Austrian Delegation Participates in Media & Entertainment Summit at Marwah Studios

Noida: A distinguished delegation from Austria participated in the Media & Entertainment Summit organized by the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida. The summit witnessed highly engaging discussions and productive interactions aimed at strengthening creative and business collaborations between India and Austria.

The event was graciously supported by the Indo-Austria Film and Cultural Forum and Embassy of Austria, further reinforcing cultural and professional ties between the two nations.

The Austrian delegation included prominent professionals and industry leaders such as Paul Bock; Darshna Katkoria; Maximilian Jakob Maag; Georg Molzer; Felix Oncken; Ram Vinay Pandey; Viktor Wagner; Alexander Windberger; Ajay Singh; and Oscar Ritter, along with other esteemed members including Sravani Thota, Gunther Herbsthofer, Susanne Ebner-Mayer, Johannes Pröll, Thomas Kendöl, and Armin Josef Dax-Sinkovits.

Addressing the gathering, Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI, spoke extensively on the growing scope of Indo-Austrian relations, particularly in the fields of media, entertainment, and creative industries. Noida: The spirit of creativity and literary unity reached a new height at the 11th Global Literary Festival Noida 2025, held at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida, with the grand launch of two remarkable books — “Bhav Rang” by 62 eminent writers and “Sahitya Samay aur Disha” by 45 writers, both published by Marwah Studios Publications.

The book launch ceremony was inaugurated by renowned literary figures and dignitaries including Sona Sharma, Author; Vandana Rag, Fiction Writer; Vivek Mishra, Author; Ravi Valluri, Author; Michael Pal, Cultural Director, Embassy of Austria; Faisal Mahmud, Minister (Press), High Commission of Bangladesh; and Dr. Umapati Dixit, Renowned Author, Central Hindi Institute.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Writers Association of India, expressed pride in supporting and promoting literary talent from across the nation. He said, “We had declared during the Writers Association meeting that we would love to publish books and encourage writers and poets. Today, I am delighted to see that vision take shape. Bringing together 62 and 45 talented writers under one umbrella reflects our commitment to nurturing creative voices and preserving literary excellence.”

Noida, India – The Embassy of Austria and the Indo Austria Film and Cultural Forum, in association with the International Film and Television Club, proudly hosted the screening of the Austrian feature film “Andrea Gets A Divorce”, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Josef Hader, at the 17th Global Film Festival Noida (GFFN). The event took place at Marwah Film City in a hall packed with filmmakers, cinema enthusiasts, film lovers, and students.

Noida: The 17th edition of the Global Film Festival Noida 2024, one of the most prestigious film festivals in the world, received a global start as the festival’s official poster was launched by a distinguished delegation from Austria at Marwah Studios in Noida Film City.

The Global Film Festival has grown to become the largest film festival in this part of the world, with participation from over 100 countries, either directly or through collaborations. This year’s event is organized by the International Film and Television Club in association with ICMEI (International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry) and AAFT (Asian Academy of Film and Television).

The three-day festival promises an exciting lineup of 52 events, including film screenings, workshops, seminars, exhibitions, musical and fashion shows, entertainment programs, book and poster releases, food-tasting events, a formal inauguration, and an award ceremony.
