powerful tools to challenge stereotypes and inspire women to pursue their aspirations. Bhavna Agarwal, Content Creator, Model & Influencer, noted that biopics can educate and empower audiences while preserving the legacy of iconic women for future generations.

The seminar underscored the transformative impact of biopics in bringing women’s stories to the forefront, inspiring millions, and fostering a culture of respect, admiration, and empowerment. The audience also participated in the session. Neelam Sharma, Media Personality, Anuj Verma, Hospitality Veteran, Ashok Tyagi, Renowned Film Director also spoke on the subject.

AAFT Showcases International Flair at 8th Global Fashion Week Noida 2024

Noida, India – The 8th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 2024, organized by AAFT, delivered an eclectic and truly international fashion experience during its second session. With numerous countries participating on the ramp, the event underscored the universal appeal of fashion.

Sandeep Marwah, President of the 8th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 2024, expressed his enthusiasm for the event, emphasizing the global unity and diversity represented through fashion.

The event was graced by distinguished guests of honor, including: H.E. Yasiel Alines Burillo Rivera, Ambassador, Embassy of Panama, Aji Fatoumatta Joof, First Secretary, High Commission of The Gambia, Saundarya Mehtani, Design Director, Ttrova Design, Sahiba Gurnani Wirk, Founder, Midori by SGV, Anit Nagpal, Director, Bang on Target PR and Media Solutions

Designers from AAFT displayed an impressive array of collections inspired by various cultures around the world: Devraj ,Bhawna and Rishita took Iraq as their subject, Fizza was showcasing garments inspired by the culture of Azerbaijan, Chestha went close to the country of Fiji,  Priyanka Chaudhary studied Cambodia for her presentation of garment range, Priya Pandey showcased garments impressed by Panama, Himanshu Patwa highlighted Myanmar through his range and  Armenian garments range was designed by Aastha, Shristi & Laiba, Anupam Priya.

A special highlight of the event was the launch of a Coffee Table Book titled “Zardozi,” designed by Anika Rai Sadh, a student of Fashion Communication at AAFT.

The 8th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 2024 continues to set a high standard for international fashion, celebrating cultural diversity and creativity. This event not only showcased the talents of emerging designers but also fostered a deeper appreciation for the global fashion community.

The event was supported by Indo Armenia Film and Cultural Forum, Indo Azerbaijan, Indo Cambodia, Indo Fiji, Indo Iraq, Indo Myanmar and Indo Panama Film and Cultural Forum of International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry along with World Peace Development and Research Foundation.

Appreciation for 7th Global Fashion Week From Day One

Show First Day Inaugurated by Panama Ambassador at Marwah Studios

The 7th Global Fashion Week at Marwah Studios in Noida kicked off with a spectacular range of garments designed by young and talented designers of AAFT School of Fashion and Design. In the third session of the event’s first day, the audience witnessed a fantastic display of creativity and design inspired by the cultural diversity of countries such as Cambodia, Bulgaria, Guyana, Armenia, Panama, Brazil, Cuba, Afghanistan, and Cyprus.

Amol Singh, Sunita Kushwaha, Komal Kumari, Pavannish Singh, Kashish Arora, VarshaGupta, Ayush Gupta, Aleena Israil, Gagandeep, Gudia Kashyap, HimaniNegi, and Priti Chandan were the designers from AAFT School of Fashion and Design who showcased their exceptional skills and expertise in front of the international audience.

The event was graced by the presence of H.E. Yasiel A. Burillo R Ambassador of Panama, who was the chief guest of the occasion. Tina, CEO True Fashion, Designer Anushka, and Designer Rahul were also present as guests of honor. Anabella Chavez Presstan, the third secretary of the Embassy of Panama, along with Anuj Lalwani, Shilpi Bahadur, Mania Kaur, Pankaj Choudhary, Means Malhotra, Ranju Rai, Ayati, and many others appreciated the show and applauded the designers’ efforts.

Sandeep Marwah, the founder of Marwah Studios, emphasized the significance of fashion as a means of artistic expression and a reflection of cultural trends. He praised the young designers of AAFT School of Fashion and Design for their creativity and the beautiful range of garments they presented. Marwah highlighted the importance of fashion shows as a platform for showcasing the talent of emerging designers and for promoting cultural exchange.

