Boxing Competition at Marwah Studios

Noida:  Last Friday, Asian Academy of Film And Television Boxing Club in association with Amjad Khan Boxing Foundation organized its 1st AKBF Pro-Fight Event held at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida.

“The boxing club of AAFT has begin its activities by organizing another major event by inviting professionals and giving young aspirants an opportunity to learn from heir style and way of conducting,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

“We need to have more games like this. The fact is that any sports will bring good health to the nation.     Healthy Citizens means Healthy Nation,” said Manoj Tewari MP and Delhi Pradesh President of BJP while lighting the ceremonial lamp.

“Marwah Studios is pioneer in supporting any good work, be it a charity, media activities, film event or sports. By joining hands Marwah Studios   has encourage another national sports which has been ignored for a long time,” said S.M. Khan former Director General Ministry of Information And Broadcasting, Government of India.

“ The sports bring in a lots of sportsmanship in students. The games are the need of the hour. It is essential for overall personality of the student. I congratulate Sandeep Marwah for adding sports to the college activities. This will bring major change in the thinking and   alertness of the students, said Stuti Kacker - IAS, Chairperson, National Commission for Protection of Child Rights.

Sahil Peerzada of Dynamic Business Entrepreneur, Manasvi Singh, Director, Buddy4Study India Foundation, Vipin Gaur General Secretary  News Paper Association of India, Roshni Thakur, Rishikumar Singh and Sahil Goyal, MD (ENVI) were also present there.

Chandan Singh and Naseem Ahmed Professional Boxing Coach have groomed these professional players for fight event. The Best Boxers Award was given to Rakesh Lochav in the male category and to Jaspinder Kaur in the female category. 

Amjad Khan an international player and founder of Amjad Khan Boxing Foundation thanked every one for their presence and being a part of the show. He also paid his gratitude to the World Boxing Champion and Olympic Medalist Amir Khan for motivating him to start this  event.

Organizers of Pro Fight Event at Marwah Studios

Noida: The inaugural edition of 1st AKBF Pro-fight event was launched by the Amjad Khan Boxing Foundation at the Marwah Studio, here on Friday. Bouts are all set to be held at Marwah Studio from 2pm onwards on Saturday in patronship with Sandeep Marwah the Founder, Noida Film City, and in presence of Chief Guest Manoj Tiwari Actor & Member Of Parliament. The newly launched boxing event will feature total 5 bouts including 4 Men bouts and 1 female bout.

The competition between the players will be in 5 different weight categories with bouts of 4 rounds of three minutes each. This competition amongst Pro-Boxers is an opportunity to participate and showcase their skills to the world. Professional Boxing Coach Chandan Singh and Naseem Ahmed have groomed these professional players for fight event.

“Don’t count the days; make the days count.” Said by Muhammad Ali, Heavyweight Boxer, Greatest World Champion. The quotation has highly motivated said Amjad Khan, International Boxing Promoter and Founder of Amjad Khan Boxing Foundation.

“The ideas is to promote the game in India and make it more popular with the common people of India,” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios.

ASMS Boxing Club Inaugurated at Marwah Studios

ASMS Boxing Club Launched

Noida: An ASMS Boxing Club has been launched at Asian Education Group for all those who want to be part of international boxing champion ships and competitions.

“We are keen in promoting sports as much as the education. Not only that it inculcates sportsman ship in students but it keeps you fit and create sense of competitiveness also,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Education Group inaugurating the ASMS Boxing Club at Marwah Studios.

“We will leave no stone unturned to built a strong international team from ASMS. Students are keen and ready to learn this art in sports,” said Amjad Khan of Amjad Khan Boxing Foundation.

“We will support ASMS to our best. Our job is to popularize this game, find and promote the best out of the college to compete internationally,” added Shahe Ali President of Indian Professional Boxing Association- the federation of Boxing in India.

Massive friendly boxing matches were displayed for the large group of students who were keen in joining the club. Later Sandeep Marwah honored all the guests with memento of ASMS Boxing Club.
