ICMEI Extends Heartiest Congratulations to the Republic of Kazakhstan on Its Independence Day

Noida, India: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), on behalf of the global Media and Entertainment Industry and the Art and Culture fraternity, extended his heartiest congratulations to His Excellency Mr. Azamat Yeskarayev, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and to the people of Kazakhstan on the auspicious occasion of Kazakhstan Independence Day, celebrated on 16th December.

Dr. Marwah lauded the strong and ever-growing relationship between India and Kazakhstan, particularly in the fields of culture, media, education, and creative industries. He highlighted Kazakhstan’s consistent and valued partnership with ICMEI across numerous prestigious international platforms.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah stated, “Kazakhstan has been an integral partner of ICMEI in almost every major global initiative. From the Global Film Festival, Global Fashion Week, Global Festival of Journalism, Global Literary Festival, International Food Festival, to the International Documentary Film Festival, Kazakhstan’s active participation has significantly enriched these platforms and strengthened cultural diplomacy between our two nations.”

He further appreciated the support and leadership extended by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in promoting cultural exchange and mutual understanding through art, cinema, fashion, literature, and media.

Dr. Marwah reaffirmed ICMEI’s commitment to further strengthening Indo–Kazakh relations by expanding collaborative programs, artist exchanges, joint festivals, and institutional partnerships in the coming years.

Concluding his message, Dr. Sandeep Marwah wished the leadership and people of Kazakhstan continued peace, prosperity, and success, while expressing confidence that the friendship between India and Kazakhstan will grow stronger through sustained cultural and creative cooperation.

Noida, 16th December: On the joyous occasion of Kazakhstan’s Independence Day, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), extended his heartfelt congratulations to H.E. Nurlan Zhalgasbayev, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to India, and the people of Kazakhstan. This significant day, celebrated on 16th December, marks a proud moment in the history of Kazakhstan.

New Delhi: The 25th Republic Day of Kazakhstan, was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Sandeep Marwah, a distinguished media personality and the Chair of the Indo Kazakhstan Film and Cultural Forum. The event took place at the prestigious Sheraton New Delhi Hotel, under the patronage of His Excellency Nurlan Zhalgasbayev, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to India.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, representing both the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry and the entire arts and culture fraternity of India, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the people of Kazakhstan on this significant milestone in their nation’s history.

India and Kazakhstan have shared a long and harmonious relationship, marked by cooperation in various fields. Kazakhstan Documentary Honoured with Award of Distinction at 11th GFJN

A Documentary From Kazakhstan won Award of Distinction at GFJN 2023

Noida: The Global Festival  of Journalism Noida is a cultural event, designed by International Journalism Centre, that also showcases films, music, and art from around the world. As part of the festival, the International Documentary section features a diverse selection of documentary films from various countries, covering a wide range of topics such as social issues, environmental concerns, and human interest stories. These thought-provoking documentaries provide a unique perspective on global issues and promote cross-cultural understanding among festival attendees,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah founder of Noida Film City and President of GFJN while inaugurating the film from Kazakhstan.

A film titled-January Events Facts and Arguments Kazakhstan was screened. The 11-minute film, which tells the key developments of each day from Jan. 1, 2022, to Jan. 8, 2022, has covered looters’ attacks against police and civilians and actions of law enforcement agencies from surveillance cameras, as well as personal interviews with detainees and victims. The film is Produced by National Film Studios Kazakhstan.

Ardak Kakimzhanov First Secretary Embassy of Kazakhstan and  Dr Lavlin Thadani Film maker & writer were the guest of honour. Later Dr. Marwah presented Award of Distinction to film from Kazakhstan in a grand function at Marwah Studios. The event was supported by Indo Khazakhstan Film and Cultural Forum & World Peace Development and Research Foundation.

