New Delhi: In a moment of immense pride for the Indian fashion and creative industries, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Founder of Noida Film City, Marwah Studios, and AAFT University, was grandly felicitated by the Fashion & Apparel fraternity on his nomination as the Brand Ambassador of the “BRICS+ Fashion & Lifestyle Summit.”

The prestigious ceremony was organized with the support of BSL – Brands & Sourcing Leaders Association at Hotel Jaypee Vasant Continental, New Delhi, in the presence of eminent leaders from the apparel and fashion industry.

The “BRICS+ Fashion & Lifestyle Summit” aims to strengthen international collaboration among BRICS+ nations by promoting innovation, sustainability, trade partnerships, and cultural exchange within the global fashion and lifestyle ecosys


Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Subhash Goyal, senior industry leader, lauded Dr. Marwah’s extraordinary contribution to media, education, and cultural diplomacy. He stated that Dr. Marwah’s global outreach and visionary leadership would add tremendous value to the summit, creating stronger bridges between fashion, media, and international trade platforms.

Mr. Raman Dutta of BSL – Brands & Sourcing Leaders Association emphasized that Dr. Marwah’s nomination reflects the growing convergence of fashion, cinema, media, and creative industries. He highlighted that the Summit would benefit immensely from Dr. Marwah’s experience in promoting Indian talent across 145 countries through educational and cultural initiatives.

Addressing the august gathering, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, who is also the President of AAFT School of Fashion and Design, expressed his gratitude to the Fashion & Apparel fraternity for the honour.

He said, “Fashion is not merely apparel; it is culture, identity, creativity, and economic strength. The BRICS+ Fashion & Lifestyle Summit will serve as a powerful platform to integrate creativity with commerce and strengthen India’s leadership in the global fashion landscape.”

Noida, India – The 17th Global Film Festival Noida hosted a thought-provoking seminar on the topic ‘Should Biopics Be Made on Women?’ The seminar brought together a diverse group of distinguished personalities who shared their insights and perspectives on the subject

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Founder-President of AAFT, emphasized the importance of honoring women through biopics, stating, “India has always been a leader, giving the world some of its most powerful women. Figures like Rani Laxmi Bai, Indira Gandhi, Dr. Sarojini Naidu, and our current President, H.E. Draupadi Murmu, continue to inspire millions across the globe. Biopics are a vital medium to revisit history and serve as a source of motivation for generations to come.”

Hon. Jagannath Sarkar, Member of Parliament, expressed his views on the significance of biopics in showcasing the strength and achievements of women throughout history. Dr. Faridoddin Faridasr, Cultural Counsellor of Iran, highlighted the global relevance of such stories and their role in promoting gender equality and cultural appreciation. H.E. Dr. Ali Achoui, Ambassador of Algeria, spoke about the importance of women’s representation in media and cinema as a means to inspire change and progress.

Yanytzel Karina Duarte, Charge d’Affaires of the Embassy of Panama, shared her perspective on how biopics bring the struggles and triumphs of women leaders to light, encouraging the younger generation to dream big and break barriers. Aakanksha Marwaha, representing the Film & Event Fraternity, emphasized the need for the film industry to focus on authentic storytelling that celebrates women’s accomplishments.

Vidhushi Makhijani, Model & Social Media Influencer, added that biopics serve as powerful tools to challenge stereotypes and inspire women to pursue their aspirations. Bhavna Agarwal, Content Creator, Model & Influencer, noted that biopics can educate and empower audiences while preserving the legacy of iconic women for future generations.

The seminar underscored the transformative impact of biopics in bringing women’s stories to the forefront, inspiring millions, and fostering a culture of respect, admiration, and empowerment. Noida: The 8th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 2024 continued to dazzle audiences with its third show, celebrating the diverse cultural heritage of numerous countries. This event, hosted by Marwah Studios, has become a hallmark of international artistic and cultural exchange.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and the 8th GFWN, expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming international participation. “We are very fortunate to be associated with a large number of countries through their Embassies and High Commissions. A significant number of diplomats have recognized our efforts in showcasing their art and culture in India on a grand scale. These initiatives have fostered robust relations between these countries and India, enhancing business interactions and tourism,” he remarked.

