Sri Lankan Delegation Honours Dr. Sandeep Marwah for Strengthening Bilateral Cultural Relations

Noida, India: In a significant gesture of appreciation and cross-cultural recognition, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chair of the Indo Sri Lanka Film and Cultural Forum, was honoured by a distinguished delegation from Sri Lanka for his exceptional efforts in fostering and promoting cultural ties between India and Sri Lanka.

The event was chaired by H.E. Dr. M N Sardar Ali, accompanied by cultural advocate Shobhanaa Dhimaan, who lauded Dr. Marwah’s dedication to building strong people-to-people connections through cinema, media, and cultural exchange.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, also recognized as a Cultural Ambassador, emphasized the importance of art and culture in bridging international relations. “Cinema and culture are powerful mediums that unite people across borders. Our continued collaboration with Sri Lanka will deepen the bond of friendship and shared heritage,” he said.

Shobhanaa Dhimaan highlighted the enduring partnership between the two countries and praised the Indo Sri Lanka Film and Cultural Forum for its consistent efforts in curating meaningful dialogue through the arts.

In his remarks, H.E. Dr. M N Sardar Ali expressed gratitude and optimism for the growing relationship between India and Sri Lanka, stressing the need for continued cultural exchange and collaborative ventures.

As a mark of deep respect and recognition, Dr. Sandeep Marwah honoured H.E. Dr. M N Sardar Ali with the prestigious Life Membership of the International Film and Television Club and the Patronship of the Indo Sri Lanka Film and Cultural Forum.

The ceremony served as a testament to the power of cultural diplomacy and the shared commitment of both nations to peace, friendship, and creative collaboration.

Sandeep Marwah Inaugurates Indo-Sri Lanka Cooperation Summit at KRIBHCO Auditorium

Noida, India:  Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chair of the Indo-Sri Lanka Film and Cultural Forum, inaugurated the Indo-Sri Lanka Cooperation Summit organized by the Indo-Sri Lanka Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ISCCI) at KRIBHCO Auditorium, Noida.

During his address, Dr. Marwah emphasized the significance of India-Sri Lanka relations and discussed strategies to further strengthen cultural and business ties between the two nations. Highlighting the role of media, film, and cultural exchange, he reiterated the importance of fostering goodwill through collaborative initiatives.

As a gesture of support for education and skill development, Dr. Marwah announced a scholarship from AAFT University for a deserving student from Sri Lanka, reinforcing the commitment to empowering young talents from the neighbouring country.
