Closing Function of 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week


Noida: “I extend my heartiest thanks to each and every one who has been associated with 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2019. I pay my gratitude to every faculty member of Asian Education Group, member of administration and management of Marwah Studios, International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry for supporting me in presenting one of the best fashion weeks of the World,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios at the closing function of 3rd GFDWN at Noida Film City.

208 designers, 750 garments, 85 models, 50 countries, 12 workshops, 12 seminars, 8 exhibitions, 34 diplomats, 63 rounds in 9 Fashion shows, 300 press, 24000 footfall in 3 days-Yes it was indeed an extra ordinary festival of design. A new record has been established with 3rd fashion week.

The auditorium was full of members of Asian Education Group, Marwah Studios and ICMEI. Dr. Marwah honored and presented a certificate and a gift as token of appreciation to all.

Every one appreciated the efforts of Ritu Lal Director and her team from AAFT School of Fashion And Design. “We promise you a bigger and better show next time in 2020,” said Ritu Lal thanking Dr. Marwah for his vision and extra ordinary support.

Indo Morocco Film And Cultural Forum Launched


Noida: the Ambassador of Morocco to India recently launched Indo Morocco Film And Cultural Forum during the second day of 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2019 in the presence of national and international people from entertainment, fashion and design fraternity.

“We are privileged to have with us the Ambassador of Morocco to India H.E. Mohamed Maliki to inaugurate the committee on Morocco under the name of Indo Morocco Film And Cultural Forum. The association will work on the development and promotion of Indian and Moroccan relations through art and culture,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

“This is the best time to launch an organization of that standard when the whole world is participating in 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week. My purpose is solved on the very first day to tell people that India and Morocco both have a very cordial and strong relationship,” said H.E. Mohamed Maliki Ambassador of Morocco to India.

The Ambassador of Morocco nominated Dr. Sandeep Marwah as the Chair for the forum, and Dr. Sandeep Marwah presented Patronship of the forum to the Ambassador of Morocco. ICMEI handed over MoU to the embassy for further action.

“I extend by heartiest congratulations to Dr. Sandeep Marwah and H.E. Mohamed Maliki Ambassador of Morocco on creating the forum. I am happy to be the witness to this historical moment now taking place,” said H.E. Eleonora Dimitrova Ambassador of Bulgaria to India.

 BJP Leader Kuljeet  Chahal, Aditya Academician Raj & Ritu Mathur, Designer Sanjeev Manglani, Rinkoo Shroff , Ayan Bhatnagar, Mitali Bhatnagar, Vaibhav Singh, first lady of Algeria to India Yahia Cherif Yassina Wife of Deputy Head of the Mission Embassy of Tunisia Boujdaria Rim, Mohammed Benzakour & Hicham Bayar of Embassy of Morocco were also present there.

Final Day of 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2019


Noida: The ninth session of 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2019 was inaugurated by the young star of Indian silver Screen Mohit Marwah along with his charming wife Antara Marwah, a well known international stylist took the whole lime light for all those minutes at the grounds of AAFT supported by International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

“The fashion industry changes from season to season, so it’s important for designers to keep abreast of the trends. This can be done by regularly reading industry journals and magazines,” suggested Antara Marwah to young designers.

“I think there is beauty in everything. What normal people perceive as ugly, I can usually see something of beauty in it. Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world. Fashion is very important. It is life-enhancing and, like everything that gives pleasure, it is worth doing well,” said Mohit Marwah motivating the audience.

Mohit Marwah honored Anu Sinha for presenting a vibrant dance recital, Harshit Malhotra & Deepansh Malhotra of ENT Network for digital publicity, Ashar Uraini, Sangeeta Ilmi of Tia Herbs, Varnieka S Chauhan Tarot Card Reader for their participation and Saurab Agarwal and team for Makeup during fashion week.

