Noida, India: The 10th Global Fashion & Design Week Noida 2026 witnessed an inspiring display of creativity and innovation with a grand Furniture Exhibition presented by the students of the AAFT School of Interior Design at Hall 2, Marwah Studios.

The exhibition showcased unique furniture pieces conceptualized and designed by students, drawing inspiration from diverse cultures across the globe. Each creation reflected in-depth research into the art, heritage, and design sensibilities of different countries, transforming traditional influences into contemporary furniture design.

The exhibition was inaugurated by a distinguished panel of international dignitaries including H.E. Karlito Nunes, Ambassador of Timor-Leste; H.E. Harisoa Lalatiana Accouche, High Commissioner of Seychelles; Kairat Nurmolda from the Embassy of Kazakhstan; Dr. Gaurav Hans, Founder of BBMG Foundation, UK; Nawab Syed Algazi; Councellor General Liberland, Debarun Mukherjee Designer from Kolkata; Nirosha Herath Minister Councellor High Commission of Sri Lanka ; and Thilina Galappatti, Second Secretary from High Commission of Sri Lanka.

New Delhi: “I on behalf of ICMEI and complete media & entertainment industry and art and culture fraternity extend my heartiest congratulations to H.E.  Austin Fernando High Commissioner to Sri Lanka to India and people of Sri Lanka on the auspicious day of  their Independence Day which falls on 4th February,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

The relationship between India and Sri Lanka is more than 2,500 years old. Both countries have a legacy of intellectual, cultural, religious and linguistic interaction. In recent years, the relationship has been marked by close contacts at all levels. Trade and investment have grown and there is cooperation in the fields of development, education, culture and defence. Both countries share a broad understanding on major issues of international interest.

Recently ICMEI sponsored a car drive to Sri Lanka carrying a message of Love, Peace and Unity through Art and Culture.

New Delhi: “We are the leaders of Yoga in the World.  21st June is been given to the World as International Yoga Day. It feels great when any foreign country adds color to yoga. I am impressed by the High Commission of Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in New Delhi for organizing a wonderful evening at Embassy,” said Sandeep Marwah of Marwah Studios & President of Indo Sri Lanka Film And Cultural Forum.

An impressive program designed by Global Yog Alliance was presented at Embassy of Sri Lanka to relate foreign delegates and people from different industries to the benefits of Yoga.” We have brought the international award winning students to all of you. They are the real ambassadors of youth and yoga,” said Dr. Gopal Ji President of Global Yog Alliance.

Yoga is an international word now. Promoting yoga means promoting humanity. I am thankful to all the organizations for putting up a powerful show at High Commission,” thanked H.E. Mrs. Chitranganee Wagiswara High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to India.

Acharya Satyandra Narain of Confederation of World Religion and Atul Kumar of Indian Importers Chambers of Commerce & Industry were also present there.
