The event marks a significant milestone in nurturing the spirit of advocacy, legal research, and practical exposure among aspiring law professionals from across the globe.

In his inspiring inaugural address, Justice U. U. Lalit spoke extensively about the essence of moot courts in legal education. He explained that moot courts are not just academic exercises but platforms to cultivate critical thinking, legal reasoning, and courtroom etiquette. “A moot court bridges the gap between theoretical study and actual practice. It develops confidence, discipline, and professional ethics which are vital for every lawyer,” he said, motivating students to embrace these opportunities wholeheartedly.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Asian Education Group, welcomed the dignitaries and participants, highlighting the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and experiential learning. He emphasized that the Moot Court Competition is a reflection of AEG’s vision to provide students with a global platform where they can sharpen their advocacy skills and interact with eminent legal minds. “At Asian Law College, we believe in preparing students not only as knowledgeable lawyers but also as responsible professionals who will uphold justice and fairness in society,” he added.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from law schools across India and abroad, creating a diverse environment of intellectual exchange. Teams will be competing in simulated court proceedings, presenting arguments on complex legal issues before distinguished panels comprising judges, academicians, and senior advocates.