A fashion parade designed and presented by the Embassy of Vietnam was applauded. Fifteen diplomats and their wives brought the beautiful collection of Vietnam designs and preferred colors on ramp. The international audience gave a huge response to this special show.” We are much obliged to Dr. Sandeep Marwah for giving us an international platform to showcase our range. This gesture has enhanced our relations to better platform. Indo Vietnam Film And Cultural Forum is doing great,” said H.E. Pham Sanh Chau Ambassador of Vietnam to India.

A fashion show comprising of large carefully designed clothes by the young designers was presented. Shikha Chauhan & Md Shahid designed the clothes influenced by Poland, Abhishekant Atri & Shweta brought Bulgaria on the ramp, Bhawna Agarwal & Tanya Goyal projected garments from Slovak, Sakshi Mittal & Yash Garg showcased Romanian range, Avid Ansari & Rimmy Verma highlighted India, Abhimanyu Kumar was impressed by Senegal, Palak Singh brought the range from Israel, Raunak Sharma from Gambia and Jagriti Kashyap used the ideas from Sudan.

“3rd Global Fashion And Design Week comes to an end. We have achieved what we wanted to. 208 Designers, 63 rounds in 9 fashion shows, 750 dresses, 12 seminars, 12 workshops, 8 exhibitions, 8 book releases, 85 Models, 50 Countries participation, 34 diplomats and 24000 footfall has made GFDWN as one of the biggest fashion weeks of the World,” informed and thanked Sandeep Marwah the whole team of Ritu Lal & AAFT School of Fashion And Design, ICMEI, AAFT University, ASMS, International Forums and each and every participants.

Two scholarships announced by the World-renowned designer Stefano Ricci were handed over to two young designers Chitwan Kalsi & Akankshya Priyarshni Satapathy of AAFT School of Fashion and design to visit and be assistance to him for three months at Milan, Italy.

Love Peace And Unity Promoted Through 3rd Global Fashion Week

Noida: ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry has been propagating Love Peace And Unity Through Art And Culture. Rather it is the byline of every event, which is designed by ICMEI from last so many years.

“This time on the first day of 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2019 it was decided to promote this beautiful line through a cyclothan- A cycle ride from Noida Film City to India Gate and return by an AAFTian achiever Himanshu Kumar who has already created numerous records,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios.

Thousands of spectators lined up to encourage this boy who was few years back operated and has only one leg. The cyclothan was flagged off by H.E. Mr. Michael Aaron N. N. Oquaye High Commissioner of Ghana to India, Ashraf  Shikhaliyev Ambassador of Azerbaijan to India and Dr. Abdelrazeg Abu Jazer Counsellor and Media Advisor to Embassy of Palestine in India and Dr. Dhusyant spiritual leader in a well organized event with very enthusiastic audience during 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2019.

Himanshu carried the message to New Delhi the capital of Republic of India on behalf of the Marwah Studios and its all-social organizations. People of this country and other countries must realize that love, peace and unity can only be brought by art and culture,” said H.E. Michael A. A. Oquaye Ambassador of Ghana.

“International events are designed to bring people of different countries together. These are the best ways to come close to each other and know each others culture,” added H.E. Ashraf Shikaliyev Ambassador of Azerbaijan.

“I am a student of AAFT and we have learned a lot when it coms to humanity, nationalism and compassion. My teacher Sandeep Marwah is a real International leader. I am his disciple. I am full of enthusiasm when it comes to unity of the nation,” said Himanshu Kumar showing his artificial leg to the press.

Himanshu took a round trip to Noida via India gate and covered 33 KM to propagate the love Peace And Unity. Later Sandeep Marwah honored him with participation certificate and memento.

Noida 18th April: The completion of two days of 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week proved that we are much larger in size than any other fashion week so far has taken place. The 600 persons team of Marwah Studios who has worked so hard for three months is now with new confidence,” Albeena Abbas introduced the colorful evening to the jam-packed lawns.

