Marwah Studios Contribution to Education Appreciated

Sandeep Marwah Honoured for His Contribution to Media Education

Mumbai Founder of Noida Film city and President of Marwah Studios Sandeep Marwah was felicitated for his untiring contribution to Cinema Education today In a grand event at Celebration club in Mumbai by the Unit of feature film Red.

Dr Sandeep Marwah who is the Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts has churned out so far twenty thousand students hailing from 145 countries of the World in a span of 28 years of his involvement with media education. Most of the students are working in their chosen fields in different parts of the World informed Ashok Tyagi Director of feature film Red.

I am humbled by this award. Every award adds little more responsibility on your shoulders, which I am ready to accept with great pleasure said Sandeep Marwah.

Present on the occasion renowned director Rahul Rawail said that I have been to AAFT Noida many times and the level of education is no less than any International University.

Producer Rajeev Chaudhari of Avanti Arts and his unit of film RED appreciated the efforts of Dr. Sandeep Marwah. The trophy was handed over to Marwah by RED film crew members  including Krushna Abhishek, Shakti Kapoor, Payal Ghosh and  Zeisha Nancy,

Later the dignities also released the first poster of the forthcoming 14th Global Film Festival Noida 2021 and congratulated for the same. Jagannath Waghmare, Maan Singh, Abhijeet Shwetchandra, and many more from film fraternity were present there.

New Delhi: All the cultural forums created by International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry in association with the Embassies and High Commissions of different Asian Countries based in India are now part and parcel of Asian Unity Alliance to promote love, peace and unity through art and culture.

“Asian Unity Alliance is the umbrella for all Asian Cultural Forums. It includes all the nations from the continent of Asia. We are in conversation with every country through their representatives as how we can develop and promote relations between the countries through films, television, media, art, culture, education, environment, skill development, hospitality and tourism which is the specialisation of Asian Unity Alliance,” said Sandeep Marwah founder Chair of the organisation requesting country men to use soft power to break the ice.

“A country’s soft power is its ability to make friends and influence people. it is the things that make people love a country rather than fear it; things that are often the products of people, institutions and brands rather than governments,” added Sandeep Marwah also President of Marwah Studios.

Asian Unity Alliance is also looking for more active organizations, associations, forums, establishments, groups, societies who can come forward to support the cause, the vision and mission of Asian Unity Alliance.

5th Global Fashion and Design Week Won the Hearts of People from Art & Culture Fraternity

Last Show of 5th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 

Noida” The last show with nine rounds on the third day of fashion and design week again covering different countries won the hearts of the people from art, fashion and design fraternity. The most colorful garments, well designed were appreciated by one and all present there in the auditorium.

“It’s through mistakes that you actually can grow. You have to get bad in order to get good. You will get opportunities to show your best. Never feel dishearten or let down, one design may be bad for one but super for another. The role of the designer is that of a good, thoughtful host anticipating the needs of his guests, Design can be for garments, furniture, jewellery, interiors, cars or any thing on earth,” said Sandeep Marwah inviting guest for the last fashion show.

“I am impressed by the collection. It is beyond words. AAFT School of Fashion and Design has done a commendable job. Students are creative and their work can be compared to the best designers of the country,” said K.L. Ganju Consul General of Comoros in India.

The show began with the collection of designer Hritik Rai whose garments were influenced by the flora and fauna from Uzbekistan, Apurva displayed his collection from Comoros in the presence of Consul General of Comoros present on the occasion, Nancy highlighted the combination from Ghana, Srishtee Mittal expressed herself from the collection touching  Iran, Nishant Singh was ready with the range from Cambodia, Ritu Rani prepared garments influenced by Nigeria, Nishika Shukla  garments had the touch from Malaysia, Md. Hamzah & Rashid Latif opted the country of Iceland, Mugdha Bhasin worked for the country of South Africa and Abhinav Singh showcased from Republic of  India.

Anju Handa Founder She Connects Social Organization, Sajia Sojaei Film maker and designer from Afghanistan, Gaurav Gupta Charted President of Lion Club of Delhi Veg., Dr Rama Krishna IPS ADGPPSR7 PB UP and Ritu Lal Director AAFT School of Fashion and Design also spoke on the occasion. Later dignities released the designer Dairy of Akshita Kataria.

The event was supported by International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, International Film and Television Club, International Film and Television Research Centre, Asian Unity Alliance.  Sandeep Marwah thanked everyone involved in the festival including designers, makeup persons, models and coordinators, staff, management and faculty of AAFT and Marwah Studios.

Hustle and Bustle at 5th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 2021


New Excitement on the Third Day of 5th Global Fashion Week

Noida: “It is always sounds impossible until it is done, and we did it. 700 Garments, 200 Designers, 52 countries, 90 rounds, 8 Fashion shows, 45 furniture pieces, and all in three days at Marwah Studios in association with AAFT School of Fashion and Design, 5th Global Fashion and Design Week has been declared as one of the most well-established festivals in the country,” said Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry on the third and final day of the festival.

“To all the young designers please note that your range of garments must be exclusive, different, creative but also reasonable. That is what will make you survive for larger number of years in this competitive market. What all you have presented is out of the box and is as good as presentation by any international experienced designer,” added Sandeep Marwah.