The first day of the event was a massive success, and the audience is looking forward to more such innovative and creative presentations in the coming days. The show was conducted by Ritu Lal Director AAFT School of Fashion & Design, Dr Akriti Singh anchored the show and Dr. Manoj Agarwal Executive Director supervised the arrangements.

New Delhi: “I on behalf of Media And Entertainment Industry along with complete Art & Culture fraternity of India extend my heartiest congratulations to Ricardo A Berna Charge d’ Affairs of Panama in India and the people of Panama on the National Day falls on 3rd November,” said Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

Not very long ago we created Indo Panama Film And Cultural Forum and designed many programs in association with Embassy of Panama to develop and promote relation between two countries. We have been quite successful in our approach.

“The new Ambassador of Panama to India  H.E. Arturo Fabrega is also the Patron to the organisation and soon we will be presenting him the patronship in a formal function,” added Marwah.

Indo Panama Film And Cultural Forum had been partner in progress in events like Global Festival of Journalism, Global Fashion Week and Global Literary Festival in last few weeks. A special slot in radio Noida 107.4 FM and television station MSTV has  been marked for the promotion of Indo Panama relations.

Noida: A seminar was organized to discuss the changing scenario of media in India with especially emphasis to print, television and social media during the 8th Global Festival of Journalism Noida at Marwah Studios.

“People were amazed when we started social media as part of the syllabus for the students of journalism few years back, no body realized that this medium will be the most popular and will involve anyone and everyone into its system,” said Sandeep Marwah President of the festival and initiated the discussion.

Anil Pandey Senior Journalist, Shweta Jha Anchor Aaj Tak, Paresh Rughani International Motivational Speaker, Ali Adil Khan Editor Times of Pedia, Prof. Lallan Prasad Writer & Poet and Dr. Ali Javed President of All India Progressive Writers’ Association explained their point of views on the subject.

“Journalist cannot be away from the idea that he is the most responsible part of the society and what ever medium he is using he has to be very sure of his words. His words can make the society and can destroy the society,” said Ricardo A Berna M, Charge D’ Affairs Embassy of Panama in India.

A Poster of renowned journalist Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi was released to mark respect to the most responsible profession of journalism on earth. Dignities also released the News Bulletin of second day designed by students of journalism.

Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah honored and presented all the distinguished guests with life membership of IJC-International Journalism Centre and memento of  8th Global Festival of Journalism.

A Friendly Match Won Every Ones Heart- Sandeep Marwah


ICMEI With GURULAC Organised Soccer Competition


New Delhi: The sports field of The Heritage School, Vasant Kunj was resplendent with glory as it hosted a friendly soccer match between GURULAC (Group of Latin American and the Caribbean Countries) versus rest of the World. The unfurling of the Flags of participating countries gave vivid hues to the horizon of The Heritage School, Vasant Kunj premises.

The Soccer match was organized by Fauzia of Cultural GURULAC India in association with AAFT University, International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and Marwah Studios. 

The event started at an auspicious note with presentation of a "Ganesh Stuti" by the School Alumni followed by the display of cultural diversity through a conglomeration of varied dance styles presented by the Students of an NGO “ Sarvam”.

 With head held high and a confident smile on their face, the two teams marched into the ground and shook hands with each other. The match commenced soon after the “ National Anthem”. 

The match was played in "Friendly Spirit of the Game" and winning and losing was not relevant to the objective behind the event. It certainly generated goodwill among the participating nations.

ICMEI Presented AAFT Scholarship to Panama


AAFT Scholarship Presented by ICMEI to Embassy of Panama


New Delhi:  Indo Panama Film And Cultural Forum recently formed by the Embassy of Panama In India and International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry Jointly to promote and develop better relations between the two countries.

An addition to that ICMEI has offered a scholarship of a short-term course in film and television from AAFT- Asian Academy of Film And Television for a deserving student from Panama. The scholarship includes three months course along with three months boarding and lodging for the student too.

“We are pleased to handover the scholarship to H.E. Ricardo A Berna Charge d’ Affairs of Panama in India. This is what we believe in cultural diplomacy. The is the another way to bring the people of two countries close to each other,” said Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI. H.E. Ricardo A Berna extended his heartiest thanks on this gesture of ICMEI and AAFT.