Noida: The founder of Film City and Marwah Studios Dr. Sandeep Marwah was honored by Embassy of Kazakhstan in New Delhi for his untiring efforts to develop and promote relation between the two countries India and Kazakhstan, during the first day of 15th Global Film Festival Noida 2022 by Yerlan Shakhay, third secretary, Embassy of Kazakhstanon, on behalf of the Ambassador of Kazakhstan H.E.  Nurlan Zhalgasbayev,

“We are proud to be associated with International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, Marwah Studios and AAFT University. The cooperation we get from these organization is commendable under the leadership of Dr. Sandeep Marwah. Baluan Sholak from Kazakhstan Presented with Award of Distinction

Baluan Sholak Film from Kazakhstan won Award of Distinction at 15th GFFN

Noida: The first day of 15th Global Film Festival Noida 2022 also screened award winning film from Kazakhstan. Yerlan Shakhay, Third Secretary Embassy of Kazakhstan light the ceremonial lamp to start the discussion on the film.

In 19th century Kazakhstan, the famous Kazakh fighter and poet, Baluan Sholak, became a national icon when as he tries to protect his people from a pressing wave of immigrants, who threatened to wipe out the peace of his small town. This is the story of a national hero, who faced an increasingly authoritarian government that decided to expatriate Kazakh lands to offer them to newcomers from the Russian Empire. The legend of Baluan Sholak is one of national passion, rebellion and perseverance.

Not only Dr. Sandeep Marwah presented an Award of Distinction to the film which was received by Yerlan Shkhay Third Secretary Embassy of Kazakhstan, but Yerlan also presented a memento to Sandeep Marwah on behalf of the Ambassador for his untiring contribution to Indo Kazakhstan Relation and Chairing Indo Kazakhstan Film and Cultural Forum.

Korepanova Anna Model from Russia, Tatiana Bhardwaj, Secretary General a social worker representing Russia House Federation were among the other guests. The event was supported by International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, Asian Unity Alliance, AAFT University and World Peace Development & Research Foundation.

Noida: “We are honoured to be part of this great 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021, and it is our privileged to be the opening film of the festival. India and Kazakhstan relation go back into centuries. We are here to develop and promote relations between the people of two countries. I am sure the film will depict the rich culture of Kazakhstan and will impress you with its story,” said HE Nurlan Zhalgasbayev, Ambassador of Kazakhstan in his opening remarks at the screening of the film in a house full auditorium.

“I have already titled Dr. Sandeep Marwah as the showman of India, no one designs festival better than him. The zest and enthusiasm at Marwah Studios are par excellence. Film Federation of India extends its heartiest congratulations on the opening of 14th edition of Global Film Festival and especially to the country of Kazakhstan for the opening film,” said T.P. Agarwal President FFI.

“The festival has 52 events in three days including 9 seminars, 14 workshops, 9 award winning international films, retrospective of Director Rahul Rawail, AAFT Films, ASMS Films, Films on Disability, Children’s Films, 7 Exhibitions, 3 discussions on Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, Mahatma Gandhi and Shakespeare, 3 Important days Disability Day, Navy Day, World Computer Literacy Day, Launching of new film on Mental Health, a musical evening, a fashion show and an award function. This festival will take everyone to new film spiritualism,” said Sandeep Marwah President of 14th GFFN.

Present on the occasion HE Asein Isaev Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan mentioned about his festival at Marwah Studios last month as the curtain raiser of 14th GFFN.  HE Andrey Rzheussky Ambassador of Belarus expressed his deep interest in the participation next year. HE Dilshod Akhatov Ambassador of Uzbekistan informed about Marwah Studios participation in Tashkent International Film Festival in October this year. HE Lukmon Bobokalozoda Ambassador of Tajikistan expressed his desire to launch Indo Tajikstan Film and Cultural Forum at ICMEI.

“I have been to almost best of the festivals of the World, never ever seen this kind of arrangements, events and energy. Dr. Marwah is indeed a Global Media Person and source of inspiration for the Global Media and Entertainment Industry,” added Mike Berry of Universal Studios of United States of America.

The feature film Myn Bala directed by Akan Satayev, produced by Ana Kachkon, music by Renat Gaysin from Kazakhstan was screened as the opening film was 100 minutes and real piece of art.  Myn Bala is a 2011 Kazakhstani historical dramatic film depicting the eighteenth century war fought between the Kazakhs and the Dzungar Khanate.  The film was made to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s independence from the Soviet Union. Its production cost over $7 million USD.
