Sandeep Marwah Inaugurates and Receives Honour at Odisha International Aadi Mahotsav at IIC

New Delhi, India— The Odisha International Aadi Mahotsav, presented by AKS and curated by renowned classical dancer Dr. Chandana Raul, unfolded with magnificent cultural splendour at the India International Centre, celebrating India’s rich tribal, folk, and classical heritage. The festival was formally inaugurated by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and widely regarded as the Global Cultural Minister for his extraordinary global contributions to art and culture.

The vibrant showcase featured an enchanting lineup of classical dances, soulful music, and energetic performances by diverse tribal groups. The colourful presentations, marked by precision, grace, and artistic brilliance, captivated the audience. The perfectly synchronised dance sequences in particular earned overwhelming admiration from cultural enthusiasts and dignitaries in attendance.

In his inaugural address, Dr. Sandeep Marwah expressed deep appreciation for the artists and the essence of the Mahotsav. He said, “India’s cultural diversity is one of its greatest strengths. Festivals like the Odisha International Aadi Mahotsav not only preserve our heritage but also inspire future generations to understand, celebrate, and promote the treasure of Indian art forms. I am humbled to be part of this extraordinary initiative.”

The event also witnessed the distinguished presence of Ambassador Amendra Khatua, former Indian High Commissioner to Argentina (with concurrent accreditation to Uruguay and Paraguay) and former Ambassador to Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea, and Liberia, as well as High Commissioner to Sierra Leone.
Sharing his thoughts, Ambassador Khatua said, “Art and culture build bridges between communities and nations. This festival is a shining example of how traditional expressions can unite people and spread the message of harmony.”

Curator of the festival, Dr. Chandana Raul, herself a celebrated classical dancer, spoke about the vision behind the event. She said, “Aadi Mahotsav is a tribute to the indigenous spirit of India. Bringing together classical and tribal artistry on one platform is our way of honouring the depth, beauty, and diversity of our cultural roots.”

In a special moment of recognition, Dr. Sandeep Marwah was honoured for his unparalleled global cultural contributions, further adding prestige to the evening. The Odisha International Aadi Mahotsav concluded with resounding applause and heartfelt appreciation from all attendees, reaffirming the timeless relevance of India’s cultural and artistic heritage.
