MP Jagannath Spoke to Members of International Journalism Centre


MP Jagannath Sarkar at International Journalism Centre


 Noida: “I appreciate the idea of Positive & constructive Journalism as President of International Journalism Centre Sandeep Marwah has put it so clearly. Lets work towards positivity and bring our country to better platform in the World,” said Jagannath Sarkar  an Indian politician who has been a Member of Lok Sabha for Ranaghat since 2019.

 “We need news papers, TV channels and other mediums of media to also high light the achievements of individuals, business houses & associations and our own government,” added Jagannath Sarkar Member Parliament on the occasion of third day of Global Festival of Journalism Noida

 “Constructive journalism is an emerging domain which involves communication based around reporting solution-focused news, instead of revolving only around negative and conflict-based stories. Constructive journalism aims to give stories more context and make the consumer of the news more intelligent,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

 Dr. Marwah Presented and honoured Jagannath Sarkar with life membership of International Journalism Centre of Marwah Studios along with memento of Global Festival. The event was attended by large number of professional journalists and mdia students from all over India and abroad.

Seminar on Changing Scenario of Media at 8th GFJN

Noida: A seminar was organized to discuss the changing scenario of media in India with especially emphasis to print, television and social media during the 8th Global Festival of Journalism Noida at Marwah Studios.

“People were amazed when we started social media as part of the syllabus for the students of journalism few years back, no body realized that this medium will be the most popular and will involve anyone and everyone into its system,” said Sandeep Marwah President of the festival and initiated the discussion.

Anil Pandey Senior Journalist, Shweta Jha Anchor Aaj Tak, Paresh Rughani International Motivational Speaker, Ali Adil Khan Editor Times of Pedia, Prof. Lallan Prasad Writer & Poet and Dr. Ali Javed President of All India Progressive Writers’ Association explained their point of views on the subject.

“Journalist cannot be away from the idea that he is the most responsible part of the society and what ever medium he is using he has to be very sure of his words. His words can make the society and can destroy the society,” said Ricardo A Berna M, Charge D’ Affairs Embassy of Panama in India.

A Poster of renowned journalist Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi was released to mark respect to the most responsible profession of journalism on earth. Dignities also released the News Bulletin of second day designed by students of journalism.

Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah honored and presented all the distinguished guests with life membership of IJC-International Journalism Centre and memento of  8th Global Festival of Journalism.

World Radio Day Celebrated at 8th Global Festival of Journalism



World Radio Day Celebrated at 8th GFJN 2020

Noida: “On this World Radio Day, let us recognize the enduring power of radio to promote diversity and help build a more peaceful and inclusive world “ Albeena Abbas read the words written by the UN Secretary-General António Guterres to start the program of the second day of 8th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2020 at Marwah Studios.

“Radio is a powerful medium for celebrating humanity in all its diversity and constitutes a platform for democratic discourse. At the global level, radio remains the most widely consumed medium,” said Sandeep Marwah President ICMEI introducing the program to the large audience.

“This unique ability to reach out the widest audience means radio can shape a society’s experience of diversity, stand as an arena for all voices to speak out, be represented and heard,” said Narender Gupta Senior Journalist from Mumbai.

“Radio stations should serve diverse communities, offering a wide variety of programs, viewpoints and content, and reflect the diversity of audiences in their organizations and operations,” added Paresh Rughani International Motivational Speaker from London.

“Radio is a low-cost medium specifically suited to reaching remote communities and vulnerable people, offering a platform to intervene in the “public debate, irrespective of people’s educational level. It also plays a crucial role in emergency communication and disaster relief,” expressed Dr. Markandey Rai, Chancellor, Indira Gandhi Technical University.
“Radio is uniquely positioned to bring communities together and foster positive dialogue for change. By listening to its audiences and responding to their needs, radio services provide the diversity of views and voices needed to address the challenges we all face,” said Dr. Mohamed Shoukr Nada, Cultural Counsellor, Embassy of Egypt.

“The objectives of the Day are to raise greater awareness among the public and the media of the importance of radio,” added Ranjan Mukherjee, Senior Journalist.

“Radio brings people together. In an era of rapid media evolution, radio retains a special place in every community as an accessible source of vital news and information,” said H E Paulias Korni, High Commissioner of Papua New Guinea.

“The World Radio Day this year moves around the theme of "Radio and diversity." UNESCO and UN calls on radio stations to uphold diversity, both in their newsroom and on the airwaves, ”reminded H.E. Nejemeddine Lakhal, Ambassador of Tunisia to India.

Later a poster was released to mark respect to the Radio Day, which falls on 13thFebruary, by the dignities. Dr. Sandeep Marwah presented life membership of IJC- International Journalism Centre to the guests along with the memento of the festival.

Exhibition of News Papers Inaugurated on 2nd Day of GFJN


Noida: Exhibitions are always been part of all festivals. They are integrated section of all the Global Festivals designed by the international maestro Sandeep Marwah at Noida Film City the ground place of Marwah Studios and AAFT.

We have many departments working at the same time. Print, Radio, Television, Cinema, New Media, Audio, Video, Publication, Research, Design, Still Photography are some of them. This is the presentation of Mass Communication And Journalism Students who  have designed the cover page of News Papers,” explained Dr. Sandeep Marwah at the exhibition.

“The students are always very talented, but they need proper guidance to come up to the international standard. I appreciate the two scholarships which were presented by AAFT to Ghana Students have done wonders to their vision and caliber here,” said H.E. Michael A. A. Oquaye High Commissioner of Ghana to India while lighting the ceremonial lamp and thanking Indo Ghana Film And Cultural Forum of ICMEI.

“This is my third time in 30 days. A Marwah studio has a lot to offer to the World of Art and Culture. No one can compare to them in films, television and media presentation. I have never been to any Global Festival of Journalism ever in my life before,” K.L.Ganju Consulate General Embassy of Comoros in India appreciating the formation of Indo Comoros Film And Cultural Forum.

Indo Panama Film And Cultural Forum is going to take part in every event designed by ICMEI. WE are here to promote our relations,” added Ricardo A Berna Charge d’ Affaires Embassy of Panama in India.

Kulwinder Singh Kang Director All India Radio Ministry of Information And Broadcasting Government of India, Sayeed Ansari Deputy Editor and Anchor Aaj Tak, Paul Song Director International Youth Fellowship South Korea, Onuel Uka President Nigerian Students Association in India were also present there.
