New Delhi: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Founder of Noida Film City, President of Marwah Studios, and Chancellor of AAFT University, had the privilege of inaugurating the 9th Fit India Programme, conceived and organized by Dr. Sunita Dube, Founder of MedScape India, at the prestigious Mavalankar Hall, New Delhi. The event was graced by Dr. Kiran Bedi, Former Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry, and Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Former Union Minister, along with eminent doctors, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and distinguished guests from across the country.

Welcoming the gathering, Dr. Sunita Dube emphasized the importance of creating a healthier and fitter India through awareness, preventive healthcare, and active public participation. She appreciated the continuous support extended by leaders from diverse fields in promoting the objectives of the Fit India movement and acknowledged the contributions of Dr. Sandeep Marwah towards health awareness through education, media, and social initiatives.

Addressing the audience, Dr. Kiran Bedi highlighted that good health is the foundation of a productive and progressive nation. She appreciated organizations and individuals who have consistently worked towards spreading awareness on health, fitness, and wellness among the masses.

Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Former Union Minister, Government of India, emphasized that preventive healthcare, public awareness, and active community participation are the cornerstones of a healthy nation. He appreciated initiatives such as the Fit India Programme for inspiring citizens to adopt healthier lifestyles and encouraging collaboration between the medical fraternity, educational institutions, social organizations, and policymakers. He also commended the efforts of Dr. Sunita Dube and all the dignitaries associated with the initiative for their commitment to advancing the cause of health and wellness across the country.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah stressed that health and wellness are indispensable for individual success and national development. Noida: “When you think more and get agitated, angry, worried, depressed, dishearten, let down, lost, irritated, superstitious beyond the limit of inbuilt capacity of heart and mind, remember it starts hurting your physical and mental health. That is the time when you need to show to your doctor and might need medical check-up,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts in a webinar organised to make students alert of their habits of controlling their emotions especially for the students of AAFT by International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

“I have gone through this problem few years back when I realised it at an earlier stage that I am sick, and I need medical care for my being disturbed all the time. The medical reports revealed the imbalance of chemicals in my body which leads to abnormal conditions to an individual,” said Shivani Thapiyal Mental Health Coach who expressed and narrated her own case study and talked about the subject in detail.

Ashok Tyagi emphasised on spirituality, Albeena Abbas talked about routine matters, K.L.Malhotra explained the need of meditation, Yogesh Bhatt talked about realisation and Jasleen Kapany explained the need of medical checkup.
