Moroccan Film Horses of God Screened at 14th Global Film Festival

Screening of Film Horses of God Inaugurated by Moroccan Ambassador

NOIDA: H.E. Mohamed Maliki Ambassador of Morocco to India was present himself to inaugurate the screening of film-Horses of God from Morocco, an entry to 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021 on the third & final day of the festival.

“I congratulate Sandeep Marwah and International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry for organizing such a grand show for three days in Noida and attracting people from so many countries of the World. The efforts are worth praising many times. We are thankful for Screening Moroccan Film as special entry to the festival. Indo Morocco Film and Cultural Forum will bring more colors to our relationship,” said H.E. Mohamed Maliki Ambassador of Morocco to India.

“Indo Morocco Film And Cultural Forum is putting its best to develop and promote relation between the people of two countries through art and culture,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chair for forum.

Present on the occasion renowned actress Payal Ghosh, Cultural Counselor and Head of Iran Cultural House Dr. Mohd Ali Rabbani, Deputy Head of the Mission High Commission of Gambon Lamin Singhateh, renowned film director Rahul Rawail, actress Mahima Bakshi and many people from the film and television fraternity were present there.

Ashok Tyagi Secretary General of International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry extended his special thanks to all the members of International Film and Television Club for their unconditional support and thanked H.E. Mohamed Maliki for inaugurating the session.

Films from Iran Screened at 14th Global Film Festival

NOIDA: Some of the most interesting films from Iran have been brought to 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021 by the Iran Cultural House in New Delhi. All the films including ‘Crazy Castle’, ‘Where Are My Shoes’, and ‘Bodyguard’ were screened on the same day- when the exhibition of art and culture was also inaugurated at Marwah Studios.

“Iran Culture House have been partners with International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry in every possible event at Marwah Studios. We have been conducting many programs together to create awareness about our wonderful relationship and to showcase the vast and deep culture of Iran to the people of India. This time we have the exhibition of different arts from Iran including Cinema,” said Dr. Mohd Ali Rabbani Cultural Counselor of Embassy of Iran.

Iran and India relationship goes back to centuries. From there to new cinema from Iran shows our strong friendship. The films are master pieces and I am sure you will enjoy them ,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios and Chair Indo Iran Film and Cultural Forum.

The films were screened in a house full auditorium including special guest from different parts of the country. Actor Mahima Bakshi, Wellness Expert Garima Bhandari, Dr Leila Mostofi from Iran, Deputy Head of the Mission High Commission of Gambia Lamin Singhateh, Actor Payal Ghosh also expressed their views.

Sandeep Marwah Addressed World Youth Summit 2021

New Delhi 31st July: “Youths of the World now need a new definition of Education so that we can empower them with new energy and utilize the youth power for better purposes. Too much of everything has spoiled somewhere the balance of culture and living,” said Dr Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts in a webinar organised by CWSIR-Charles Walter’s Society for Innovation and Research  on line.

“The education system should bring in lots of enthusiasm and excitement in day-to-day affairs. It should lead to development of personality and concentration, dedication through punctuality regularity and sincerity. We all should learn how to work in the given resources keeping in mind the sustainable development goals,” added Dr Marwah while addressing the session and giving new meaning of education.

The webinar was conducted by Dr. Kusum Kanwar. Salwa Kader representative of IFPSD United Nations, Dr. Bless Maricar B Ramos Educator of Philippines, Dither Balderas Cyber Learning Expert from Mexico, M J Tolan author & Coach from USA, and Ismat Zarin Academician from Bangladesh were the other speakers.

AAFT University Invited Veteran Journalists to Speak on Roles And Responsibilities


Webinar on Roles and Responsibilities of Journalist at AAFT University

Raipur: “I extend my tribute to those journalists who all have lost their lives on duty during pandemic. My gratitude and regards to every journalist who has been a part of this tough reporting during these 18 months of pandemic. All this proves that there are thousands of journalists who understands their roles and responsibilities of their profession and add value to this fourth pillar of democracy,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts initiating the webinar designed to discuss roles and responsibilities of Journalists.

“You can never grow in a profession unless and until you have love and passion for your work. There is no alternate to creating experience for your own self which is only possible by working within the industry. Deep interest for journalism can take you to heights,” said Prof. K.G.Suresh Vice Chancellor of Makhanlal Chaturvedi University giving examples from his own life.

“You need not to be too sweet to the establishment. Only journalist has the power to criticize openly. Reminding and creating alerts through press changed the current position of facilities during pandemic attack in India. The credit goes to the responsible journalists who could see the disaster in advance,” said Ajay Shukla Group Editor ITV Network.

“Being a journalist means, a duty round the year. You cannot ignore an issue if you are not on duty. A sensible journalist understands that his duty towards public and nation. If you are in profession than you must be alert and vigilant all the time,” said Onkareshwar Pandey Editor in Chief Indian Observer Post.

“Criticizing all the time, molding news to own benefit, hurting community, provoking words, manipulating situations, not covering the other side of the news and abusing government on all occasion is not the journalism. If your reporting is not balanced it can create many errors in the day-to-day life,” said Manogya Loiwal Editor ABP News.

“Government and private Organizations should come forward to keep the confidence of the journalists intact by providing them enough to live happily. When other three pillars the Executives, Legislatives, Judiciary are secured from all angles why can’t we think about journalists also,” added Harish Chandra Burnwal.

Soumyajit Mahapatra Chair Kolkata Chapter Public Relation Society of India expressed the role of PR and Vipin Gaur Secretary News Papers Association of India spoke about the role of journalistic organizations in India. The discussion was followed by question answers. Event was conducted by Dr. Shweta Bajaj and supported by IJC- International Journalism Centre & ICMEI- International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry. (ANA)