Nilisha: Garments influenced by Japanese culture, Leena, Ratna & Karisma: Creations inspired by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Shivangi Tiwari, Priyanshi, Laavanya, Mitali: Designs reflecting the essence of Ireland, Sakshi Tuteja, Shristi Sanskriti: Garments showcasing the vibrant culture of Ghana, Kukum Maurya: Clothing inspired by Cambodian traditions, Nikita: Garments representing the diverse culture of India, and Vani Garg: Designs influenced by Cuban culture.

In addition to the fashion showcase, the event also saw the release of a captivating coffee table book titled ‘Serene’, designed by Pooja Gupta, a student of Fashion Communication at AAFT. This book beautifully encapsulates the tranquility and elegance of global fashion.

The 8th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 2024 continues to set a benchmark in fostering international cultural ties and promoting artistic excellence. The event’s success underscores the power of fashion as a universal language that transcends borders and unites diverse cultures.

Noida, October 8, 2023 — The 9th Global Literary Festival held at the festival campus of the AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism showcased the rich culinary talents of students, bringing to life the diverse and delectable flavors from around the world. The event, inaugurated on its first day by esteemed dignitaries, was a resounding success, delighting attendees with a vibrant array of popular cuisines.

The festival’s first day witnessed a joint inauguration by notable figures: H.E. Cho Hui Chol, the Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Korea; Patricia Josephine NTYAM EHYA, Charge d’Affaires at the Embassy of Gabon; and Cdr. K L Ganju, Hon. Consul General of the Union of Comoros. Their presence added prestige to the event and highlighted the importance of cultural exchange through the universal language of food.

The gastronomic display featured beloved dishes from various countries, including Comoros, Gabon, DPR Korea, Mongolia, and Iran. The culinary presentation and taste were met with widespread appreciation, often likened to the standards of renowned restaurants and star hotels.

Design Exhibition 2023 Inaugurated by International Dignities at AAFT

AAFT School of Interior Design Presented Exhibition of Furniture at 7th GFDN

AAFT School of Interior Design showcased their students’ remarkable talents in a design exhibition that opened at Marwah Studios, with the participation of dignitaries from five different countries. The event was inaugurated by esteemed guests from Iran, Malaysia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, and Comoros, who were amazed by the work presented by the students.

The exhibition featured 80 pieces of furniture influenced by 62 different countries from around the world. The creativity of the students was evident in every piece, leaving the ambassadors, diplomats, and audience in awe of the talent and skill displayed by the students.

The dignitaries from different countries including H.E. Dambajavyn Ganbold Ambassador of Mongolia, Cdr. K.L. Ganju Hon. Consul General of Comoros, Amizal Fadzli Charged’ Affaires High Commission of Malaysia, Dr. Faridoddin Faridasr Cultural Counsellor of Iran, Ardak Kakimzhanov Embassy of Kazakhstan and Tanmaya Diwedi Designer appreciated the hard work put in by the students and were impressed by the range of designs presented. The exhibition provided a platform for the students to showcase their creative abilities and to share their unique perspectives with visitors from India and abroad.

The exhibition hall was filled with an array of innovative designs, which captured the essence of different cultures and artistic styles. The audience was thrilled to witness such a remarkable exhibition, and the feedback from the dignitaries was highly positive.

International Food Festival Inaugurated During 7th Global Fashion Week

Five Country Cuisine Presented by AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism

Noida: Marwah Studios witnessed a delightful evening as the AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism in association with ICMEI- International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry hosted an international food festival featuring the cuisine of five different countries. The event was inaugurated by Sandeep Marwah, the founder of Marwah Studios, and was attended by esteemed dignitaries from Iran, Comoros, Malaysia, Mongolia, and Kazakhstan.

The festival offered a platform for students to showcase their culinary skills and to present traditional dishes from their respective countries. Guests were treated to a wide array of dishes that tantalized their taste buds and showcased the rich cultural diversity of the participating countries.

They appreciated the efforts of the AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism in organizing such a unique and exciting event.

This was the first time that the AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism had organized a food festival alongside the 7th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 2023, adding a new dimension to the event. Tehran: Indo Iran Film And Cultural Forum of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry join Hands With Iran Cultural House, Embassy of Iran in organizing the webinar titled- Role of Culture in Strengthening Communities Against Corona.