The show started with great excitement with the range provided by Divya Mudgal and her collection was influenced by the colors of flora and fauna from Uzbekistan, Shivani Bajaj & Manish Kumar displayed very impressive collection from Cyprus, Alka played her cards influenced by Guatemala, Chhavi Gupta collected was from Hungary, Mahak Asif preferred from South Africa, Poonam opted for Bahamas, Kiran Vishwakerma designed keeping China in mind, Manish Bhatiya garments were part of Russia, Deepika showcased from Israel and  all the Diploma Students projected their garments from India,

Renowned beautician Upasana Arora, Director Indian Skills Development Council J.P. Singh, TV Presenter and model  Sharad Kohli Cultural attaché of Embassy of Kyrgyzstan Aigerim Zhakypbekova, also spoke on the occasion. A well designed dairy of Krati Jain was released by the dignities. The event was conducted by Avernita Srivastava and Prof. Ritu Lal Director AAFT School of Fashion and Design proposed vote of thanks. The event was supported by World Peace Development and Research Foundation, International Film and Television Club, International Film and Television Research Centre and Asian Unity Alliance.

AAFT University Honoured by Governor of Chhattisgarh

Raipur: “We are looking for the day when students from Chhattisgarh are going to create a wonderful name for the state on the international platform of every discipline. We want the level and the standard of education in the private universities of Chhattisgarh must be maintained to the highest level. Let the students from all over India and other parts of the World join these Universities with great confidence,”

 said H.E. Anusuiya Uikey Honourable Governor of Chhattisgarh while inaugurating the new building of The Chhattisgarh Private Universities Regulatory Commission in Raipur.

“The state of Chhattisgarh is concerned about the expansion of educational network including higher education. We want to provide best of the education to our young minds close to their place of living. We have estimated we need more colleges of higher education in the coming months. I want new courses must be introduced to compete with any state in India and abroad,” said Umesh Patel Minister of Higher Education Government of State of Chhattisgarh.

The Chhattisgarh Private Universities Regulatory Commission Chairman & First Appellate Officer, Dr Shiva Varan Shukla introduced Dr. Sandeep Marwah to the dignities and talked about the quality of education being parted in AAFT University of Media and Arts, one of the most exclusive universities of the World.

Later Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts was honoured for his untiring contribution to Higher Education by H.E. Anusuiya Uikey Governor of Chhattisgarh in the presence of Umesh Patel Minister for Higher Education in the new premises of  The Chhattisgarh Private Universities Regulatory Commission.

“I am honoured and humbled to receive the award. This is very important to me as AAFT University has been recognised with this extra ordinary reorganization by the first lady of the state,” said Sandeep Marwah thanking Ministry of Education, Government of Chhattisgarh to provide opportunity to serve the state.

World Mental Health Day Celebrated on 10th October

New Delhi: “The overall objective of World Mental Health Day is to raise awareness of mental health issues around the world and to mobilize efforts in support of mental health. The Day provides an opportunity for all stakeholders working on mental health issues to talk about their work, and what more needs to be done to make mental health care a reality for people worldwide said Dr Leila Mostofi Phd. [HCMC] SRHR Expert International Midwifery Educator from Iran at the webinar to initiate the program.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has had a major impact on people’s mental health. Some groups, including health and other frontline workers, students, people living alone, and those with pre-existing mental health conditions, have been particularly affected. And services for mental, neurological and substance use disorders have been significantly disrupted said Sandeep Marwah while inaugurating the session on World Mental Health Day.

“Mental health is one of the most neglected areas of public health. Close to 1 billion people are living with a mental disorder, 3 million people die every year from the harmful use of alcohol and one person dies every 40 seconds by suicide. And now, billions of people around the world have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, which is having a further impact on people’s mental health,” added Sandeep Marwah.

Dr Niloufar Farivar Phd Sports Medicine & RMI Iran, Dr Mary K Keller MPA Phd & Tedex Speaker from USA, Irene Chain Kollinowski RMI from News Zealand and  Dr Nan E Nelson Psychiatrist from  USA also participated in the webinar and gave wonderful suggestions towards the subject. The event was supported by WPDRF- World Peace Development and Research Foundation.

5th Global Fashion and Design Week Biggest in this Part of the Country

Noida: Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening. In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different. Dress shabbily and they remember the dress; dress impeccably and they remember the woman. It’s important for young women and men coming out of the fashion schools to think seriously before starting their own collections,” said Sandeep Marwah on the third day of President of 5th Global Fashion & Design Week Noida 2021.

The dignities were more than happy to see the collection on the ramp designed by young designers from AAFT School of Fashion and Design. H.E. Muhammed Cengic Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to India, H.E. Ung Sean Ambassador of Cambodia to India, H.E. Hayet Talbi Ambassador of Tunisia to India, and Chanrav Burenbayar Charge d’ Affaires of Embassy of Mongolia in India appreciated the show and motivated the upcoming designers. Arpana Agarwal founder Wonder Women Connect was also present there.

The fashion show started   with the grand display of garments from the collection of designers like Asushi Jaiswal who projected his influence from Tunisia in the presence of H.E. Hayet Talbi Ambassador of Tunisia. The appreciation also came from the audience when Akshay Rai Ratan brought the range from country of Bosnia & Herzegovina in the presence of H.E. Muhammed Cengic Ambassador of Bosnia. 

Rafat impressed the dignities with his creativity especially Chanrav Burenbayar Charge d’ Affaires of Mongolia present on the occasion. Shruti Rawat garments were marvelous and impressed H.E. Ung Sean Ambassador of Cambodia. Vikrant Singh United Kingdom, Yashika Tuteja presented collection from Guatemala, Dikshita Garg showcased his art of works from Nepal, Vasudha Yadav opted for Kazakhstan, Bushra preferred Bahamas, Mehak Bhatia & Rupashi Dutta worked on the garments influenced by Brazil and Sachin Sharma worked on the beautiful collection from Hungary.

The event was supported by International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, WPDRF- World Peace Development and Research Foundation and IFTRC- International Film and Television Research Centre.