“Fashion has two purposes: comfort and love. Beauty comes when fashion succeeds. Create your own style let it be unique for yourself and yet identifiable for others. This is what we encourage our young designers to keep on trying with new and different,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of the festival.

The participation of Indo Vietnam Film And Cultural Forum has motivated all of us to do more on fashion. Simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance. Fashion is what suits you,” said H.E. Pham Sanh Chau Ambassador of Vietnam to India while lighting the ceremonial lamp.

“Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening. Romania is always. Every generation laughs at the old fashions, but follows religiously the new so it is now part of life,” said H.E. Radu Octavian Dobre Ambassador of Romania to India.

The program started with the life time achievement award to renowned poet Ashar Urainvi followed by dance recital by renowned Classical Kathak Dancer Anuradha Sharma and Meenakshi Pranjal Varma was honored for her contribution to Hatyanavi Folk Singing.

The young designers presented their range of extra ordinary garments influenced by different countries in consultation with different forums of ICMEI. Bhavyadeep Singhal brought a range from Republic of Gabon, Tulsi & Rimpu, worked on Nepal, Ashima Sethi & Manish Bansal showcased Nigerian garments.

 Hansika Gupta & Sonam Shakya from Azerbaijan, Akankshya Priyadarshani Satapathy from Gabon, Chitwan Kalsi from Siberia, Pawan Gyamlani piickedup ideas from South Africa, Vishal Tyagi  covered Romania, Prateksha Shukla  showcased Slovenia and Pankhuri Agarwal prepared the clothes influenced by the country of Mongolia.

Later Sandeep Marwah presented the certificate of Participation and memento to the dignities and Ritu Lal proposed vote of thanks.

Noida 18th April: The second day of 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week attracted many more designers from all over India and abroad. The campus of Marwah Studios was bubbling with energy and huge turnover of young designers and fashion lovers.

“We are successful in our venture. No one in India has ever thought of organizing a fashion festival to that extent. Designing is playing a very important part in every segment of every industry, be a car or airplane or it is designing of stationery or toys. There is a need to highlight this concept and new ideas,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Festival.

“I appreciate the enthusiasm of ICMEI and AAFT to take this kind of fair to international level. Soon this fashion week will be known to the world. I assure you that Morocco will take part in this festival next time. I am lucky to be associated and it has given me quite a new ideas to think about designing,” said H.E. Muhomed Maliki Ambassador of Morocco to India lighting the ceremonial lamp.

“Festivals like these bring many countries together. I am impressed that designers are also showcasing range from Bulgaria. We would like to part of every event of ICMEI, it is indeed an international platform,” said H.E. Eleonara Dimitrova Ambassador of Bulgaria to India.

Indo Morocco Film And Cultural Forum was launched from the platform where H.E. Muhomed Maliki was honored with the Patronship and Ambassador nominated Sandeep Marwah as the Chair of the forum. Sandeep Marwah also presented Patronship of Indo Bulgarian Film And Cultural Forum to H.E. Eleonara Dimitrova.

“It is difficult to express in words the achievements of Dr. Sandeep Marwah, his contribution is par excellence. He is in real nation building and promoting young talent now in fashion and design too. Lets work hard to create a better India together,” said Kuljeet Chahal General Secretary Bhartiya Janata Party.

The first lady of Algeria in India Yahia Cherif Yassina and Baujdaria Rim from Embassy of Tunisia were also present there. A coffee Table Book Bazars of India was released by the dignities prepared by Tanya Sharma.

Designer Vaibhav Singh, Mitali Bhatnagar, Ayan Bhatnagar, Rinkoo Shroff, Academician Ritu Mathur and Aditya Vig, Sanjeev Maglani  of Kalpana Garments were others speakers on the occasion. Ritu Lal Director AAFT proposed vote of thanks.