Indo Panama Film And Cultural Forum Launched at Marwah Studios


Noida: ICMEI- International Chamber o Media And Entertainment Industry in association with Embassy of Panama in India launched first ever Indo Panama Film And Cultural Forum to develop and promote better relation between two countries.

A poster projecting colorful flags of India and Panama was released by H.E. Ricardo A Berna Charge d’ Affaires of Embassy of Panama in India to launch the new forum which was followed by signing of the MOU between the two.

Today is a very auspicious day for us as we could launch first ever association between two countries which will directly deal with the embassy and people of Panama to promote Indian arts in Panama and Panama culture in India,” said H.E. Ricardo A Berna Charge d’ Affaires of Embassy of Panama to India.

“We have planned many events and occasions where we are going to highlight our relations with Panama. We are going to cover Print, Radio, Television, New Media, Films, Tourism and Hospitality, Environment, Fashion & Design, Skill Development, Solar energy and Peace issues,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

“To stat with We have already planned a scholarship for the deserving student from Panama for three months course in film making at AAFT, which will be handed over to Embassy in due course of time,” added Marwah.

“Joining hands with ICMEI is the best part of the year ending 2018. We are sure we will start with   ample activities in the coming year,” said Fauzia Bakshi the coordinator of Embassy of Panama in India.
“I am happy to learn that ICMEI has department of Performing arts and we are going to be part of their event very soon,” said Fidel Dely Murillo renowned   drummer and musician from Panama while appreciating the launching of the forum.

The President of Marwah Studios Dr. Sandeep Marwah was nominated and appointed Honorary Chairperson of this forum by the Charge d’ Affariers and on the other hand Dr. Sandeep Marwah presented Patron ship of Indo Panama Film And Cultural Forum to H.E. Ricardo A Berna Charge d’ Affairs.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                
 Secretary General ICME Ashok Tyagi spoke about ICMEI and Amir Abdullah paid vote of thanks. Many filmmakers, journalists and large number of media professionals, attended the event.

New Delhi: Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry presented Patronship to H.E. Ricard A Berna Charge d’ Affaires of Embassy of Panama to India on the formation of new forum at Marwah Studios at Noida Film City.

“Indo Panama Film And Cultural Forum will further promote the relations between India and Panama through arts and culture. Panama has lot to offer to the World. This is the first ever association has been formed in India with ICMEI and I am sure it will bring the relation to next stage,” said H.E. Ricard A Berna Charge d’ Affaires of Embassy of Panama to India.

ICMEI- congratulates the Embassy of Panama on the formation of this new association and happy to work under the leadership of H.E. Ricard A Berna to develop and promote relation between two countries,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

Ricard A Berna is a Postgraduate in Regional Integration from Loyola University, Córdoba, Spain after his Bachelor Degree in International Relations from Panama University.

He has served for almost 14 years in the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Panamá and has been Director of External Politic, European Department, Asia Department and Consular Department.

He has been Part of the Panama Negotiation Team during the Association Agreement between Central America and the European Union in 2008, Part of the Panamanian External Services as Diplomat of Career from 2014

He was appointed Consul in Charge in the General Consulate of Panama in Vancouver B.C., Canada in 2016 and now Deputy Head of The Mission in Panama Embassy in India from 2018.

Noida: A well-known educationist and a media person Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios has been nominated as the Chair of new framed Indo Panama Film And Cultural Forum by Government of Panama.

H.E. Ricardo A Berna Charge d’ Affaires of Embassy of Panama to India appointed Dr. Sandeep Marwah as head of this organization called Indo Panama Film And Cultural Forum to develop and promote better relations between two countries through arts and culture.

“We are happy to join hands with Dr. Sandeep Marwah who has a vast experience in cultural diplomacy and has been in the business of art and culture promotion for many years,” said H.E. Ricardo A Berna Charge d’ Affaires of Embassy of Panama to India.

“I am more than excited to take the responsibility of IPFCF and have many new and unique ideas to promote our relations. We will soon be announcing few of the ideas in the next few days. I am thankful to the Government of Panama for trusting me and bestowing upon me a wonderful responsibility of promoting arts and culture,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.
