New Delhi: “It is our great privilege to present Patronship of Indo Armenia Film and Cultural Forum to H.E. Youri Babakhanyan Ambassador of Armenia to India. We are looking upon the Ambassador as our leader to take India and Armenia relations to new level through art and culture,” said Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI and Chair for Indo Armenia Film and Cultural Forum while presenting Patronship to the Ambassador in a small ceremony at Embassy.

New projects were discussed during the meeting between the Ambassador of Armenia & President of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry including visit of delegation to Armenia, presentation of Scholarship, Festival of Films from Armenia, Road show to project Armenian Tourism, Musical and dance recital of Armenian artists etc.

“I take this opportunity to extend my heartiest thanks to the President of ICMEI Dr. Sandeep Marwah for presenting Patronship of Indo Armenia Film and Cultural Forum. We assure you, we will work together to take our relationship to next level,” said H.E. Youri Babakhanyan Ambassador of Armenia accepting the Patronship.

Indo Armenia Film and Cultural Forum was formed in 2019 to develop and promote relation between the people of two countries through soft power including films, television, media, hospitality & tourism, fashion & design, education, Performing arts, fine arts etc.

Indo Armenia Film and Cultural Forum has been part of every activity of International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry since then including Global Film Festival, Global Festival of Journalism, Global Literary Festival, Global Fashion Week etc.

“I am so touched by the gesture of H.E. Youri Babakhanyan Ambassador of Armenia to India. This has motivated me to think more innovative as far relations are concerned with Armenia,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah while accepting the Memento.

Not very long ago we have handed over a scholarship by AAFT – Asian Academy of Film And television to study films in India inclusive of course fee, boarding and lodging to the Embassy of Armenia for the deserving student from Armenia. A festival of films from Armenia is also in the pipe line. Very soon a delegation will be visiting from ICMEI to Armenia to strengthen the relations between two countries through films, media, art and culture,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah also Chair for Indo Armenia Film And Cultural Forum.