A terrific colorful authentic range of garments were presented by young designers including Mohd Uwais who showcased the range from South Africa followed by Jyoti Bisht & Priyansha Priyal from Slovenia, Vdika Singh & Payal from  Iran, Sanya Sahani & Amisha Choudhary from Afghanistan, Purnima & Vikas Yadav from Nigeria, Avisha Adhkari & Riya Dobhal from Bulgaria, Pooja Choudhary & Vandana Yadav from Sudan, Nidhi Tiwari  from Maldives and Manpreet Kaur  presented range from Egypt

Later Sandeep Marwah honored the dignities by presenting them with memento and participation certificate of fashion and design week.

Many Countries Appreciated 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week

Noida: Huge turnout added a lot to the 3rd Global Festival of Fashion And Design Week on the first day itself. We are now confident that 3rd GFDWN is going to create international records. Participation of 50 countries is a quite a job for the fashion week,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of the festival.

“Indo Gabon Film And Cultural Forum always look for an opportunity to be part of these kind of great celebrations to develop and promote relation with India. It is amazing that Indian designers are projecting Gabon in GFDWN 2019,” said H.E. Desire Koumba Ambassador of Gabon to India inaugurating the third session of the first day.

The program started with the Dance recital designed by renowned classical dancer Jyoti Srivastava. Followed by presentation of Life Time Achievement Award to Rajinder Kumar Bhatia a known filmmaker.

“I am happy that AAFT has been educating and training students in the perfect manner where skill development has been emphasized enough. This is the right way to promote designers through fashion shows and exhibitions,” said Dr. Madhukar Gupta IAS Additional Secretary, Ministry of Public Enterprises and Heavy Industries, Government of India.

Indo Uzbekistan Film And Cultural Forum under Dr. Sandeep Marwah’s leadership taking great interest in promoting Indo Uzbekistan relations,” added Fekhruz Urazov Press & cultural Secretary, Embassy of Uzbekistan.

The show was presented by Aashi Parashar on her research on Egypt, Indu Yadav & Moni Bano on Gambia, July on  Serbia, ,Sakshi Sharma & Sakshi on  Israel, Mohd Nabeel Ansari showcased garments influenced from Romania, Anjali Singh  projected India, Aastha Jaiswal on Iran, Anjali Kumar showcased garments and designed induced by the culture of  Uzbekistan, and  Lovleen Anand  had a wonderful parade of dresses from Gabon.

Two research projects from Gabon and Uzbekistan were presented to the dignities. Later Dr. Marwah presented the memento of the fashion week to the dignities as a mark of respect.

Noida: The second session on the first day of 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2019 saw new range of garments influenced by some more countries of the World.

AAFT School of Fashion And Design in association with ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry want to reach largest number of    exporters and garment dealers in different countries so that they can appreciate the hard work of young and new designers. I am thankful to Embassies and diplomats to add on a lot to the show, ”initiated Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI and Asian Education Group.

AAFT and ICMEI together again created a wonderful record by bringing 200 designers under one roof including 750 garments, 57 furniture, jewelry and    textile too,” said renowned filmmaker from Hollywood Mike Berry inaugurating the session.

 “Every time I am attending Global and Fashion Week I found it has grown much bigger in its strength and quality,” said Jewelry Designer Prasoon Dewan appreciating the grandeur of the show. Ishan Kailani CEO Digital Marketing, designer Rashmi Chabra and Entrepreneur Garvita were also part of the session.

 Shalini Kirti researched and worked to prepare range of garments from Slovenia, Lokendra Kumar Maurya from Maldives, Shivani Solanki from Wales, Anushka Upadhyay & Nishi Pal from Vietnam, Itika Jain from Egypt, Nishant Sharma & Trisha Singh from Hungary, Riya Jhinkwan from Iran, Vidit Jain from Fiji, Manisha Rawat for Malaysia and Pragya Prajapati & Subhashree Debata followed the trends from Bahamas.

