St. Petersburg: Renowned film, television and media personality Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios was invited by St. Petersburg State University of Film and Television, St. Petersburg, Russia during the PiterKit film festival organised by the university to address the students in a master class online.

“India and Russia are the best of friends and committed to each other through art, culture and business from a very long time. Many exchange programs have already taken place. I extend my heartiest welcome to the students of St. Petersburg State University of Film & Television to visit Noida Film City and see for themselves how we are organised. I feel happy in presenting scholarship to the University for the deserving student including boarding and lodging for a short-term course,” said Sandeep Marwah while talking in detail about the formation of Noida Film City, Marwah Studios and Asian Academy of Film and Television.

Dr. Marwah motivated the students by telling his own life story and emphasised on the strong determination to carry the film, television, and media business in any part of the World. Dr. Marwah also mention his involvement with Russia as chair for Indo Russia Film and Cultural Forum and his visits to Moscow, St. Petersburg in 2019

Dr Marwah is Patron to BRICS Forum and has entertained many Russian delegations at AAFT, Noida Film City. Later He answered many questions asked by the film students of the University.

St. Petersburg: President of Marwah Studios Sandeep Marwah has been nominated as the member of the jury of St. Petersburg State University of Film and TV festival comprising of large number of short fiction films and documentaries.

Sandeep Marwah is also the President of Asian Academy of Film and Television and all the international festivals designed by International Film and Television Club in India. Dr. Marwah is also the Chair of Indo Russian Film and Cultural Forum involved in bring the people of two countries close to each other through art and culture.

The festival has been designed online so that large number of film makers can be associated with the festival from different parts of the World. Sandeep Marwah, the producer of largest short films in the World, will also speak on the inauguration day of the festival. Recently Akshay Marwah of AAFT had fruitful meeting with the management of the University during his visit to Russia.

To strengthen the relation between two countries Indo Russian Film And Cultural Forum was created not very long ago. Ample has been done under this setup. The visit of Dr. Sandeep Marwah to Moscow and St. Petersburg last years and now by Akshay Marwah CEO of Marwah Studios has brought lots of closeness within the art and culture circle of two countries.

Dr. Marwah has invited many Russian artists and also been to Russian programs to bring in love peace and unity through art and culture which is the purpose of the organization.

Gadzhimurad Omarov – deputy of the Russian State Duma, Irina Volynets – Commissioner for the Rights of the Child in the Republic of Tatarstan, J. ​Bissoondoyal – Minister Counsellor of the embassy pf Mauritius to the Russian Federation spoke on the indo Russian relations and creative arts. The association honored S.R. Vishwanath from Bangalore with prestigious award for his untiring contribution to social work and promotion of Indo Russian relations.

SR Vishwanath is an Indian Politician  from the state of Karnataka . He is in his third term as member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly  from BJP. He represents Yelahanka Vidhan Sabha Constituency. He is currently the Chairman of Bangalore Development Authority  and Former Political Secretary to the Chief Minister of Karnataka and has been given Cabinet rank status.
