ICMEI Congratulated Turkmenistan on National Day

Mumbai: “I on behalf of ICMEI and complete media and entertainment industry along with art and culture fraternity take this opportunity to extend my heartiest congratulations to H.E. Shalar Geldynazarov Ambassador of Turkmenistan to India and the people of Turkmenistan on the National Day (Independence Day) which falls on 27^th October,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Founder of Noida Film City & President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

India enjoys close, friendly and historical ties with Turkmenistan. ‘Turkman Gate’ built in Delhi in 1650s bears testimony to this friendship. Indian films and TV serials are popular here with Turkmen people. Similarly, Indian music also holds a special place in the hearts of Turkmen people informed Dr. Marwah who is also the Chair for Indo Turkmenistan Film And Cultural Forum.

The forum was launched by then the member parliament Gandhian Nirmala Deshpandey and H.E. Dr. Chinar Tadjievna Rustamova then the Cultural Councillor & Charge d’ Affairs of Embassy of Turkmenistan in India during the on going celebration of the 50^th anniversary of Bairam Khan. A documentary film on Turkmenistan made by AAFTian Gulshan Dang was also released on the same day recollected Dr. Sandeep Marwah.
