Noida, India: In a moment of pride and diplomatic warmth, Chandradath Singh, High Commissioner of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago to India, formally honoured Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios, for his outstanding leadership as Chair of the Indo–Trinidad & Tobago Film and Cultural Forum for four consecutive years.

The recognition was presented in appreciation of Dr. Marwah’s dedicated and sincere efforts in developing, promoting, and strengthening cultural, cinematic, literary, and media relations between the Republic of India and the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

While addressing the gathering, High Commissioner Chandradath Singh applauded Dr. Marwah’s honest commitment and visionary approach in building strong people-to-people connections through art, cinema, journalism, fashion, and food diplomacy. He emphasized that cultural exchange remains the most powerful bridge between nations and acknowledged the consistent contribution of Dr. Marwah and his institution in bringing the two countries closer.

Over the years, Trinidad and Tobago has partnered more than twenty times in major international platforms organized by the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry. These include prestigious global events such as the Global Film FestivalGlobal Festival of JournalismGlobal Literary FestivalGlobal Fashion WeekInternational Documentary Film Festival, and the Global Food Festival, among many other international initiatives.

Under Dr. Marwah’s chairmanship, the Indo–Trinidad & Tobago Film and Cultural Forum has actively promoted film collaborations, student exchange programs, cultural delegations, media interactions, and business opportunities in creative industries. His leadership has opened new avenues for filmmakers, journalists, writers, designers, and artists from both nations to collaborate on global platforms.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, while expressing his gratitude for the honour, stated that India and Trinidad & Tobago share deep historical, cultural, and emotional bonds rooted in heritage and shared values. He reiterated his commitment to further enhancing bilateral cooperation through creative arts and media diplomacy.