“India and Iran have wonderful relations from Centuries. Both the countries have  large number of similarities as far as culture is concerned. Indo Iran Film And Cultural Forum was started to develop and promote relation between two countries. Ample has been done including two times film festival of films from Iran, An exhibition of paintings from Iran, Workshop by popular film Iranian directors, Participation of delegates from Iran in different international meets at ICMEI including Global Film Festival, Global Literary Festival, Global Fashion Week, Global Festival of Journalism and recently an Iranian Week at AAFT- Asian Academy of Film And Television added a lot to the relations.,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and ICMEI.

“Lock down and Corona virus must have postponed some of the designed events but the relation between the two centers and people to people is still on.  We are happy to bring programs from Iran, in this lock down, for broadcasting on our Radio Noida and MSTV,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

Dr. Habibreza Arzani PhD. in Comparative Religions Studies Iran, Prof Mahmood Karimi of University of Imam Sadiq Tehran and Dr. Shirin Ahmaadnia Associate Professor of Sociology Allameh Tabalaba i University Tehran participated from Iran and Prof Azra Abdi Dept. Of Sociology Jamia Millia Islamia New Delhi also spoke from India. Mehdi Baqar Khan.t hosted the event.

ICMEI Announced Joint Film Production With Iranian Director




New Delhi: Indo Iran Film And Cultural Forum of ICMEI in association with AAFT University announced a joint venture of documentary film to be shot in Delhi informed Ashok Tyagi Secretary General of ICMEI.

The film wing of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and Embassy of Iran in New Delhi decided to promote cinema together.  A renowned filmmaker Soheil Abdollahi is already in India to start a documentary on Indian subject.

“We are ready to join hands with Iranian film maker to produce this documentary which will be different from other productions we have completed as it will be from the point of view of foreign director,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.  

Marwah Studios will provide all the facilities what film director Soheil is looking for in India. AAFT Alumni will also participate in the film production. Sandeep Marwah presented life membership of International Film And Television Club of AAFT to the visiting Iranian Director Soheil Abdollahi.

Budapest: A grand event was organized by the Embassy of Iran in Budapest to celebrate the festival of Navruz.

Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios from India and Chair Indo Iran Film And Cultural Forum was invited as special guest since he was present in the city of Budapest.

A Hungarian band followed by Iranian music by visiting Iranian band brought   the evening to the highest level of cultural exchange. “It was too good for the words be it the    Hungarian band or   Iranian musical group, both presented their best,” said Sandeep Marwah.

H. E. Gholamali Rajabi Yazadi Ambassador of Iran to Hungary welcomed Dr. Sandeep Marwah along with wife Reena Marwah, Edit Osko and renowned Film Producer Actor Ferenc Borbely.

Noida: Indo Iran Film And Cultural Forum in association with ICMEI organized a workshop by Iranian film director Ebrahim Hatamikia at AAFT University of Media And Arts at Marwah Studios Complex, Film City Noida.

After a powerful discussion there was a screening of Iranian Film- Bewaqt Sham directed by Mr. Ebrahim Hatamikia which has already been marked as one of the best film in Iran and has been awarded number of times in different festivals.

Ebrahim Hatamikia is an Iranian screenwriter and film director who's movies are considered to be the best that tackle the war and the issues surrounding it & his works have often received admiration in national film festivals. Damascus Time, Bodyguard, Chee, Davat, Be Name Pedar, Low Heights, The Red Ribbon, The Glass Agency, Boorj E Minoo are some of the popular films of him.

New Delhi: A lecture on "Emerging Cultural Relations between India & Iran in the present scenario & Iranian Cultural Revivalism in recent decades"   was organized by Iran Culture House delivered by Dr. Gholam Ali Haddad Adel, the Special Advisor to the Supreme Leader of I.R. Iran, the former Speaker of Iranian Parliament and the Chairman of Academy of Persian language and Literature, Iran.

“We are feeling elevated as International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry at Marwah Studios developing better and smarter relation with Iran through Art and Culture. We have a wonderful relation with Iran and we keep on organizing different events to inform people of Iran and India that we are best friends,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.