After releasing news letter of the day, a coffee table book 'Bazars of India', prepared by Aastha Mittal was released by the dignities. Prof Ritulal proposed vote of thanks and Albeena Abbas conducted the program.

Noida: Enthusiasm, Zest and excitement could be seen with colorful decoration at Noida Film City inviting fashion and design lovers to one of the biggest extravaganza of fashion and design at Marwah Studios.

The international flags and their colors, stalls, decorated entrances are enough to recognize the strength of this fashion carnival designed by International Film And Television club in association with AAFT School of Fashion And Design supported by ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry. The third festival has grown bigger with 750 dresses, 200 designers, 85 models, 8 exhibitions, 9 seminars, 49 countries, 85 rounds in 9 fashion shows,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Education Group.

“What a grand show, what a display, what a presentation. Never seen such an interesting gala fashion show. These kind of cultural events bring unity into the people of many countries,” said H.E. Michael A.A. Oquaye High Commissioner of Ghana to India at the inauguration of 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2019.

“I am amazed to note that a unique display of dresses by Azerbaijan are the part and parcel of this fashion week. It has raised the level of our friendship,” added H.E. Ashraf Shikhaliyev Ambassador of Azerbaijan to India while lighting the ceremonial lamp.

“I am honored to the part of this spectacular fashion and design week. A lot has been done to project so many countries at the same time,” said Dr. Abdelrazeg Abu Jazer Counsellor Embassy of State of Palestine.

Renowned designers like Parantap Shekhar, Vikas Kumar, Simran Kaur Malhotra shared their vast experience of the industry to who’s who of fashion and design industry present there along with the design students from all over India and abroad.

Dignities released the design directory of passing out students of degree and diploma students of AAFT Fashion and Design School. A coffee table book prepared by Ruchica Bhardwaj was also released.

The event was followed by a grand fashion show of dresses inspired by the international committees at School. Designers like Pooja Rani showcased the design range of garments from Poland, Priya Sharma of Serbia, Dipti Tripathi of Azerbaijan, Runita Malhotra from Cyprus, Shivi Agarwal of Slovenia, Divya Gautam of Senegal, Jyoti Ranjan & Keertika Pant of Lebanon, Maithli Oberoi & Simran Suri of Lesotho, Nikhil Kumar from Hungary and Rashika Mushra & Surbhi Khandelwal range of clothes were influenced by Ghana. The festival was arranged under the leadership of Ritu Lal festival director.

Earlier an exhibition of group paintings titled “Collection” was inaugurated by the guest of the day. The first day also saw the flag off ceremony of cycle ride    by Himanshu Kumar a record holder of Cyclothon propagating Love Peace And Unity Through Art And Culture.

3rd Global Fashion And Design Week Will Promote Social Issues


3rd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2019


New Delhi: It was decided to high light and promote social issues during three days of Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2019 to be held from 17th to 19th April at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City.

Day one will bring in awareness on love, peace and unity through art and culture where 50 countries are participating from all over the World.” It is our motto and we have been propagating this line from last 27 years since the inception of AAFT- Asian Academy of Film And Television. We started with Asia and then bring whole World to our canvas,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

Day one a cycle ride from Noida Film City to India Gate has been planned as “Peace Yatra” by Himanshu Kumar Alumnus of AAFT to bring awareness on the subject- ‘Love Peace And Unity Through Art And Culture’. Himanshu Kumar is a popular cyclist with few wonderful records to his account.

Day two a group of Women who are cancer survivor will be walking on the ramp and will be talking about Cancer Awareness. A cancer society is associated with this project under the leadership of Smita Das.

Day three will be talking about Armed Forces Support Mission where there will be a start of longest signature campaign to support our forces. J.P.Singh will initiate the project.

Global festivals and cultural weeks are the best way to create awareness about the social issues and subject of national need. It gives you immense satisfaction when programs serve these purposes,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of  3rd GFDWN 2019.
