ICMEI Welcomes International Delegates at GLOBAL VOICES Fashion Summit

Noida: ICMEI – International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry warmly welcomed eminent international fashion leaders and creative professionals participating in the GLOBAL VOICES – Fashion as a Force: Fashion Beyond Borders summit at Marwah Studios.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI, stated that with the presence of delegates from multiple countries, the ICMEI forums representing these nations have become more active and effective. He emphasized that fashion and design, being integral components of art and culture, play a significant role in strengthening international relations and people-to-people connections.

Dr. Marwah further informed that High Commissioners and Ambassadors of the participating countries have conveyed their best wishes, expressing strong support for the growth of bilateral and multilateral relations through fashion, design, art, and culture.

The distinguished international participants included Ruhi Hak, Founder of Hopeblit, USA; Shagun Gupta, CEO of LA Fashion Closet, Los Angeles; Septimius The Great, renowned Designer and Singer from Los Angeles; Rashad Todd, acclaimed Show Director from Los Angeles; Dimple Kapoor, Designer; Anna Rud, Designer from Ukraine; Shabana Meerun, Designer from Mauritius; Davina Boodhun, Designer from Mauritius; Kasichana Yaa, Second Secretary, Kenya High Commission; Dr. Shahzada Siddiqui, Managing Director, YESPOS, Dubai, UAE; and Priyanka Chaurasia, Designer from Texas, USA.

The participation of such a diverse and influential international delegation reinforced ICMEI’s commitment to promoting cultural diplomacy through creative industries, and further strengthened global collaboration in the fields of fashion, design, and media.

GLOBAL VOICES – FASHION AS A FORCE: FASHION BEYOND BORDERSAAFT Students Showcase Spectacular Collections at International Fashion Summit

Noida: A vibrant and visually stunning exhibition of designer garments created by the students of AAFT School of Fashion & Design became a major highlight of the International Fashion Summit “GLOBAL VOICES – Fashion as a Force: Fashion Beyond Borders”, held at Marwah Studios. The exhibition reflected innovation, cultural diversity, craftsmanship, and a strong global perspective, earning wide appreciation from national and international delegates.

The summit witnessed enthusiastic participation from fashion professionals and cultural representatives from USA , Ukraine , Mauritius , Bulgaria , UAE , Kenya , and India , reaffirming the truly international character of the event.

Dr. Himani Choudhary, Director, AAFT School of Fashion & Design, expressed pride in the students’ creativity and dedication. She highlighted that the showcased collections represented a blend of contemporary trends, sustainability, craftsmanship, and cultural narratives, reflecting AAFT’s strong academic framework and industry-oriented training.

The exhibition received an overwhelming response from international guests, designers, diplomats, and media professionals, who lauded the students for their originality, professionalism, and global outlook.

The International Fashion Summit and exhibition successfully reinforced Marwah Studios and AAFT School of Fashion & Design as dynamic hubs of global fashion education, collaboration, and creative excellence, truly living up to the spirit of “Fashion Beyond Borders.”

AAFT India and Kisii Kenya Signed MOU in Education

AAFT India and Kisii Kenya Signed MOU at Busan South Korea


 

Busan: An agreement has been signed between India through AAFT University and Kenya through Kisii University to develop and promote relations through art and culture especially by supporting education during the World Education Leaders Forum at the time of World Cultural Camp in Busan, South Korea.

 

“The Plan is consequently anchored on six strategic objectives that include: to produce skilled and competent human resource; generate and disseminate knowledge; provide technological solutions to the community and industry; establish, network and strengthen partnerships with strategic institutions; establish and maintain infrastructure and services, and improve financial sustainability,” said John S Akama Vice Chancellor Kisii University Kenya while signing the MOU with AAFT University India.

 

It is a marvelous opportunity for both the institutions and countries to look into the interest of each other in education and provide necessary exchange programs to supplement culture development. We hope we will do well in short period of time,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor AAFT University of Media And Arts, Raipur and Noida India.

 

The efforts of both the institution shall be supported reinforced by Indo Kenya Film And Culture Forum of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment industry.

AAFT Join Hands With KAG East University Kenya

AAFT India KAG Kenya Join Hand Together in Education


Busan: “Learning has no boundaries. The capacity to learn is a gift, the ability to learn is a skill and willingness to learn is a choice. Never stop learning, when we stop learning we stop growing,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University while signing the MOU in a international education forum at Busan, South Korea during Global Cultural Camp.

 

AAFT- Asian Academy of Film And Television joined hands with KAG East University of Kenya for better interaction and promoting each other’s specializations in both the countries India and Kenya.

 

“Kenya is looking forward to promote its film and television business, who can be better partner than AAFT with vast experience and know how. We join hands to grow together,” said Dinah Mwinzi Vice Chancellor of KAG East University Nairobi, Kenya accepting the offer of working together. KAG EAST UNIVERSITY is a private university owned by the Kenya Assemblies of God.

 

Dr. Sandeep Marwah also informed the house about Indo Kenya Film And Cultural Forum of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry, the only dedicated chamber in the World to M&E industry.
