New Delhi, March 26, 2025: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) extends its heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency Md. Mustafizur Rahman, High Commissioner of Bangladesh to India, and to the people of Bangladesh on the occasion of their Independence Day, observed annually on March 26th.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI and Founder of Marwah Studios, lauded the strong historical, cultural, and emotional ties that bind India and Bangladesh. “On this momentous day, we salute the resilience, courage, and unwavering spirit of the people of Bangladesh. We extend our warm wishes to His Excellency Md. Mustafizur Rahman and all citizens of Bangladesh as they celebrate the achievements and journey of their great nation,” Dr. Marwah said.
Dr. Marwah also took the opportunity to highlight the ongoing progress of the Indo-Bangladesh Film and Cultural Forum, an initiative launched by ICMEI to enhance cultural cooperation between the two countries. “The Indo-Bangladesh Film and Cultural Forum is working tirelessly to promote meaningful collaborations in cinema, arts, literature, and cultural exchange. We are proud of the work being done to bring together creative minds from both nations,” he stated.
“Our cultural ties go far beyond borders. The people of India and Bangladesh share a deep bond that is reflected in our languages, music, literature, and cinema. ICMEI, through the Indo-Bangladesh Film and Cultural Forum, is committed to further strengthening this bond,” Dr. Marwah added.
