International Children’s Film Forum Celebrated Girl Child Day at Marwah Studios

Noida, 24th January: The International Children’s Film Forum (ICFF), in association with the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), International Women’s Film Forum,  and AAFT, celebrated Girl Child Day at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida, with great enthusiasm and commitment towards empowering young girls.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of AAFT, emphasized the importance of education and opportunities for girls in shaping a progressive society.

“Educating and empowering girls is not just a necessity but a responsibility. At AAFT, we ensure that our education system provides special care and support to girl students, encouraging them to dream big and achieve their aspirations,” said Dr. Marwah.

The event also highlighted the contributions of Apna School, an initiative dedicated to providing education for underprivileged children, with a strong focus on girls’ education and overall development.

The celebration included motivational talks. Faculty members, students, and social activists came together to pledge their support for gender equality and girl empowerment.

With such initiatives, AAFT, ICMEI, and ICFF continue to advocate for a more inclusive and equitable society, ensuring that every girl gets the education and opportunities she deserves.

Apna School Launched Higher Classes For Unprivileged Children


 

Noida: A school designed and executed by Marwah Studios for the benefits of unprivileged children, opened few years back with 8 students completed its 8th year today with 12 branches and 800 students who are studying free of cost in these tiny schools.

It is a great effort of Ritu Sinha, the principle of the school who has been managing all the eight branches of Apna School with the help of 12 teachers and number of supporting volunteers. She deserves all the appreciation and love and respect from the society,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah while inaugurating the new sections in all the schools in Noida.

“Today is a Girl Child Day and Sandeep Marwah has opted the right day to announce the extension of the school. I must extend my gratitude towards Ritu Sinha for her untiring efforts for the promotion of education to the needy students,” said Bimla Batham president of the Uttar Pradesh State Commission for Women in the capacity of Chief Guest.

I am indebted to Sandeep Marwah for his continuous support , guidance, and advise  in building up this school from no where to the stage where we can claim our contribution in education in slums,” said Ritu Sinha Principle of Apna School.

Later Ritu Sinha presented memento and honored Sandeep Marwah, Mahesh Saxena of Noida Lok Manch, Ashok Srivastava of Navrattan Foundation and Bimla Batham for the support.

Sandeep Marwah Honored by Noida Association of unprivileged Children


Association of 1000 Unprivileged Children Honours Marwah


Noida: An event to present certificates to all those students who have done well in the slums of Noida was organized by ‘Apna School’ at the Slums of sector 16 now named as Shiv Nagari.

More than 100 students and 12 teachers were awarded out of 12 different schools run by Radio Noida a community radio station of Noida city for their extra ordinary performance in delivering education.

“Sandeep Marwah is an‘Awatar’, he is a ‘Masiah’, he is the only one who has come forward to support all of us, otherwise we all would have been cleaning floors of other houses. The education for children has totally changed the concept of 1000 families in Noida. We have started looking for better jobs and now sure about a bright future for our children,” said Ritu Lal leader from the slums.

“Sandeep Marwah deserve the highest award from Government and society for his continuous and untiring efforts to help, support and taking the responsibility of thousands of people of slums,” added Local leader while handing over the memento to Marwah.

“I am thankful to almighty for giving me this opportunity to serve the community through radio and education,” said Sandeep Marwah of Marwah Studios.

Apna School Grown Big in Noida


Inauguration of Library at Apna School


Noida: A school planned by Marwah Studios for the underprivileged children 10 years ago, has grown bigger in size, quality and quantity. Now there are 15 branches with almost 1000 students studying in primary classes.

“It is the occasion to celebrate our success as we have grown from one to fifteen in numbers, students have grown from 40 to 1000 and hundreds of students after learning, have joined regular schools in Noida,” said Ritu Sinha Pricipal of the School.

“I am honored to be associated with the Team Apna School. Today we are opening a library and Shishu Sansthan for Shiv Nagari. Slums do not sound comfortable to all of us. Few years back I had to change the name to Shiv Nagari. I am sure the children in these colonies will take full advantage of Library and ladies of Shishu Sansthan,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

Many dignities from Noida were present there to participate in this holy event at Shiv Nagari. An entertainment program followed the formal inauguration by the school children.

7th Branch of Apna School Launched By Marwah Studios




“International Children’s Film Forum has not forgotten its responsibility of helping the society by uplifting unprivileged children of slums through films and other mediums” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios while inaugurating the 7th Branch of APNA SCHOOL in the slums of sector 18 at Noida.

The earlier branches of APNA SCHOOL are running in the slums of sector 15, 16, 17 and other villages of Noida. An organization started with 8 students a year back has achieved the target of 350 students who are getting free education in these schools.

I feel honored and satisfied what ICFF in association with Radio Noida putting its best to promote education for the unprivileged students. Education is the need of the day” added Sandeep Marwah who has always been a part of social activities in the capital New Delhi and suburbs.

The schools are administered by Ritu Sinha, full time teacher and social worker and supervise by Brahm Prakash of Radio Noida 107.4 FM. Others who were present there and spoke included Vimla Batham a social worker, Satpal Yadav (Adhayaksh - Jila kisan Morcha), Vijendra Nagar ( Jila - Adhayaksh), Sateesh Gautam (Jila - Mantri), Dimpal Anand (Adhayaksh - Jila Mahila Morcha) and R.K.Singh.

Social Activity Should Be Part Of Everyday Life -Sandeep Marwah

“Serving people and social activity should be the part of your everyday routine” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios A Creative Enterprise while handing over three prestigious award in the field of writing to veteran writers Kali Prashad Ghariyal, Shyam Vimal and Sarojani Kulsherestra on the anniversary of late Asha Rani Vohra at Surya Sansthan, Noida.

“I am happy that now I am associated with Surya Sansthan and would like to contribute in serving downtrodden and unprivileged children.” added Sandeep Marwah. Surya Sansthan opted to help three families by presenting them sewing machines on the occasion

Others who spoke on the occasion were Dinesh Mishr vice President of the organization, Devender Mittal the secretary and Somdutt Dixit the member of the board. Later a brochure was also released under the editorship of Ramsharan Gaur.The event was attended by the who’s who of Noida.
