Noida: The AAFT School of Journalism proudly inaugurated an Exhibition of Still Photography during the 13th Global Festival of Journalism & AVGC Noida 2025 at Marwah Film City, Noida. The exhibition showcased the creative works of aspiring photojournalists, highlighting the power of visual storytelling in modern media.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and International Journalism Centre, led the inauguration, emphasizing the importance of photography as a medium of expression and documentation. He remarked: “Photography is not just an art form but a significant tool in journalism, capturing the essence of truth, emotions, and moments that shape our world.”

Renowned digital creators Neharika Sharma and Dushyant Kukreja also attended the event, sharing their insights on how photography plays a crucial role in digital media and storytelling. Preeti Dahiya, Senior News Anchor & Media Consultant, spoke about the impact of still photography in shaping public perception and news narratives.

Adding to the discussion, Ajay Verma, Media Professional, reflected on the technical advancements in photography, stating how modern tools have transformed the way journalists capture and share images. R.K. Singh, Former Engineer-In-Chief of Doordarshan, provided an in-depth analysis of the evolution of photography in the media industry, stressing its historical and contemporary significance.

Noida: A thought-provoking seminar on “The Role of AI in Shaping the Future of Journalism” was conducted during the 13th Global Festival of Journalism & AVGC Noida 2025 at Marwah Studios, Film City. The session brought together media experts, digital creators, and industry veterans to discuss the evolving impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on journalism.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and International Journalism Centre, initiated the discussion, highlighting AI’s transformative role in media, its ethical implications, and the need for responsible AI-driven journalism. He emphasized: “AI is revolutionizing journalism by enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility. However, human judgment and journalistic ethics must remain at the forefront to maintain credibility.”

NoidaThe AAFT School of Journalism & Mass Communication proudly designed and published a special newsletter to commemorate the 13th Global Festival of Journalism & AVGC Noida 2025 at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida. The newsletter was officially released by distinguished dignitaries, celebrating the achievements of budding media professionals.

The eminent guests present at the event included Neharika Sharma and Dushyant Kukreja, both renowned digital creators, Preeti Dahiya, Senior News Anchor & Media Consultant, Ajay Verma, Media Professional, and R.K. Singh, Former Engineer-In-Chief of Doordarshan. Their presence and encouragement inspired the students to continue excelling in the media industry.

Sandeep Marwah Spoke to ASMS School of Journalism on Convocation Day

Noida: “Every student of ASMS School of Journalism must feel proud that this institution has given 12th February as the International Day of Journalism to the World, followed by the biggest and the most exclusive Global Festival of Journalism. The school of Mass Communication and Journalism has been rated as one of the best education centres in country today,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts at the convocation of Asian School of Media Studies.

“We have left no stone unturned to give you the best in the given circumstances. It your turn to prove your capacities and capabilities what all you have learned in last two and three years. Education can be further divided into Enthusiasm, Determination, Utilization of given resources, Communication, Attitude, Toughness, Information, over all development and being Nationalist,” expressed Dr. Marwah in very simple words by giving examples and case studies.

The students were presented with prestigious awards and diplomas of Asian School of Media Studies. Aditya Paul Bachelor of Arts-Journalism & Mass Communication and Col. Anil Pandit Master of Arts -Journalism & Mass Communication were honored with Suraj Parkash Marwah Memorial Award.  Mitali Swarnkar B.A. in Arts (Journalism & Mass Communication) and Kratika Agarwal M.A. in Arts (Journalism & Mass Communication) were presented with Smt. Sheela Marwah Memorial Award on this auspicious day. Faculty, registrar, and dean also spoke on the occasion.  Akshay Luthra of MA and Sudhansu Gaur of BA were nominated for the best overall performance during the session.
