London: CEGR- Centre for Education Growth and Research President Dr Sandeep Marwah also Chancellor of AAFT University is in London attending different seminars and sessions where he was asked   to inform the basic    information on India’s education system. Answering the question Dr Marwah said that a chancellor is a leader of a college or university, usually either the executive or ceremonial head of the university or of a university campus within a university system.

He informed that the term ‘higher education’ with respect to India denotes the tertiary level education that is imparted after 12 years of schooling (10 years of primary education and 2 years of secondary education). The Department of Higher Education, MoE is responsible for the overall development of the basic infrastructure of Higher Education sector, both in terms of policy and planning.

 A professor is the highest academic title held at a college, university, or postsecondary institution. Professors are accomplished and recognized academics — and usually considered experts in their areas of interest

The top 6 States in terms of highest number of colleges in India are Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu and these States have more than 30 colleges per lakh population except Uttar Pradesh, which has the college density of 20 only.

The objective of higher education is to give both knowledge and wisdom. Educational system must find its guiding principle in the aims of the social order. It should inculcate democratic idealism among the learners.

The UGC`s mandate includes determining and maintaining standards of teaching, examination, and research in universities. Framing regulations on minimum standards of education. Monitoring developments in the field of collegiate and university education; disbursing grants to the universities and colleges.

There are three types of universities: Conventional Universities, Deemed Universities and Institutions of National Importance. While Conventional Universities are established through Act of Parliament or State Legislatures, Deemed Universities award degrees through the notification of the central government.

Ghaziabad: Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios was invited as a special guest to address the valedictory function of 30th Annual National Convention of Ghaziabad Management Association on web.  Three hours long program with different sessions attracted more than 9000 members of the organization. “How To Make India A Five Trillion Economy” was the topic of the day.

“I have heard every one here and I can only say that there is no need to be depressed, Covid 19 is just a phase. We all should be rather enthusiastic about the vision of Hon’able Prime Minister who has been very correct when earlier he was launching Green India, Clean Ganga, Digital India, Clean India and you have seen every scheme has been well utilized at the time when the World is suffering from Covid 19,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chancellor AAFT University of Media And Arts.

“Taking GDP to five trillion dollars is not just the dream it is going to be reality soon. You are forgetting that GDP of India is already touching around three trillion dollars. We are 7th producers of Car in the World. We rank 2nd in Cement production, we are 2nd in Textile manufacturing and exports, 4th in refining, 4th in power productions, 4th in cumulative installation of   wind power projects, 4th country to possess Missiles Ballistic Defense system, we have 4th largest rail network, 2nd largest road network, 2nd largest English speaking country, 3rd largest in steel production, We have 4th most powerful Army and Navy in the World and soon we will be touching better numbers in all these and other fields, “expressed Dr. Marwah while talking to the audience.

“India is the biggest consumer Market and what we need is to make every thing in India. We have to be self sufficient and self-reliant. We will soon be touching a figure of 5 trillion dollar GDP. Lets promise all of us that we will be truthful to the nation and honest to our own business and profession. We will work hard and will show to the World that Indian are no less,” added Sandeep Marwah and motivated the audience.
