ICMEI Welcomes International Delegates at GLOBAL VOICES Fashion Summit

Noida: ICMEI – International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry warmly welcomed eminent international fashion leaders and creative professionals participating in the GLOBAL VOICES – Fashion as a Force: Fashion Beyond Borders summit at Marwah Studios.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI, stated that with the presence of delegates from multiple countries, the ICMEI forums representing these nations have become more active and effective. He emphasized that fashion and design, being integral components of art and culture, play a significant role in strengthening international relations and people-to-people connections.

Noida: A vibrant and visually stunning exhibition of designer garments created by the students of AAFT School of Fashion & Design became a major highlight of the International Fashion Summit “GLOBAL VOICES – Fashion as a Force: Fashion Beyond Borders”, held at Marwah Studios. The exhibition reflected innovation, cultural diversity, craftsmanship, and a strong global perspective, earning wide appreciation from national and international delegates.

The summit witnessed enthusiastic participation from fashion professionals and cultural representatives from USA , Ukraine , Mauritius , Bulgaria , UAE , Kenya , and India , reaffirming the truly international character of the event.

Dr. Himani Choudhary, Director, AAFT School of Fashion & Design, expressed pride in the students’ creativity and dedication. The International Fashion Summit and exhibition successfully reinforced Marwah Studios and AAFT School of Fashion & Design as dynamic hubs of global fashion education, collaboration, and creative excellence, truly living up to the spirit of “Fashion Beyond Borders.”

Appreciation for 7th Global Fashion Week From Day One

Show First Day Inaugurated by Panama Ambassador at Marwah Studios

The 7th Global Fashion Week at Marwah Studios in Noida kicked off with a spectacular range of garments designed by young and talented designers of AAFT School of Fashion and Design. In the third session of the event’s first day, the audience witnessed a fantastic display of creativity and design inspired by the cultural diversity of countries such as Cambodia, Bulgaria, Guyana, Armenia, Panama, Brazil, Cuba, Afghanistan, and Cyprus.

Amol Singh, Sunita Kushwaha, Komal Kumari, Pavannish Singh, Kashish Arora, VarshaGupta, Ayush Gupta, Aleena Israil, Gagandeep, Gudia Kashyap, HimaniNegi, and Priti Chandan were the designers from AAFT School of Fashion and Design who showcased their exceptional skills and expertise in front of the international audience.

The event was graced by the presence of H.E. Yasiel A. Burillo R Ambassador of Panama, who was the chief guest of the occasion. Tina, CEO True Fashion, Designer Anushka, and Designer Rahul were also present as guests of honor. Anabella Chavez Presstan, the third secretary of the Embassy of Panama, along with Anuj Lalwani, Shilpi Bahadur, Mania Kaur, Pankaj Choudhary, Means Malhotra, Ranju Rai, Ayati, and many others appreciated the show and applauded the designers’ efforts.

Sandeep Marwah, the founder of Marwah Studios, emphasized the significance of fashion as a means of artistic expression and a reflection of cultural trends. He praised the young designers of AAFT School of Fashion and Design for their creativity and the beautiful range of garments they presented. Marwah highlighted the importance of fashion shows as a platform for showcasing the talent of emerging designers and for promoting cultural exchange.

The first day of the event was a massive success, and the audience is looking forward to more such innovative and creative presentations in the coming days. The show was conducted by Ritu Lal Director AAFT School of Fashion & Design, Dr Akriti Singh anchored the show and Dr. Manoj Agarwal Executive Director supervised the arrangements.

New Delhi: Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chair for IBFCF-Indo Bulgaria Film And Cultural Forum at ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry congratulated H.E. Eleonora Dimitrov Ambassador of Bulgaria to India on the National Day, which falls on 3^rd March.

The Embassy of Bulgaria in New Delhi celebrated the National Day of Bulgaria on March 5, 2020. The event was well attended by Bulgarian dignitaries, members of diplomatic community and expatriates.

Her Excellency Eleonora Dimitrova addressed the audience highlighting the strong relationship between India and Bulgaria. G Kishan Reddy, Hon’ble Minister of State for Home Affairs, Government of India was the esteemed Chief Guest.

Indo Bulgarian Film And Cultural Forum

On 3rd of March Bulgaria celebrates the anniversary of its Liberation from the five century-long Ottoman rule. It is also referred to as the date of the creation of the Third Bulgarian Tsardom. March 3 is a national holiday for Bulgaria and it was declared as such in 1978.

Noida: It was the second day of 3^rd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2019 and H.E. Eleneora Dimitrova Ambassador of Bulgaria to India was the guest of honor at the event at Marwah Studios.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah President International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry honored H.E. Eleneora Dimitrova with the Patronship of Indo Bulgaria Film And Cultural Forum in the presence of large audience gathered to witness vibrant fashion shows.

“We are feeling elevated with the presence of Her Excellency Eleonora Dimitrova who has accepted to be the patron of Indo Bulgaria Film and Cultural Forum and will guide us as to what more we can do to build a strong ties with Bulgaria,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah presenting the memento to   Eleonora.

“What a pleasure to be here at 3^rd Global Fashion Week where my country is also participating. ICMEI has done a great job and we together will build a better world with art and culture. I am pleased to be associated with Indo Bulgarian Film And Cultural Forum,” said H.E. Dimitrova accepting the memento.

Eleonora Dimitrova joined Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Bulgaria in 2001. She has finished her Masters Degree in International Economic Relations from University of Economic and learned English, Portuguese and German Languages.

Earlier She has been on different designations as Director, Press center Directorate, MFA of the Republic of Bulgaria. She was Counselor, EU policies and institutions Directorate, MFA of the Republic of Bulgaria. She was also Deputy head of mission, Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Brasilia, Brazil.
